Using the theoretical knowledge of ergonomics, physiology, and psychology, carried out the humanized design of human body adaptive sports equipment; using the theoretical knowledge of modeling, color, material science and other related disciplines, proposed the human body adaptive sports equipment Humanized design method. Aiming at the fuzziness of the industrial design of human adaptive sports equipment, fuzzy mathematics theory is used as an analysis tool, combined with the actual characteristics of the industrial design of human adaptive sports equipment, focusing on the nature of industrial design under fuzzy theory. Comprehensive analysis and understanding of design-related factors, and the introduction of expert survey method in the case of no basic data source in innovative design, to obtain the weight value of single factor influence, this will help designers grasp the main contradiction, achieve a targeted, and Solve key problems with higher efficiency. Subsequent use of fuzzy mathematics tools to put forward a quantitative index for the selection of options, which will help analyze the pros and cons of the various options, so as to provide a reliable reference for decision makers. This method makes up for the shortcomings of traditional methods in the process of design factor analysis and program selection.

BACKGROUND Last decade has shown a considerable increase in the amount of mobile health applications (mHealth apps) in everyday life. These mHealth apps have the potential to significantly improve well-being for chronically ill patients. However, behavioral engagement with mHealth apps remains low. OBJECTIVE The aim of this study is to provide insight into the behavioral engagement of adults with chronic conditions with mHealth apps by investigating (1) how it is affected by human-related factors (here, physician motivation) and app-related factors (here, app integration) and (2) how it affects their well-being. Supplementary, this study considers the moderating effect of preference for traditional visits to the physician (habit) and experience in app use (app experience) by the patients. METHODS A scenario based experiment among patients with a chronic condition (n= 521) was carried out. A Bayesian SEM model with mediation and moderation analysis was conducted in MPlus. RESULTS Both physician motivation for mHealth app use and mHealth app integration have a positive effect on the behavioral engagement of chronically ill patients towards mHealth apps. Higher behavioral engagement positively influences the hedonic and eudaimonic well-being of chronically ill patients. App experience positively moderates the relationship between app integration and behavioral engagement. A patients’ habit with receiving traditional care does not moderate the relationship between physician motivation and behavioral engagement. CONCLUSIONS The human and design factor play a key role in behavioral engagement and well-being among patients with a chronic condition. During and after the development of a mHealth app, app integration and physician motivation should be a point of attention.

"For both Gadamer’s project of a philosophical hermeneutics as for Heidegger’s early understanding of facticity (Faktizität) as practical knowledge, the problem of application is central and is always linked to the specific conditions under which an individual decides to act within a community. Both also agree on the fact that the sciences of man do involve more than the epistemic subject, this is why the context i.e. the phenomenological concept of ‘world’ becomes part of the understanding process, one that cannot be ignored or transformed into an abstract matter. Understanding is therefore also in a specific way ‘historical’, as the application is dictated by momentary circumstances in life situations, which come before any use of theoretical knowledge and thus do not represent an appendix to theory. While Gadamer continuously insisted on the idea of a practical knowledge (Wissen) that surpasses the separations between theory and praxis, sophia and phronesis, Heidegger radicalized the idea of active thinking as an experience of language in connection to an essential ‘perception’ of Being itself, that goes beyond any subjectivity. The term by which he often characterizes this essential thinking (wesentliches Denken) is Vernehmen: a kind of receptive thinking. This conception of receptive thinking, as some conversations around the Zollikon Seminars and Le Thor/Zähringen will briefly show, lead Heidegger also to some interesting considerations on the human body. This study aims to examine differences in perceptions between teaching accountants, accounting students, and accountants on the ethics of preparing financial statements. Ethical indicators for the preparation of financial statements are represented in earnings management, misstatements, disclosures, cost-benefits, and responsibilities. This research was conducted at universities and public accounting firms in Semarang. This research was conducted with a survey method of 70 respondents from teaching accountants, 75 accounting students, and 40 accountants respondents at universities and public accounting firms in Semarang. As an analysis tool, ANOVA is used for hypotheses H1, H2, H3, and H4. Before testing the hypothesis, first the validity and reliability tests are carried out for all the questionnaires that have been collected. Validity and reliability tests show that all data are valid and reliable. Then the questionnaire was tested by ANOVA and strengthened by the Independent Sample T Test. Anova results show that there are differences in perceptions between teaching accountants, accounting students and accountants. However, there was no difference in perceptions between teaching accountants and accountants. Therefore it can be concluded that there are differences in perceptions between teaching accountants, accounting students, and accountants on the ethics of preparing financial statements.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effect of variable communication, resources, disposition and organizational structure for program implementation RPJMD West Kutai 2011-2015, either partially or simultaneously. Type of this research is quantitative research. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression. In this study using survey methods explanation (explanatory survey method) is a survey that explains the variables under study and further analyze the influence between variables accompanied by hypothesis testing. This research was conducted by collecting qualitative data, which will then be presented in the form of numbers (quantified) to be tested in accordance with the design verification of data analysis. The results showed the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.421. There is significant influence between independent variables namely communication, resources, disposition and organizational structure for program implementation RPJMD West Kutai 2011-2015.Keyword: Implementation RPJMD, Communication, Resources

