The age of computer advancement has caused a revolutionary change in the corporate sector. From on-campus working hours to remote work from home scenarios, from meetings in a conference room to meeting online in a virtual environment, things are changing continuously in the corporate environment. This paper tries to educate and generate awareness about cyber security in the non-technical human resource and try to make them understand the potential risks to their organization which can be caused because of not giving much attention to smaller details. This paper concentrates on those attacks which can be mitigated by any non-technical employee and which are easy to understand and give preventive measures for the same.

The study bases on the SHARE Wave 8 COVID-19 Survey conducted in June-August 2020 in 26 European countries and Israel via CATI. The association between health status of older workers and their involvement into labour market in Latvia is the strongest in Europe. In the short term, the first wave of the infection outbreak affected the employment of older population in the Baltic States to much lesser extent than in most of participating countries. The proportion of those workers who experienced unemployment, lay-off or closure of business, as well as changes in the number of working hours was considerably lower than average values. The branches with traditionally high share of older workers (education, healthcare, agriculture, administrative services) were least affected by lockdown measures. Remote work from home in the Baltic States as well as combining work from home with usual work place was lower than the European average. The existing labour legislation in Latvia does not ensure sufficient protection of workers’ rights and health in the situation of remote work.

The office environment has changed rapidly due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak. Companies consider various types of remote work environments to contain the spread of the virus. Among them, a satellite office is a type of remote work environment where a number of employees are allocated to their nearest office. The benefits from satellite offices are twofold: The significant reduction of travel distance also reduces the amount of carbon emission and fuel consumption. In addition, dividing employees into smaller groups significantly reduces the potential risks of infection in the office. This paper addresses a satellite office allocation problem that considers social and environmental sustainability and infection control at work. In order to evaluate the effect of different satellite office allocation, quantitative measures are developed for the following three criteria: carbon emission, fuel consumption, and the probability of infection occurrence at work. Simulation experiments are conducted to investigate different scenarios of regional infection rate and modes of transportation. The results show that adopting satellite offices not only reduces carbon emission and fuel consumption, but also mitigates business disruption in the pandemic.

Falls and fractures among elderly persons constitute a major health problem. Many falls occur while walking and falls that occur during turning often result in a fracture. Methods aimed at understanding the complex mechanisms involved in walking should therefore assess tested individuals during walks and turns. In order to identify persons at risk and take the correct preventive measures, it is important to find methods that quantify movements as the tested persons are processing multisensory input. In a clinical setting this is sometimes difficult to achieve in a controlled manner, since tests are difficult to set exactly the same from one time to another. Using a virtual environment (VE) and a tracker system, conditions such as light, sound, events, body movements, and room size can be controlled and measured. Tests in VE can therefore be identically reproduced over and over again to evaluate if a person can withstand changing outer demands at any given moment. In order to perform quantitative measures 8 persons (21–74 years) were tested in immersive virtual reality. The VE was a corridor in which expected and unexpected events could be produced. Events studied were doors swinging open in front of the subjects during a walk and a virtual tilting of the environment. Trackers were used for collecting and analyzing the movement data. Our results show that the system was well tolerated among the subjects and that there was a clear tendency that the system could generate fall tendency among the subjects. There was also a difference among the subjects regarding walking strategies when subjected to the various events.

The purpose of the present study is to identify the main advantages and problems of remote work for both employers and employees, and possible ways to solve them. The article shows a significant number of studies dealt with non-standard forms of labor organization, clarifies the essence of remote work, and examines the main aspects for its effective organization. The main advantages and problems of remote work for employers and employees, as well as possible ways to solve them, are identified based on an expert survey involving 36 experts. According to the conducted study, it can be concluded that the acceleration of scientific and technological progress and adverse epidemiological conditions contribute to the spread of remote work worldwide. This phenomenon has two aspects. On the one hand, remote work, firstly, reduces the unemployment rate and improves the image of the company; secondly, offers flexible working hours; thirdly, protects/retains customers and saves time/transport costs. On the other hand, remote work is associated with the difficulty in maintaining efficiency and teamwork at a high level; secondly, it restricts communication, makes it impossible to perform certain tasks at home; and thirdly, remote work leads to insufficient physical activity, causes difficulties with integration into the corporate culture, etc.

