We report the clinical presentation and CT and MR imaging findings in a child with an unusual first branchial apparatus fistula that extends from the external auditory canal to the oropharynx.

<p><strong>Objective. </strong>The hypermobile lateral meniscus of the knee is a rarely described entity. In this case report we aim to draw attention to the clinical presentation and MR imaging findings of this pathology.</p><p><strong>Case Report. </strong>We review the clinical and imaging findings that led to the diagnosis of hypermobile lateral meniscus with transient subluxation causing intermittent locking, and which subsequently led to successful surgical treatment.</p><p><strong>Conclusion. </strong>Hypermobile lateral meniscus is rarely diagnosed prospectively on MR imaging. A better understanding of this uncommon condition will lead to prompt diagnosis and effective treatment, with a better outcome for the patient.</p>

The diagnosis of a navicular fracture is difficult and often delayed due to a nonspecific clinical presentation and subtle imaging findings. Initial radiographs are often negative. Historically isotope bone scans were recommended, but now CT and MR imaging are suggested due to the higher specificity. Imaging of both feet allows internal comparison and may also detect an asymptomatic or unsuspected contralateral fracture. CT is a reliable indicator of fracture healing. The imaging evidence of fracture healing usually lags behind the clinical picture.
