An integral part of any person’s life is humor. It makes our life more attractive, it hides a huge potential of vitality, wherein humor is a risk zone, where it can be presented as something devastating and derogative. The last 4 years of the most difficult social and political processes of Ukrainian reality we can observe a splash of interest to humorous programs of various kinds. Several separate channels began its functioning by offering to view only comical and funny content. This phenomenon makes one to think about humor specifics, about necessity of interaction with the comic, about its importance not only for one person but for the whole country. Thus, the aim of the research is to determine the place of the humor in the contemporary Ukrainian culture. The humor subject is well represented in the history of the humanitarian sciences, however, due to the ambiguity of the subject of the study, this topic remains open for further researches. There are three main theories of humor, such as consolation theory, superiority theory and discrepancy theory. And each theory finds its own proponent. The main statement of the consolation theory is that humor is a way to cope with inner tension and the opportunity to get a pleasure from laughing. In the superiority theory the sense of satisfaction from the excellence while observing a fun person as a week, stupid, unsuccessful takes the first place. In the discrepancy theory the contrast between expected and real is important for understanding the humor nature, detecting the discrepancies of our ideas about things (concepts, categories) to its real embodiments, that in the end bring out the laugh. The success of the joke is the success of finding the hidden absurdity in it.Ukrainian science also provides some developments in this sphere. Annual scientific and theoretical conference devoted to the humor theme takes place in Odessa I. I. Mechnikov National University. The question of comical in human being and its cognition as well as forms of comical in literature and art are raised. To our mind, tragic social processes, which were taking place in Ukraine over the last 4 years, with no doubt lead to a rapid increase of society tension. In such conditions laugh is a good way to cope with negative consequences, as pointed in the consolation theory, humor and laugh are the opportunity to protect themselves painlessly, specifically Ukrainian society, from mental overload. As Freud pointed out, humor, irony and comic offer us a quick way not only to relieve tension, but also to get a pleasure, to live through the moment being happy. The moment of happiness and pleasure, the experience of consolation are the factors that determine the comical in the rank of priorities when choosing a particular discourse in conditions of the complex tragic situation. As any psychological protection the comical has two sides. To a certain moment, laugh is a relief from pain, as a result it becomes the cause of psychological anesthesia, the inability to fully experience the feelings and emotions that correspond to the situation context. However, this particularity of contemporary individual is connected not so with humor as with its overabundance. Also it is connected with overabundance of the information which is consumed in conditions of the informative society and society of consuming. On the other hand, humor supports Ukrainian society by contributing the stabilization of the social processes. Apparently, ironic discourse, which captured TV screens and Ukrainian YouTube, is the rescue for the Ukrainians and it proves one more time the ideas about consolation theory of humor.

Introduction. The epistolary heritage of Panteleimon Kulish is nebulized on the different archived establishments of not only Ukraine but also the world. Clear that it is not all places, where the manuscripts of P. Kulish are presently kept. Already the presence of this fact convincingly leads to the outstanding of the figure of P. Kulish and his value for the Ukrainian culture on the whole. His name many years not only was suppressed (his work was forbidden for the Ukrainian reader), and yet and wrong was trafficked, that inflicted incorrigible consequences for perception his descendants. Time to revive the invaluable forgotten treasures of not only Ukrainian literature but also culture came, therefore. To enter in a scientific appeal the epistolary achievements of Kulish as informative resource in the archives of Ukraine, that give an opportunity newly to read his folias and analyse pro-Europe conceptions of development of the Ukrainian culture and histories that are very actual in our stormy to us time . Actuality. In 1920th the considerable array of epistolary inheritance of Kulish is given out, that and put beginning to scientific approach in edition of epistolary texts of kulish. But, unfortunately, nobody more in detail is stopped on an aspect exactly of European principles of Kulish, that is formed on historical national soil: Ukraine is not only included in that but also creates him. The aim of the article consists in the scientific reconstruction of epistolary inheritance of Pantelejmon Kulish, Ukraine concentrated in archives, and also in the exposure of European principles, what creations of the Ukrainian national culture fixed in basis. Research methodology is based, first of all, on the methods of archive, and also on a biographic analysis (for the reconstruction of vital and creative way), on a historical analysis (for the recreation of chronologic limits in that there was correspondence between addressees), cultural and historical method (sent to the exposure of European principles of construction of Ukrainian society). The most vivid and significant in its consequences events in the history of the Kolka glacier are its paroxysmal catastrophic outburstsof 2002, 1902, and 1752 and not having an exact dating repeatedly occurred earlier. It is quite clear that such catastrophic pulsations of the Kolka glacier will occur in the future. In order to minimize the negative consequences of these pulsations, it is necessary first of all to forecast the time of their possible manifestation and to observe their precursors. As a result of the sudden gas-dynamic outburststhat occurred on September 20, 2002, the Kolka glacier was completely destroyed. Currently, the glacier is being restored. However, before acquiring the properties of an impermeable (gas-resistant) barrier (which depends on the rate of conversion of glacial firn accumulating into the ice bed), the manifestation of its next catastrophic pulsation is impossible. The time required for such a transformation is several decades (from the moment of firn accumulation in the composition of the glacial sequence).