The relevance of the study is dictated by the introduction of digitalization in all spheres of human life, and timely protection of information and personal data of citizens in the first place. The objective of the study was the need to transform the methods and approaches of information protection during its transmission, creation and storage. Methodological arsenal of the study is presented by scientific methods of cognition of the studied phenomenon content, the structuring of its components and the system of generalization, and analysis of the causal relationship between the visualization functionality and information security of management decisions. The author analyzed the main virtualization technologies for digital business transformation and concluded that there is the need to improve the legal framework in this area. The significance of this article lies in the fact that the use of the virtualization method will increase the level of business security with minimal losses. Current GOST R 56938-2016 "Information protection when using virtualization technologies" does not fully reflect the issues of information protection in terms of its visualization, which leads to the need to improve the legal framework when using virtualization technologies for data protection. It is essential to pay special attention to cloud storage, collaboration and communication services, remote project management programs, cybersecurity solutions, and CRM systems. This is particularly relevant today during the emergence of virtual workplaces and transferring employees to remote work from home.

Annotation. Introduction. The author investigates in his article the main drawbacks of the Ukrainian legislative base that may cause difficulties for employers and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. While reading this article you will find several solutions on how to limit salary expenses of you company or firm, lead in remote or part-time working schedule on the enterprise and grant employees unpaid leave. The article also deals with the procedure of the paper work that should be done while processing sick leaves of the people who suffered from the COVID-19 disease or contacted with the COVID-19 patients. Purpоse. The purpose of this article is to identify the shortcomings of labor legislation during quarantine and restrictive measures related to the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Consider and analyze new approaches in building labor relations between employees and employers in the face of rising unemployment and the introduction of telework. Results. The pandemic covered 210 countries and territories. Studies have shown that tens of millions of people have lost their jobs. According to various social survey centers, every third company surveyed optimized the payroll, sent employees to remote work with a reduction in wages, reduced staff and transferred some workers to contracts. Today it is possible to exercise the right to receive partial unemployment benefits for insured workers who have lost part of their wages due to forced downtime or reduction of working hours due to quarantine. Cоnclusiоns. Today, much responsibility lies with the subjects of labor relations, much depends on the employees and employers, on their responsibility and charity. State aid to those categories that were more vulnerable during the crisis remains important. Financial assistance can take the form of grants and grace periods on outstanding loans – in order to support and overcome the profitability crisis. The article analyzes the novelties of labor legislation initiated by the Federal Law “On Amendments to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation regarding the Regulation of Remote (remote) Work and temporary transfer of an employee to remote (remote) work on the initiative of the employer in exceptional cases” of 08.12.2020 N 407-FZ, which entered into force on January 1, 2021. The distinctive features of the working regime of remote workers are considered, which are characterized by the lack of direct control of the employee by the employer and, as a result, the urgent need to ensure the interaction of the parties to the employment contract through the use of IT technologies. The main changes in the regulation of the working regime of remote workers are shown, including the norms on the interaction of the employee and the employer, on the organization of the work of the remote employee and his working time.

The modernization of rail control systems has resulted in an increasing reliance on digital technology and increased the potential for security breaches and cyber-attacks. Higher-level European Train Control System(ETCS) systems in particular depend on communications technologies to enable greater automation of railway operations, and this has made the protecting the integrity of infrastructure, rolling stock, staff and passengers against cyber-attacks ever more crucial. The growth in Internet of Things (IoT) technology has also increased the potential risks in this area, bringing with it the potential for huge numbers of low-cost sensing devices from smaller manufacturers to be installed and used dynamically in large infrastructure systems; systems that previously relied on closed networks and known asset identifiers for protection against cyber-attacks. This chapter demonstrates that how existing data resources that are readily available to the railways could be rapidly combined and mapped to physical assets. This work contributes for developing secure reusable scalable framework for enhancing cyber security of rail assets
