This paper reports a new genus and a species of the tribe Haplotropidini Sergeev, 1995, i.e. Sulcohumpacris Yin, Yin et Cao gen. n. and Sulcohumpacris hebeiensis Yin, Yin et Cao sp. n. from Hebei Province, China. The new genus is similar to Humphaplotropis Xiao, Yin et Yin, 2013, but differs from the latter by the hump-formed pronotum along the median keel being deeply cut by hind sulcus and hence divided in two waves in lateral view, the anterior margin being acutely angular in the middle, the apex not reaching the hindmargin of the eyes, the frontal ridge being widened at the median ocellus, and the abdomen having large teeth along the median keel in lateral view. A key to the three genera of this Chinese tribe is given. The type specimens are deposited in the Museum of Hebei University, Baoding, China.

Female.—Length 7 mm. Head very little wider than thorax, cheeks, viewed from the side, broader than the temples; face much broader than long, shallowly sparsely punctate; eyes large, prominent; malar space about as long as basal width of mandible; clypeus convex, much less than twice as broad as long, the anterior margin truncate; distance from clypeal foveae to eyes about equal to length of clypeus; lateral ocelli not distinctly larger than median ocellus; longest segment of maxillary palpus distinctly shorter than second segment of antennal flagellum; apical segment of labial palpus much longer than preceding segment; antennae of the type broken, seven segments of flagellum present; first flagellar segment about as long as height of eyes.

A new genus (Mirigryllus He gen. nov.) with a new species (M. nigrus He sp. nov.) is reported from Zhejiang, China. The morphology and calling songs of the new species are provided. The features that different from tribe Modicogryllini spp. include long and thin posterior epiphallic lobes, ectoparameron transparent. Two genes, COI and 18S, of 11 Modicogryllini species were sequenced, and phylogenetic tree was reconstructed. The results support the validation of the new species. The type specimens are deposited in Museum of Biology, East China Normal University (ECNU).

Species previously attributed to Necrotauliidae are revised from the Late Triassic and Early Jurassic of England based on examination of type specimens and non-type material. The necrotauliids have been considered as a basal family of caddisflies (Trichoptera) or as a paraphyletic assemblage of stem-amphiesmenopterans. Herein a new genus, Austaulius, is erected which includes all Lilstock Formation∖Lower Lias material from England; the previously described species are synonymized with A. furcatus and a new species, A. haustrum, is described from the Dorset Coast, the holotype of which preserves synapomorphic traits of the Trichoptera not previously described suggesting that the family is trichopteran. The type genus remains Necrotaulius and type species N. parvulus (Geinitz, 1884) from the type locality of Dobbertin, Germany. One species of Necrotaulius is represented in the UK, N. parvulus, which is found in the Upper Lias.

A new genus is proposed for Pseudophlugiolopsis bitubera gen. nov., sp. nov. from Yunnan, China. Another new species of the genus Allicyrtaspis is described: Allicyrtaspis? phryganis sp. nov. The type specimens are preserved in the Museum of Hebei University.

Abstract Four examined specimens from Brazil, Ceará, with morphological characteristics belonging to Tibicinini (Hemiptera: Cicadidae) revealed an undescribed genus and species. Gibbocicada brasiliana gen. et sp. nov., representing the first record of Tibicinini in Brazil, is recognized mainly for the head three times shorter than pronotoum in dorsal view, the lateral ocelli almost reaching the anterior margin of pronotum, the pronotum and mesonotum pronounced dorsally in lateral view, and the fore wings with the median and cubitus anterior veins rising from the same point in the basal cell. A key to the genera of Tibicinini is presented.

A new genus (Arboramima Zong, Qin & He gen. nov.) with a new species (Arboramima cattusis Zong, Qin & He sp. nov.) is reported from Guangxi, China. The morphology of the new genus and species are provided. Samples of Aemodogryllinae species were selected for the reconstruction of phylogenetic tree based on mitochondrial COI fragment. The results supported the validation of the new genus. The type specimens are deposited in Museum of Biology, East China Normal University (ECNU).

A new genus and species belonging to the primary freshwater crab family Potamidae, and a new species of the genus Artopotamon Dai & Chen, 1985, are described on the basis of remarkable G1and female gonopore characters. Semicirculara lincangensis gen. & sp. nov. and Artopotamon latopeos sp. nov. were collected from southwestern and northwestern Yunnan Province, China, respectively. All type specimens are deposited in Nanjing Normal University in Nanjing and the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IZCAS) in Beijing. Mitochondrial molecular data, from the partial sequence of the mitochondrial 16S rRNA gene, are also shown to support the distinct systematic position of the new taxa.

The myriapod fauna of China is still poorly known and very little attention had been paid to the study of Lithobiomorpha, with only 100 species/subspecies hitherto known from the country, among which are only seven species of Hessebius. Here we are describing a new species of the genus Hessebius. A new lithobiid species, Hessebius crassifemoralis sp. nov., is described and illustrated from Hengshui Lake National Nature Reserve, Hebei Province, China. The new species is compared with H. luquensis Qiao, Qin, Ma, Su & Zhang, 2018 from Gansu Province, China. A key to Chinese species, based on adult specimens, is provided. Type specimens and other material are deposited in the School of Life Sciences, Hengshui University, Hengshui, China.

A new species of Urostylididae from the Philippine islands (Mindanao) is herein described. This new species, similar to Urolabida bipunctata Stål, 1871, differs from the latter in the shape of the external male genitalia. Urolabida bipunctata and the new species, Urolabida graziae Roca-Cusachs, sp. nov., are extremely similar in external appearance, and fit into the (incomplete) description of genus Urolabida Westwood, 1837. The examination and comparison with the type specimens of other Urostylididae species, especially the male genital capsule, clearly separates this two species from Urolabida tenera Westwood, 1837, the type species of the genus Urolabida, however the taxonomy of this group is not resolved and needs a deep revision, therefore we refrain from description of a new genus-group taxon here. Additionally, images of the type specimens of Urolabida tenera, Urostylis histrionica Westwood, 1837, and Urostylis punctigera Westwood, 1837, are provided and discussion on the current systematics and classification of the family, and particularly of genus Urolabida are also given.

Summary During quarantine inspections, a new species of Hoplotylus was detected from the rhizosphere of the Japanese maple, Acer palmatum, imported into China from Japan. Hoplotylus japonicus n. sp. is characterised by a stout 431-602 μm long body, well-developed 20.0-24.5 μm long stylet with tulip-shaped knobs having rounded sides in lateral view and a rounded anterior margin, excretory pore located slightly posterior to the hemizonid, usually empty, spermatheca, conical tail with a spike-like projection, which is distally smooth on the dorsal side, and males not found. It was morphologically compared with four currently known species of the genus, viz., H. femina, H. montanus, H. silvaticus, and H. sjacobi. In molecular phylogenetic analyses using 18S, 28S and internal transcribed spacer (ITS) ribosomal DNA sequences, the new species formed a clade with the only currently sequenced species of the genus, H. femina, in all phylogenies. This is the second species of the genus characterised by molecular data and the second species recovered from Japan.
