The COVID-19 is an ongoing global pandemic, caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The virus was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 resulted in the abrupt shutting of all the educational institutions (schools, colleges, and universities) in India. This resulted in dramatic changes in the education system with the distinctive rise of e-learning, whereby teaching is undertaken remotely and on digital platforms. Online learning is a competent and contactless method of teaching to remotely located students. Geography is a branch of science which deals with the study of the earth’s surface and the relationships between people and their environment. Geographers explore both the physical properties of the earth’s surface and the human societies spread across it. The subject matter of Geography containing different theory papers and practical papers cannot just be effectively taught in a classroom or laboratory but best enlightened on the field. For the effective learning process in the subject of Geography, students require on-ground observations, laboratory analysis, projects and dissertations, field surveying, computer mapping and analysis, field trips and excursions, etc. It helps the budding Geographers to acquire not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills. But the COVID-19 pandemic situation confronted the education system, forcing the educators in the field of Geography to shift to an online mode of teaching, leaving them with no option. During this crisis, the educators have given their best in teaching the subject matter of Geography to the students by using various open-source teaching aids by overcoming the issues like lack of training and professional technical support. This altered the traditional teaching and learning process in the field of Geography, which essentially affects the students of Geography. Thus, a case study was undertaken to assess the online teaching in the subject of Geography at the undergraduate level during the academic year 2020-21 from the student’s perspective.

The final goal of the series of learning processes undertaken by the teacher is the success of the teaching and learning process. In fact, there are still many weaknesses in the process that can result in the failure of the learning process. In essence learning outcomes refer to everything that belongs to students as a result of teaching and learning activities undertaken. Therefore, each subject requires learning outcomes that are different from other subjects. As was the case with learning at the beginning of Semester I of the 2016/2017 Academic Year in class V Rancakalong. In the implementation of learning Indonesian subjects with the subject matter "Writing the Use of a Tool", out of 31 fifth grade students only 4 children who scored above 70 or equivalent to 1% of students were able to master the material. Based on the calculations above, several problems can be formulated: the teacher does not use the correct and appropriate teaching aids and the teaching methods developed by the teacher are less effective. Based on the background description the problem formulation can be formed as follows: "How do you increase students' understanding and motivation about writing the use of a class V tool by applying the demonstration method as a learning method?" Through the findings of reflection and discussion with peers, the learning carried out has shown progress. This is indicated by the increase in students' mastery and understanding of the subject matter. The results of the improvement of BI subjects are evidenced by an increase in the results of the students' evaluation scores. Of the 31 students in the first cycle there were only 14 students who scored above 70 or equivalent to 64.66%. In the second cycle of learning improvement there were 17 students who scored above 70 or equivalent to 73.88%, and in cycle III students who scored above 70 were 31 students or equivalent to 82.2%. Performance is the performance shown by educators, both in quality and quantity in carrying out their duties in accordance with the responsibilities given to them professionally. Educator performance development is a very decisive factor in the success of the education and learning process. In fact, in Kindergarten Rayon IV, Dumai City, there is still a low level of competency standards possessed by educators. The intended competency standard is from the standard academic qualifications and four competencies that must be possessed by a kindergarten educator, namely pedagogic, professional, social and personality competencies. This is evidenced by educators not yet mastering learning material with the maximum known when the learning process educators are not able to explain well the subject matter, and educators have not shown maximum performance in carrying out their duties and functions. The purpose of this study was to see whether there was an influence on teacher professionalism on teacher performance in Dumai IV Rayon Kindergarten. The results of the study prove that there is a significant relationship between the professionalism of Kindergarten educators and the performance of educators in Kindergarten Rayon IV, Dumai City. This is evidenced by the value of Sig (2-tailed) professionalism on educator's performance of 0,000, so the calculation shows 0,000 <0.05. This means that Ha is accepted, that is, there is a significant relationship between the professionalism of Kindergarten educators and the Performance of Educators in Kindergarten Rayon IV, Dumai City.

Abstract: In the Romanian education system, the 1980s were a time of big constraints. The most severe decline in the number of places in the higher education system occurred in the preparation of the academic year 1982/1983. This trend continued during the following years, albeit it was less drastic. In this paper I try to answer the following questions: Which was the overall significance of the cuts? How were the cuts distributed among forms of higher education – daytime courses, evening courses and extramural courses? Which were the reasons behind these cuts? Were the cuts motivated by the employers’ demand of graduates?

The problem that we need to be solved in the world of our education is the weak learning process. The learning process in the classroom is still directed at the child's ability to memorize information. While biology requires logical and reasonable learning to be accepted and absorbed by the brain so that it can last long. The aim of the research is to know the influence of course review horay learning toward student’s of cognitive learning class ten in the subject matter cell in MA Sabilul Hasanah Kecamatan Sembawa Kabupaten Banyuasin. This research method used quasi-experimental design with a quantitative approach research pretest-posttest control group design. The sample is taken by using purposive sampling techniques. The sample was grade XI MIA 2 as an experimental class and class XI MIA 1 as the control class. The instrument used in this research is a test to measure student’s cognitive learning about the cognitive categories C1-C4. Data analysis use the t-test, data on the calculation difference average posttest both groups earned value t-test much as 4,806 while value t-table with significant level5% with degrees of freedom (dk) 42 is equal to1,684, it can be said that t-test > t-table means the alternative hypothesis (Ha) be accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) rejected. In reality, not a few teachers who have been certified as educators are less competent in teaching the field of study. Many teachers are also able to master the subject matter, but they have difficult to present the material. This research applied a qualitative method using a case study design. It was carried out in the State Madrasah schools of Salahutu District, Central Maluku Regency. This research was conducted from August to 02 November 2017. The subjects of this study were 3 Arabic teachers, two principals and 6 class students totaling 12 informants. Based on the results, it was found that the pedagogic competence of Arabic language teachers was still relatively low due to the several indicators that were not implemented during the learning process. The personality’s competence of Arabic language teachers is relatively good compared to their pedagogical competence. The lacks of training, facilities, and rewards have caused the low educational competence of teachers. Their personal competence is due to strict supervision and their commitment to building the ummah as followers of religion and not because of their profession as teachers. Students are motivated to learn Arabic due to the motivation is given by the teacher, the mu'amalah is good between teachers and students, and there is a continuous and rigorous evaluation.
