The aim of the present study was to assess the impact of an «ecological farm» approach to improve the lives of the populations, as well as the conditions and management of natural resources. The study was conducted by means of surveys with key actors, the analysis of data from monitoring the ecological farms and field observations.

English Title: Farmers' Perceptions of lowland's natural resources degradation in Sudano Sahelian area: case of Nakanbe-Dem Sub-Watershed in Burkina FasoThe Burkina Faso Sahel is characterized by a great degradation of natural resources. This regression is due to natural and anthropogenic factors. This study concerns the lowlands of the Nakanbé-Dem sub-watershed, located in the northern limit of the Sahel. In this area dominated by rain farming and extensive livestock, wetlands are very important. In this context of continuous lowlands degradation, the participation of communities is necessary for a sustainable management. This study analyses the local indicators of lowlands’ degradation in Sudano-Sahelian zone. Data from semi-structured surveys were collected from 325 farmers in six lowlands of Nakanbé-Dem sub-watershed. Descriptive statistics and correspondence factor analysis (CFA) were applied. The results show that farmers clearly perceive the degradation of the lowlands. Farmers use meteorological, floristic and physical elements to characterize the state of lowlands degradation. The loss of several species and the appearance of ubiquitous species allow them to assess the degradation of the lowlands. These local indicators vary according to sex and education level. Farmers also apprehend degraded lowlands flora reshaping and identify taxa indicative of lowland ecosystems health. The study highlighted the importance of the endogenous knowledge in the analysis of lowlands’ degradation. It suggests the need to take into account local indicators in the implementation of lowlands’ restoration techniques. Keywords: endogenous indicators, lowlands degradation, perception, Watershed, Burkina Faso.

An investigation of the impact of policies of the natural resources on Madagascar uncovered a number of deficiencies. A widely recommended participative approach is reaching its limits. The impartiality of the actors involved is at stake. Illicit product networks play an important role in the redistribution of commercial income. Strategies that weaken the role of the state should be reversed.

Green beans cultivation technology using mice pets control has been implemented in the Gluranploso village, Benjeng Gresik. The implementation of the technology performed for 2.5 months from August to October 2017. The purpose of the implementation is aimed to reduce the dependence of farmers on the use of chemical pesticides so that the farmers are aware of the negative impact of chemical pesticides. Assessing the impact of the utilization of Bintaro fruit and fruit extracts to explore ways of making Bintaro as a natural biopesticide to overcome rat attack on green bean plants in the Gluranploso village. Pest control mice can reduce the rate of loss of the crops more effectively and efficiently. Finally, with the use of those natural resources as a biopesticide material can also maintain the environmental balance

The paper presents a numerical modeling study aimed at a preliminary assessment of the impact of the planned sea outfall of the city of Limassol, Cyprus, on the waters of Akrotiri bay. First the local meteorological and oceanographic conditions as well as the loading characteristics are briefly reviewed. Two-dimensional finite element hydrodynamic and dispersion models are subsequently applied to the study area. The results of the former show an eastbound flow pattern under the prevailing westerly winds, in general agreement with available field observations. The spread of BOD and N under continuous loading is then examined for eastward as well as for westward flow as an indicator for the extent of pollution to be expected. The computed concentrations are generally low and confined to the shallower parts of the bay.

The article presents the results of astrophysical studies of the Moon’s reflected and intrinsic radiation. We studied the intensity of the Moon’s infrared radiation and, thus, carried out a detailed research of the brightness temperature of the Moon’s visible disc, estimated the thermal inertia of the coating substance by the rate of its surface cooling, and the degree of the lunar soil fragmentation. Polarimetric, colorimetric and spectrophotometric measurements of the reflected radiation intensity were carried out at different wavelengths. In the article, we present maps prepared based on our measurement results. We conducted theresearch of the unique South Pole – Aitken basin (SPA). The altitude profiles of the Apollo-11 and Zond-8 spacecrafts and the data of laser altimeters of the Apollo-16 and Apollo-15 spacecrafts were used as the main material. Basing upon this data we prepared a hypsometric map of SPA-basing global relief structure. A surface topography map of the Moon’s Southern Hemisphere is given in the article. The topography model of the SPA topography surface shows displacement centers of the altitude topographic rims from the central rim. Basing upon the detailed study of the basin’s topography as well as its “depth-diameter” ratio we suggest that the basin originated from the impact of a giant cometary body from the Orta Cloud. In our works, we consider the Moon as a part of the Earth’s space infrastructure. High growth rates of the Earth’s population, irrational nature management will cause deterioration of scarce natural resources in the near future. In our article, we present maps of the natural resources on the Moon pointing out the most promising regions of thorium, iron, and titanium. Probably in 20 or 40 years a critical mining level of gold, diamonds, zinc, platinum and other vital rocks and metals will be missing on the Earth.
