The research was conducted on farmer-based system that is integrated beef cattle business with agricultural land in Situbondo. Situbondo is an agricultural area that has potential as regional business development effort of cattle with rice fields. This research was conducted in Situbondo on 5 August to 12 September 2014. The choice of location research is done intentionally (purposive) in consideration because the area is one of the fields and the majority of people work as petani.Tujuan of this study was to determine the magnitude household income of cattle on beef cattle business integration system and to determine the household income of paddy farmers' efforts. Samples were observed in this study were 39 respondents, and data analysis using the formula to determine the income analysis-cattle farmers' income, the contribution formula to determine the contribution of farming to income-livestock farmers. The results showed that revenues in the system integration business beef with rice fields Rp. 28,434,100.1. Suggestions in the study should be the ranchers and farmers of system integration in Situbondo increase to the maximum all the factors affecting the production of beef cattle business productivity, thereby automatically breeders and farmers' income will also

The study was conducted across four rural communities of Chief Albert Luthuli municipality in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. The objective of the study was to assess the contribution of beef cattle farming to household income in Chief Albert Luthuli municipality of Mpumalanga Province, South Africa. Data were analyzed descriptively. Simultaneously, multiple regression analysis was used to determine the factors affecting the contribution of beef cattle in household income in the study area. Results showed that 50% each of both the male and female farmers were engaged in beef cattle farming. 50.5% of respondents were more than 51 years old and therefore not in productive age with 40% of respondents aged between 41 - 50 years old. 7% of respondents have 1 - 2 dependents, while 11.5% of respondents have 3 - 4 dependents and 35.5% have more than 4 dependents. However, 46% of respondents have other dependents which they did not specify. 22.5% of respondents have 1-10 years of beef cattle farming experience while 14% have 11 - 12 years of experience. However, 21% of respondents have more than 20 years of experience and 39.5% have 50 - 60 years of experience on beef cattle farming. 40.5% of respondents acquired grade 11 or below and 45% of respondents had no school education, elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school. The contribution of beef cattle farming to household's income in communal areas of Chief Albert Luthuli is 19%. Also, number of beef cattle and age of mortality hold significant influence on the farmer's income from beef cattle.

This research was conducted (1) to understand the labor supply on the paddy farming (2) to estimate the factors affecting labor supply of farm household on the paddy farming (3) to understand source of farm household income and the contribution of farm household income. The primary method for this research is descriptive analysis. The research located in Margokaton Village, Sayegan Subdistrict, Sleman District were determined simple random sampling, there were 30 farm household of paddy farmers. The data was analyzed by paired sample t-test and multiple linier regression analysis by Ordinary Least Sugar(OLS). The result showed that (1) labor supply on paddy farming was 103,44 HKO/year which consists of family labor was 85,81 HKO/year and non family labor was 17,63 HKO/year, (2) labor supply of farm household on the paddy farming was affected positively by field area and technical irrigation (3) sources of farm household income were from farm income and non farm income meanwhile the contribution of farm income and non farm income to farm household income were 45,64% and 54,36% of.  The contribution of paddy farming is 19,60% to farm household income.

Agricultural land in Banyumas Regency has decreased from year to year due to population and economic growth. The farm rice fields in Banyumas Regency in 2017 were 66.210 hectares, reduced to 63.326 hectares in 2020 or decrease in land area of 4%. This research was aimed to examine the conversion rate of agricultural land in the Banyumas Regency and factors that determine the conversion of agricultural land in the Banyumas Regency. The primary method used was descriptive-analytical. Determination of the research location was using a purposive method in Banyumas Regency. The technique to analyze the data was Linear multiple regression (Ordinary Least Squares). The information which used in this research was secondary data in 2010 – 2020. The variables in this research are conversion of agricultural land, population, number of industries, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), and Farmer’s terms of trade (FTT). This research shows that the conversion rate of agricultural land in Banyumas Regency is 8,45%, meaning that the average of arm rice fields in Banyumas regency for the last ten years (2010 – 2020) has decreased by 8,45%. The multiple linear regression analysis shows that the variables number of population, number of industry, and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) have a significant and positive effect on the conversion of agricultural land in Banyumas Regency. Farmer’s terms of trade (FTT) do not significantly affect agricultural land conversion in Banyumas Regency.

The process of urbanization is taking place fast and vigorously in large urban and peri-urban areas in Vietnam. According to national forecasts, the rate of urbanization nationwide will reach 39.3% by 2020 and 50-55% by 2035. Thai Nguyen is a province in the midland and mountainous region. The province is located at the northern gateway and bordered with Hanoi capital. In recent years, the agricultural land area of Thai Nguyen province has narrowed due to the urban-industrial development. Urban agriculture development is an inevitable direction, creating safe and high quality food products, protecting the ecological environment, and increasing people's income. Thai Nguyen is one of the provinces promoting sustainable urban agricultural development. Secondary and primary data sources are analyzed and synthesized by descriptive statistical methods. The article will analyze five groups of factors affecting urban agricultural development in Thai Nguyen province in the period 2015-2018, including Socio-economic; Natural conditions and infrastructure; Policy factors; Planning factors; Links and integration.

Abstract The main aim of the study was to examine the role of females' economic participation in household income. To achieve this objective both primary and secondary sources of data were collected from 400 sample size using simple random sampling method. The obtained data were first analyzed using a descriptive method to describe socio-economic characteristics of women in the study area. Secondly, to identify determinants of women’s participation in economic activities and household decision-making process logit model was employed and finally, multiple linear regression method was applied to identify factors affecting the level of women's contribution to household income. The result shows that female participation in economic activities positively determines by women's training and woman’s education level and is negatively affected by the presence of children under five years of age. The contribution of women to household income on average was estimated birr 32,400.50 per annum which was nearly 36.8percent of the overall household income. The possible recommendation is government and other respective bodies must encourage women to learn more and more.
