Now a day’s IoT brings gadgets together and assumes a fundamental part in different methodologies like smart home automation, brilliant industries, smart environment, agricultural fields and patient health monitoring system and so on. One of the approaches is to monitor the health state of the patient and screen it to doctors or paramedical staff through the IoT, as it is hard to screen the patient for 24 hours. So here the patient health condition or status i.e. Pulse rate, Body Temperature, ECG and so on can be measured by utilizing the protruding sensors. These sensors are associated with the node mcu and mcp 3008, it gathers the information i.e. biomedical data from the sensors and the detected biomedical information can be transmitted to the server. The "Thingspeak" named cloud is utilized here to place the detected information into the server. From this server, the information can be envisioned to the specialists and other paramedical staff either by Thingspeak website or Thingview android application. This system also notifies if there is any change in patient parameters. In this way, this Health monitoring system diminishes the toil of specialists and paramedical staff to screen the patient for 24 hours and further reduces time and cost for support.

Abstract: An IoT based health monitoring system records the patient’s heart beat, body temperature, oxygen levels of blood etc. It can also be used to inform the timing of medication and provides live monitoring of health condition of patient to the doctor available in his chamber. It also sends an SMS alert whenever the health parameter readings go beyond critical values. Keywords: Heart beat, Temperature, Oxygen Levels, Medication timing, SMS alert.

Different types of health monitoring systems are now available in the market. We are using them as a part of our day-to-day life to analyze health conditions. In the case of sea researchers and scuba divers, the medium they are working is water. The health difficulties are more inside the water. So there is a need to develop a health monitoring system for sea researcher’s/scuba divers to analyze their health condition frequently to ensure their safety. The proposed work uses LiFi technology as the communication method to transmit and receive corresponding bio parameter values. This work aims to provide a harmless wireless health monitoring system that will provide maximum efficiency inside the water.

Abstract: The increased use of smart phones and smart devices in the health zone has brought on extraordinary effect on the world’s critical care. The Internet of things is progressively permitting to coordinate sensors fit for associating with the Internet and give data on the health condition of patients. These technologies create an amazing change in medicinal services during pandemics. Likewise, many users are beneficiaries of the M-Health (Mobile Health) applications and E-Health (social insurance upheld by ICT) to enhance, help and assist continuously to specialists who help. The main aim of this ‘IOT Health Monitoring System’ is to build up a system fit for observing vital body signs such as body temperature, heart rate, pulse oximetry etc. The System is additionally equipped measuring Room Temperature and Humidity and Atmosphere CO level. To accomplish this, the system involves many sensors to display vital signs that can be interfaced to the doctor’s smart phone as well as caretakers’ smartphone. This prototype will upload the readings from the sensor to a server remotely and the information gathered will be accessible for analysis progressively. It has the capacity of reading and transmitting vital parameters measured to the cloud server and then to any Smartphone configured with Blynk App. These readings can be utilized to recognize the health state of the patient and necessary actions can be taken if the vital parameters are not in prescribed limits for a longer period. Keywords: IOT Health Monitoring System, Vital parameters, Blynk App

Due to the long-term service, Chinese ancient timber buildings show varying degrees of wear. Thus, structural health monitoring (SHM) for these cultural and historical treasures is desperately needed to evaluate the service status. Although there are some FBG sensing-based SHM systems, they are not suitable for Chinese ancient timber buildings due to the differences in architectural types, structural loads, materials, and environment. Besides, a technical gap in Fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensing-based column inclination monitoring exists. To overcome these weaknesses, this paper develops an FBG sensing-based structural health monitoring system for Chinese ancient Chuan-dou-type timber buildings that aims at monitoring structural deformation, i.e., beam deflection and column inclination, temperature, humidity, and fire around the building. An in-situ test and simulation analyses were conducted to verify the effectiveness of the developed SHM system. To validate the long-term-operation of the developed SHM system, monitoring data within 15 months were analyzed. The results show good agreement between the developed SHM system in this paper and other methods. In addition, the SHM system operated well in the first year after its deployment. This implies that the developed SHM system is applicable and effective in the health state monitoring of Chinese ancient Chuan-dou-type timber buildings, laying a foundation for damage prognosis of such types of timber buildings.

This paper presents the design details of its implementation of an IoT-based Real Time Health Monitoring System for the monitoring of a patient and provides. The proposed Design permits the monitoring of health related dangers and deals with economy in health care expenditure through effective interpretation and distribution of patient data. This paper works on the concept of reducing human presence in monitoring a patient’s problems and sending vital details to the Doctors and Caretakers on a real time basis. This proposal helps saving in and alerts the Doctors/Caretakers in an emergency situation to ensure critical moments are not wasted. The outcome of the proposed system is to provide exact collected medical services to patients through records and information through sensors which monitor the patient’s details relating to Pulse, temperature, Body Tilt Angle and Glucose Level. This information is sent to the patient’s Doctor/Caretaker using a cloud based App on a real time basis.