According to modern literature, the frequency of preoperative diagnostic errors for tumour-like formations is 30.9–45.6%, for malignant ovarian tumors is 25.0–51.0%. The complexity of this situation is asymptomatic tumor in the ovaries and failure to identify a neoplastic process, which is especially important for young women, as well as ease the transition of tumors from one category to another (evolution of the tumor) and the source of the aggressive behavior of the tumor. The purpose of our study was to evaluate the history of concomitant gynecological pathology in a group of patients of reproductive age with ovarian tumors and tumoroid formations, as a predisposing factor for the development of neoplastic process in the ovaries. In our work, we collected and processed complaints and data of obstetric and gynecological anamnesis of 168 patients of reproductive age (18–40 years), operated on the basis of the Department of oncogynecology for tumors and ovarian tumours in the Samara Regional Clinical Oncology Dispensary from 2012 to 2015. We can conclude that since the prognosis of neoplastic process in the ovaries is generally good with timely detection and this disease occurs mainly in women of reproductive age, doctors need to know that when assessing the parity and the presence of gynecological pathology at the moment or in anamnesis, it is not possible to identify alarming risk factors for the development of cancer in the ovaries.

In Hungary one can mostly find references to the psychological processes of politics in the writings of publicists, public opinion pollsters, philosophers, social psychologists, and political analysts. It would be still important if not only legal scientists focusing on political institutions or sociologist-politologists concentrating on social structures could analyse the psychological aspects of political processes; but one could also do so through the application of the methods of political psychology. The authors review the history of political psychology, its position vis-à-vis other fields of science and the essential interfaces through which this field of science, which is still to be discovered in Hungary, connects to other social sciences. As far as its methodology comprising psycho-biographical analyses, questionnaire-based queries, cognitive mapping of interviews and statements are concerned, it is identical with the psychiatric tools of medical sciences. In the next part of this paper, the focus is shifted to the essence and contents of political psychology. Group dynamics properties, voters’ attitudes, leaders’ personalities and the behavioural patterns demonstrated by them in different political situations, authoritativeness, games, and charisma are all essential components of political psychology, which mostly analyses psychological-psychiatric processes and also involves medical sciences by relying on cognitive and behavioural sciences. This paper describes political psychology, which is basically part of social sciences, still, being an interdisciplinary science, has several ties to medical sciences through psychological and psychiatric aspects. This publication is devoted to one of the episodes of I. A. Ilyin’s activity in the period “between two revolutions”. Before the October revolution, the young philosopher was inspired by the events of February 1917 and devoted a lot of time to speeches and publications on the possibility of building a new order in the state. The published archive text indicates that the development of Ilyin’s doctrine “on legal consciousness” falls precisely at this tragic moment in the history of Russia.

