This paper summarizes the development and evolution from digital mock-up (DMU) to digital twin (DT) by clarifying the connotation of DT from prospective of digital product definition (DPD). Firstly, taking Airbus as example, the evolution of DMU is introduced, with the detailed analysis of configured DMU, functional DMU, and industrial DMU. Secondly, based on the literature review of DT, the definition, purpose and several applications of DT concept are clearly expounded. Finally, the augmentation for DT and DPD’s relationship are deduced.

Abstract Forty-three patients with chronic pain disorders of different causes were selected for spinal cord stimulation. All underwent implantation of a ribbon electrode through a small laminotomy, under general anesthesia. Thirteen patients (30%) failed to obtain significant pain relief during a period of trial stimulation, and their electrodes were removed. The remainder underwent a definitive implant and were followed for a mean of 13 months (range, 3-33 months). Nineteen of them (63%) continued to experience pain relief. A detailed analysis of this series, as well as a literature review, is presented.

Sustainable development was defined by the UN in 1987 as development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, and this is a core concept in this paper. This work acknowledges the three dimensions of sustainability, i.e., economic, social, and environmental, but its focus is on this last one. A digital twin (DT) is frequently described as a physical entity with a virtual counterpart, and the data, connections between the two, implying the existence of connectors and blocks for efficient and effective data communication. This paper provides a meta systematic literature review (SLR) (i.e., an SLR of SLRs) regarding the sustainability requirements of DT-based systems. Numerous papers on the subject of DT were also selected because they cited the analyzed SLRs and were considered relevant to the purposes of this research. From the selection and analysis of 29 papers, several limitations and challenges were identified: the perceived benefits of DTs are not clearly understood; DTs across the product life cycle or the DT life cycle are not sufficiently studied; it is not clear how DTs can contribute to reducing costs or supporting decision-making; technical implementation of DTs must be improved and better integrated in the context of the IoT; the level of fidelity of DTs is not entirely evaluated in terms of their parameters, accuracy, and level of abstraction; and the ownership of data stored within DTs should be better understood. Furthermore, from our research, it was not possible to find a paper discussing DTs only in regard to environmental sustainability.

In order to construct the frame-work of digital product definition for airplane lifecycle, the basic theory and technical hierarchy of the definition of 3D full-information model have been introduced, and the corresponding full-information model is established in the tree method. The result of this work will be the transforming power from traditional manufacturing to digital manufacturing pat-tern.

Education and art movements, which are common development and evolution tools for societies, have been affected by communities as much as they have affected one another. This affection, continues in a supporting way for decades just as in the spring of 1945; Reggio Emilia Schools was started by the natives of the small village, called Villa Cella (located in 50 kilometers northwest of Reggio Emilia region), building a school for the infants, and gone well beyond being a socialist based dream of Malaguzzi becoming common pre-school institutions of the modern day. Just as Cubism which signifies the geometric objects which are able to present the topic with its different aspects simultaneously. The research, aims to reveal 'a breeze' of Cubism at the Reggio Emilia Schools as an example of "mirror triangle". As for the methodology, literature review orientated for the art movement and education; descriptive method of the non-experimental pedagogical research .

In the process of architectural design, there is no special method employed by architects to evaluate buildings’ structural vulnerability and building geometry form designs towards earthquakes. Therefore, the alternative is adapting the existing method called SVA-Retrofit. JBDPA and Matsutaro Seki developed this method, and then the author adapted this method now called SVA Architectural Design. In the process of adaptation, deep literature review was conducted in order to acquire the adaptation results of the SVA-Architectural Design. These results can furthermore be an early prediction of structural vulnerability toward earthquakes that eventually leads to finding solutions for building designs or conducting detailed analysis done by structure experts.

Based on the extensive literature review and original observations, a detailed analysis of the modern geographical distribution of pasture forage associations of the European white stork Ciconia ciconia ciconia with large herbivorous mammals and agricultural machinery is presented. Associations of the white stork with land and harvesting agricultural machinery are evaluated as anthropogenic modifications of forage behavior. The historical and geographical aspect of the origin of feedingr associations of the white stork with wild herbivorous mammals and livestock is considered. The hypothesis of independent African, Middle Eastern and European origin of pasture forage associations of the white stork is proposed.