Housing is one of the most important needs of individuals next to food and clothing. Housing needs for low income earners has reached an alarming stage in Nigeria. On the supply side, numerous government policies have earlier aimed at disabling the massive shortage through numerous housing reform programmes. Despite these preceding efforts, housing remains an illusion to an average Nigerian. This research assessed the effect of government policy on housing delivery in Nigeria. The objectives were to determine housing needs of the low income group in Nigeria and to determine the impact of government policies on affordable housing provision to the low income group. Survey method was used to collect data from 44 respondents through the administration of questionnaires which was analyzed with statistical tools. The findings from the study shows that insufficient fund is closely related to other finance related factors identified as barriers to the accessibility of public housing by the low income group who are non-public servants. Such factors as high interest rate, low per capita income, lack of security of income, lack of collateral and high cost of public houses. The study suggest the creation of a viable secondary mortgage market, improvement of land registration and allocation, compassionate urban renewal programmes, cost saving house designs amongst others.

<em>Research objectives to determine whether talent, semangat and online business    (e-commerce) affect the performance of the Industrial Small community, East Jakarta. This type of research uses a quantitative approach. The survey method used was through distributing questionnaires to business owners in the east Jakarta area. The technique of determining the number of samples used the Slovin formula, the sampling used was simple random sampling. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that the variables of talent, semangat, online business (e-commerce) as a whole partially or simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the performance.</em>

PurposeThe purpose of this study is to investigate the uses of performance measures in startup firms, including perceived importance and performance of those measures. Design/methodology/approachThe survey method is used in this study. Data are collected from founders/chief executive officers/managers of 110 startups in Thailand. The correlation analysis and analysis of variance techniques are used as the analysis tool in this study. FindingsThe results show that there is a positive relationship between the perceived importance and the performance of each metric. However, no significant differences are found in the importance and performance of each metric among the various stages of startups. Research limitations/implicationsBecause there are so few startups compared to large corporations, the sample size of this study is relatively small, which is a limitation for some statistical tests. Practical implicationsStartup should measure and monitor the correct metrics in a particular stage, instead of trying to perform well in all areas, which will lead them to lose focus, and possibly even fail. Results obtained from this study will aid startups in properly monitoring and managing their performance. Originality/valueUnlike large corporations, the performance measures used by startups vary, and depend on a startup’s stage and type. Because of the fact that there are much fewer startups than large corporations, there are a limited number of studies in this area. This research is among the first studies that try to investigate the uses of performance measure for this new type of organizations.

Thin metallic shells have long been adopted as major structural components in weight-sensitive applications, especially in marine engineering. Imperfection sensitive buckling is a critical design factor when these structures are loaded in compression. Traditional experimental design method depends on deriving lower bounds to the scatter of large sets of test results. This paper aims to present an analytical approach, the so-called reduced stiffness method (RSM) to the lower-bound buckling of thin-metallic shells. The validity of the RSM for the prediction of the safe lower bounds to the buckling of thin shells is verified through carefully controlled finite element analysis and the comparative studies confirm the reliability of the RSM.

Considering the demands for product ergonomics design, the paper proposed a driven design method for product’s shape and structure design through the manipulation of human body models. Based on the anthropometry data, a parametric human body driving model system is established with three layers, which are structure model, dimension model and surface model. The driven design method of product ergonomics design is realized, in which human body data are directly mapped to product design parameters. The driven design method provides a rational way to utilize ergonomics design principles and guarantee higher efficiency and more reliability. The method is tested in seat design examples.

Immortal products are updated and upgraded to go from application to application and, in so doing, to extend their life as long as possible. Designing such products is the key to a sustainable society from the circular economy perspective. It is a new way of designing that must be supported by engineering tools to be deployed in companies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) included. The implementation of circular loops and the associated industrial systems are very dependent on the contexts and life scenarios of the products. Thus, depending on the products to be re-circulated, the processes controlled, and the actors involved, the requirements to be reported at design level are very diverse. This paper proposes a new design method based on lifecycle scenarios to be analyzed and designed. Supported by classical engineering tools that has been adapted for circular economy (CE) context, the lifecycle model enables simultaneous design of businesses, products and services and the evaluation of their environmental values. Three industrial design cases showing the application of engineering tools for implementation of CE lifecycle scenarios are presented.
