Four species are reported for the first time in Benin, Carinoclytus cf. semiruber (Quedenfeldt, 1882), Chlorophorus deterrens (Pascoe, 1862), Denticerus muehlei Mourglia & Téocchi, 1994, and Plagionotulus sylvaticus Hintz, 1911; a new species is described, Calanthemis jossomonforti n. sp. In Togo, four species are known and Denticerus muehlei Mourglia & Téocchi, 1994, is reported for the first time. Plagionotulus sylvaticus Hintz, 1911, is cited from Ivory Coast for the first time. An identification key to species of Clytini from Benin and Togo is provided.

A New Species

Euschistus Dallas is comprised of 66 species in three subgenera. Species of the nominate subgenus occur mainly in Central and North America. Some groups of species have been proposed to Euschistus (Euschistus) based on general external and male genitalic morphologies. Here, we review the sulcacitus group providing illustrations and descriptions of the internal and external genitalia of both sexes, illustrating females for the first time. A new species, Euschistus (Euschistus) tacitus sp. nov. Bianchi & Grazia, from Mexico and Costa Rica is described. We also provide an identification key to species of the group.

The little-known bee genus Bathanthidium Mavromoustakis, 1953 of the family Megachilidae is reported for the first time from Vietnam. A new species, Bathanthidium (Bathanthidium s. str.) paco Tran & Nguyen, sp. nov. from Hoa Binh province is described and illustrated. A nest of the new species is reported from a wooden house. An updated identification key to all known species of the subgenus Bathanthidium s. str. is also provided.

Indian species of the genus Sakencyrtus Hayat are reviewed and illustrated. A new species, Sakencyrtus bialbifuniculus sp. nov., is described. The two species known from India, S. mirus Hayat and S. albiclavus Hayat, are redescribed. The macropterous forms and males of S. mirus are described for the first time. An identification key to species is provided.

A New Species

A review of species of the genus Blera Billberg, 1820 known from China is given. A new species, Blera longiseta sp. nov., is described. Three species, B. japonica (Shiraki, 1930), B. nitens (Stackelberg, 1923) and B. violovitshi Mutin, 1991, are recorded for the first time from China. An illustrated key to species is provided.

Two braconid genera from the subfamily Alysiinae, Lodbrokia Hedqvist, 1962 and Asyntactus Marshall, 1898, are recorded in the fauna of Russia and in the Asian continent for the first time. A new species Lodbrokia uralica sp. nov. is described from the Urals, and a key to species of this genus is provided. Redescriptions of the female and male of Asyntactus rhogaleus Marshall, 1898 with information about the level of variability of its morphological characters are given. Asyntactus sigalphoides Marshall, 1898 is synonymised with A. rhogaleus Marshall, 1898 (syn. nov.).

The genus Systenus Loew, 1857 is recorded from Afrotropical Region for the first time. A description of a new species, Systenus africanus Grichanov sp. nov., and notes on females of another probably new Afrotropical species are provided. The genus is considered now as cosmopolitan. A key to species and species groups of the Systenus worldwide is compiled.

Dichotomius (Dichotomius) quadrilobatus new species (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Scarabaeinae: Dichotomiini), from western Amazonia (Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru) is described and its putative systematic position within the Dichotomius boreus species group is discussed. The genus Yalvaciana Ciplak et.al (2002) is reported for the first time from India represented by a new species. Previously the genus comprised a single species, Yalvaciana yalvaci Demirsoy, (1974). Brief information about morphology, distribution and key to species are given. The Holotype has been deposited in the Museum of Zoology Department, AMU (ZDAMU).

A New Species

A new species of the chirostylid squat lobster genus Uroptychodes Baba, 2004, U. fuscilineatus, is described and illustrated on the basis of a single ovigerous female from the Uraga Channel, central Japan, at depth of 250 m. The new species appears most similar to U. spinimarginatus (Henderson, 1885) and U. yapensis Dong, Gan & Li, 2021 among the 13 known congeners, but is notable in the pereopod 2 not being definitely more slender than the pereopods 3 and 4 and the remarkably spinose pereopods 1–4. A possible association of the new species with crinoid is suggested. An updated identification key to species of Uroptychodes is presented.