The profound changes within the Albanian society, including Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia, before and after they proclaimed independence (in exception of Albania), with the establishment of the parliamentary system resulted in mass spread social negative consequences such as crime, drugs, prostitution, child beggars on the street etc. As a result of these occurred circumstances emerged a substantial need for changes within the legal system in order to meet and achieve the European standards or behaviors and the need for adoption of many laws imported from abroad, but without actually reading the factual situation of the psycho-economic position of the citizens and the consequences of the peoples’ occupations without proper compensation, as a remedy for the victims of war or peace in these countries. The sad truth is that the perpetrators not only weren’t sanctioned, but these regions remained an untouched haven for further development of criminal activities, be it from the public state officials through property privatization or in the private field. The organized crime groups, almost in all cases, are perceived by the human mind as “Mafia” and it is a fact that this cannot be denied easily. The widely spread term “Mafia” is mostly known around the world to define criminal organizations. The Balkan Peninsula is highly involved in these illegal groups of organized crime whose practice of criminal activities is largely extended through the Balkan countries such as Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Montenegro, etc. Many factors contributed to these strategic countries to be part of these types of activities. In general, some of the countries have been affected more specifically, but in all of the abovementioned countries organized crime has affected all areas of life, leaving a black mark in the history of these states.

On December 22, 2017 the Ukrainian Diplomatic Service marked the 100thanniversary of its establishment and development. In dedication to such a momentous event, the Department of International Relations of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University has published a book of IR Dept’s ardent activity since its establishment. It includes information both in Ukrainian and English on the backbone of the collective and their versatile activities, achievements and prospects for the future. The author delves into retracing the course of the history of Ukrainian Diplomacy formation and development. The author highlights the roots of its formation, reconsidering a long way of its development that coincided with the formation of basic elements of Ukrainian statehood that came into existence as a result of the war of national liberation – the Ukrainian Central Rada (the Central Council of Ukraine). Later, the Ukrainian or so-called State the Hetmanate was under study. The Directorat (Directory) of Ukraine, being a provisional collegiate revolutionary state committee of the Ukrainian People’s Republic, was given a thorough study. Of particular interest for the research are diplomatic activities of the West Ukrainian People`s Republic. Noteworthy, the author emphasizes on the Ukrainian Socialist Soviet Republic’s foreign policy, forced by the Bolshevist Russia. A further important implication is both the challenges of the Ukrainian statehood establishing and Ukraine’s functioning as a state, first and foremost, stemmed from the immaturity and conscience-unawareness of the Ukrainian society, that, ultimately, has led to the fact, that throughout the twentieth century Ukraine as a statehood, being incorporated into the Soviet Union, could hardly be recognized as a sovereign state. Our research suggests that since the beginning of the Ukrainian Diplomacy establishment and its further evolution, it used to be unprecedentedly fabricated and forged. On a wider level, the research is devoted to centennial fight of Ukraine against Russian violence and aggression since the WWI, when in 1917 the Russian Bolsheviks, headed by Lenin, started real Russian war against Ukraine. Apropos, in the about-a-year-negotiation run, Ukraine, eventually, failed to become sovereign. Remarkably, Ukraine finally gained its independence just in late twentieth century. Nowadays, Russia still regards Ukraine as a part of its own strategic orbit, waging out a carrot-and-stick battle. Keywords: The Ukrainian People’s Republic, the State of Ukraine, the Hetmanate, the Direcorat (Directory) of Ukraine, the West Ukrainian People`s Republic, the Ukrainian Socialist Soviet Republic, Ukraine, the Bolshevist Russia, the Russian Federation, Ukrainian diplomacy

AbstractBaffin Bay hosts the largest and most productive of the Arctic polynyas: the North Water (NOW). Despite its significance and active role in water mass formation, the history of the NOW beyond the observational era remains poorly known. We reconcile the previously unassessed relationship between long-term NOW dynamics and ocean conditions by applying a multiproxy approach to two marine sediment cores from the region that, together, span the Holocene. Declining influence of Atlantic Water in the NOW is coeval with regional records that indicate the inception of a strong and recurrent polynya from ~ 4400 yrs BP, in line with Neoglacial cooling. During warmer Holocene intervals such as the Roman Warm Period, a weaker NOW is evident, and its reduced capacity to influence bottom ocean conditions facilitated northward penetration of Atlantic Water. Future warming in the Arctic may have negative consequences for this vital biological oasis, with the potential knock-on effect of warm water penetration further north and intensified melt of the marine-terminating glaciers that flank the coast of northwest Greenland.
