<p><em>The objectives of research were (1) to find out the forms of modelling in Personality Competency of Civic Education teacher in SMP Negeri 1 Mojolaban, and (2) to find out the implication of Civic Education teacher’s modelling to creating the students’ discipline character in SMP Negeri 1 Mojolaban. This research employed a qualitative research approach, with descriptive qualitative research type. Data source derived from informant, place, event, and document. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling one. Techniques of collecting data used were interview, observation, and document analysis. Data validation was carried out using data and method triangulations. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model of analysis.  Considering the result of research, the following conclusions could be drawn. (1) The forms of role model in personality competency of Civic Education teacher were as follows: The personality of a disciplined teacher, democratic, patient, tolerant, broad-insight teacher personalities. (2) The implication of Civic Education teachers to the creation of students’ discipline character was as follows: the students could receive and imitate one of Civic Education teachers’  modelling, indicated with their coming early to classroom when the lesson began, students completing school attribute and uniform, students attending the lesson in the classroom and no truancy, students always attending flag ceremony, and maintaining the cleanliness at school. However, role model is the most decisive factor in creating the students’ discipline; it could be seen from the students showing the discipline character only in the classroom Civic Education teachers class VII while the other teacher’s class had not shown the discipline character yet.   </em></p><p><em> </em></p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><em> Personality Competency, Civic Education, Modelling, Discipline                                      Chara</em>

ENGLISHThe background of this research is lower competency of teacher in SMK Negeri 3 Pati in preparing lesson plans character. Academic supervisions in SMK Negeri 3 Pati are conducted in order to improve the competency of teacher in preparing lesson plans character. The research subjects are the Islamic education teacher of grade X, the social science teacher of grade XII, the civic education teacher of grade X, the Indonesian language teacher of grade XI and the English language teacher of grade XI. This research method is descriptive with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The data are collected through documentation, observation, interviews and assignments. The research is designed through two cycles with procedure: (1) planning; (2) the action executions; (3) observation; and (4) reflection. The result shows that teacher’s competency increases indicated by: 1) the average score for the first cycle is 71 rated "good"; and 2) the average score for the second cycle is 90 rated "very good". The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the academic supervision can improve the competency of teacher in preparing the lesson plans character in SMK Negeri 3 Pati. INDONESIAPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan rendahnya kompetensi guru dalam menyusun RPP berkarakter. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, dilakukan supervisi akademik yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun RPP berkarakter. Subjek penelitian adalah guru mata pelajaran Pendidikan agama Islam kelas X, Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial kelas XII, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan kelas X, Bahasa Indonesia Kelas XI dan Bahasa Inggris kelas XI. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara dan penugasan. Desain penelitian dirancang melalui dua siklus dengan prosedur: 1) Perencanaan; 2) Pelaksanaan tindakan; 3) Pengamatan; dan 4) Refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi, untuk siklus I sebesar 71 poin dinilai “baik” dan siklus II sebesar 90 poin dinilai “sangat baik”. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi akademik dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun RPP berkarakter di SMK Negeri 3 Pati.

This study aims to identify lessons the values of Pancasila in Civic Education Subject at SMP Pancasila Palangka Raya that the learning plan of Pancasila values in the subjects of civic education, the implementation process of learning and assessment conducted byCivic Education teacher. This type of research is qualitative. The subjects were Headmaster, Teacher and Students Civic Education. Data collection techniques in this study using interviews, observation and documentation. The technique of validating data in this study using the extension of the observation time, increase persistence and triangulation. Data analysis using data reduction, data display and data verification. The results of this research are teachers’ prepared syllabus and lesson plans developed by MGMP. Implementation of learning activities are divided into three sections beginning, core and closing. Teacher usesmany variety of models in each lesson, such as teaching models the values in the form: 1) the direct teaching of such a discussion; 2) the inclusion of students such as role play, simulations and discussions; 3) critical pedagogy as expressing their opinions. Assessment conducted by the Civic Education teacher at SMP Pancasila Palangka Raya not written tests, oral tests, aspects of the assessment consists of attitude, liveliness, insight, discipline, the ability to express opinions and cooperation. Keywords: Learning, the values of Pancasila, Civic Education Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pembelajaran nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di SMP Pancasila Palangka Raya yaitu perencanaan pembelajaran nilai- nilai pancasila dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan kewarganegaraan, proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan penilaian yang dilakukan oleh guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala sekolah, Guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dan Siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan perpanjangan pengamatan waktu, meningkatkan ketekunan dan triangulasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian pembelajaran nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di SMP Pancasila Palangka Raya dalam perencanaan pembelajaran guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sudah menyiapkan silabus dan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dibagi menjadi tiga bagian kegiatan awal, inti dan penutup. Guru menggunakan berbagai model yang bervariasi dalam setiap pembelajarannya, seperti model pengajaran nilai-nilai dalam bentuk 1) pengajaran langsung seperti diskusi 2) pelibatan siswa seperti bermain peran, simulasi dan berdiskusi 3) pedagogi kritis seperti mengemukakan pendapat. Penilaian yang dilakukan oleh guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di SMP Pancasila Palangka Raya bukan hanhya tes tertulis, tes lisan, aspek penilaian terdiri dari sikap, keaktifan, wawasan, kedisiplinan, kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat dan kerjasama. In order to build a good and secure society, people should believe in civic engagement and participation. Citizenship education should begin at a very young age and continue into adulthood as a process of lifelong learning. Hence, the present paper aims at examining the extent to which EFL textbooks at secondary level are civically oriented using a descriptive content analysis. It is also meant to identify how the concept of the “good citizen” is implemented through course units of the textbook. The paper will draw important implications for syllabus designers, and teachers. Policy makers are also required to incorporate an effective implementation approach of civic education in Moroccan National textbooks so that future generations will be aware of their rights, responsibilities and their full commitment toward the community at large.

Civic education contains material on law and politics. However, the fact have shown there are constraints faced by the teachers’ during the learning process due to the lack of knowledge, mastery, and understanding materials, especially regarding to the law material. Therefore, reinforcement at law material to civic education teacher is needed to support the learning process and achievement of civic education goals. As an effort to reinforcement law materials mastery and understanding, Law and Citizenship Research Group, Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University and MGMP PPKn, Sragen Regency, collaborated on mentoring civic education teachers through a community service program. The aims of this community service program are to: 1) enhance the knowledge, mastery, and understanding civic education teachers in law materials, 2) reinforce civic education teachers’ capacity to be a professional teacher. The benefit of this community service program is the sustainability of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, i.e. education, research, and community service program. The final results of this program is produce professional civic education teachers’ accordingly professional teachers’ competence based on the regulation about the Role of teacher and Lecturer (Undang-Undang No 14 Tahun) in 2005
