The Ministry of Agriculture has a strategic flagship program to improve the well-being of farmers. One of its programs is People's Business Credit (KUR). The KUR program is expected to be a solution for farmers in providing financial capital from formal financial institutions. Capitalization is a major issue facing farmers. Capital constraints also result in lower quantity and quality of yield. Thus, farmers still have low accessibility of farmers to KUR. This is because farmers consider capital access to formal financial institutions difficult and they need to have a reserve. All this time farmers have been relying on collectors and non-bankers for capital raising. Farmers need to lend capital to cultivators because they are the only easy solution to working capital. This study aimed to describe the capacity of rice farmers in accessing People's Business Credit (KUR) and to analyze the factors that influence the capacity of farmers in accessing the CURS sample of 54 people with purposive sampling technique. The research variables consisted of respondents 'characteristics, support for counseling services, social support and farmers' capacity. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression analysis statistics. The results can be concluded that the capacity of rice farmers in accessing KUR is in the high category. Farmers' capacity is influenced by long-term entrepreneurship, counseling service support and social support.

The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in lock-down measures being imposed by the government of North Macedonia. Conditions of self-isolation have direct effects on mental health. We researched the possible protective factors of psychological well-being. A total of 510 college students from the biggest university in the country (70% females, Mage = 21.12 years, SD = 1.58) responded to a structured online questionnaire, one month after the country's lock down. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed on hypothesized protective factors of well-being. Results showed that significant predictors of the psychological well-being in conditions of isolation are: perceived social support during self-isolation, self-engagement in physical exercises, perception of being adequately informed about the virus and the ways of protection, and the tendency to hold conspiracy explanations about the virus and pandemic. Perception of medical and restriction of movement measures, together with self-engagement in reading /watching movies, were not significant predictors. In the face of the expected further difficulties with the pandemic, policy creators and the scientific community should develop well-thought out strategies, tailored to different groups, in order to provide appropriate support to people to cope with pandemic, to adequately communicate the necessary medical and restriction measures and all important information about the virus and pandemic, especially in order to manage with the complex role of the conspiracy theories which could undermine confidence in the health system.

Recent literature on exposure to domestic violence (DV) highlights the need for increased understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence and abuse (DVA). The current aims were to explore whether two separate dimensions, physical and psychological DVA, were evident in adult children’s reports of their exposure to DVA in their family of origin, and whether these dimensions affected psychological well-being and perceived satisfaction with emotional support (hereafter referred to as social support satisfaction). Young adults ( N = 465, aged 17-25, 70% female) reported their experiences of DVA as perpetrated by their parents/caregivers, as well as psychological well-being and social support satisfaction, in an online survey. Using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), we verified the presence of a two-factor model (physical and psychological DVA). Hierarchical linear regression analysis demonstrated the differing impact of these two factors: Specifically, although exposure to psychological DVA (domestic abuse [DA]) was related to reduced psychological well-being, there was no significant effect of exposure to physical DVA (DV). However, mediation analysis suggested the presence of a suppression effect; there was a magnification of the negative relationship between exposure to psychological DA and social support satisfaction when exposure to physical DV was accounted for. Although findings are preliminary, they provide strong evidence to support theoretical arguments regarding the need for future research to conceptualize exposure to DVA in terms of both physical and psychological dimensions. Our findings also highlight that to improve service response and provide effective interventions, it is essential to include exposure to psychological DA in risk assessments of such young adults.

The subject of this study is a smartphone that is sold officially in Indonesian market. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with the number of samples used amounting to 120 samples which were active users of smartphones. Validity and reliability test results show that the research instrumentsare valid and reliable. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 22 software. The results show that country of origin variables partially do not have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions while perceived quality and brand variablespartially positive and significant influence purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, country of origin variables, perceived quality and brand have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions.

This study set out to investigate the effect of social support on the psychological well-being of academically stressed students in the University of Buea. The study was based on the premise that university students often come with a replete of academically stressed circumstances that often also lead to psychological breakdown. A major contention was that social support could serve as a major framework for the psychological wellbeing of such academically stressed students. We hypothesized that social support systems such as parent/family support, peer acceptance, teachers’ support and the availability of learning resources could lead to the psychological wellbeing of academically stressed students. The purposive sampling technique was used to select a sample size of 374 academically stressed students. The instrument used to collect data was the questionnaire. The data collected were analyzed using the Spearman’s correlation test. The findings revealed that parent/family support (r=0.160; P=0.000), peer acceptance (r=0.140; P=0.000), teachers’ involvement (r= 0.205; P=0.000), and the availability of learning resources r= 0.417; P=0.000) affected the psychological well being of academically stressed students in the university of Buea. It was concluded that social support has a significant explanatory power over the psychological well-being of academically stressed students. In that case parents and significant others ought to spend time listening to students’ concerns and giving advice to those currently dealing with difficult issues.
