The paper suggests an approach to modeling the electrocoagulation process that is based on the generalization of the equations of incompressible fluid flow in nonisothermal conditions. In the model was taking into account the ratio between the values of the parameters which characterize the domination of convective and mass-exchange components of the process over diffusion. An asymptotic approximation of solutions of corresponding boundary value problems is constructed. Based on the received solutions, we conducted a computer simulation of the process of distribution of iron concentration inside the reactor that allows predicting various hydrodynamic phenomena such as internal recirculation and dead zones that affect the formation of a coagulant. The influence of current strength on the concentration of the target component at the exit from the reactor was investigated using the developed mathematical model. In addition, our findings also show the effect of the rate of heat formation from the electrodes on the efficiency of obtaining of coagulant.

For low-temperature conditions, the municipal sewage plant on the low removal efficiency of endocrine disrupting chemicals, We are the investigation of endocrine disrupting chemicals in a sewage plant of Changchun City. The results showed that the water contains contaminants 2,4,6-Tris[Bis(Methoxymethyl)Amino]-1,3,5-Triazine, the substance is endocrine disruptors chemicals, it is more harmful to the environment. In addition, Out of the water contains Triethylphosphate, it is the metabolites of organ phosphorus pesticides, it also has a greater impact on the environment, they should be targeted pollutants, focusing on removal of sewage under low temperature conditions for the effective removal of EDCs to provide theoretical guidance.

As a result of commissioning of rainwater treatment installation at the Adler sewage treatment plants in Sochi its signifi cant design disadvantages are revealed. Thin layer tank unit doesnt meet project requirements. Computer hydrodynamic model of an existing plant is built to obtain the coefficient of volume usage. Also design changes that improve the performance of the installation are proposed and simulated.

This paper describes the procedures used in the company Micromazza PMP to undertake the effluent treatment of the test by liquid penetrant inspection (LPI) used for the detection of cracks and micro cracks invisible to the naked eye in metallic products. It was used the Fenton reaction combined with electrocoagulation process to replace the impurities removal system with activated carbon. After the decontamination of the wastewater, the sludge was removed dehydrated and led to the landfill. The recovered water was odorless and colorless. The improvement in some quality standards analyzed as true color, COD and turbidity , was 99.36 % , 88.98 % and 99.34%, respectively. Due to the use of iron electrodes for the realization of the electrocoagulation process, a 15% increase in iron concentration in the effluent happened, howevert his does not exceeded the quality standards defined in CONAMA Resolution No. 430/2011.The results demonstrate that the process was efficient for the decontamination of wastewater arising from this quality control test (LPI).

A comparative study for the COD removal of Chlorpyrifos, Fenitrothion (3%) and Acetamiprid (20%) by electrocoagulation process was performed. The effect of various parameters of electrocoagulation (EC) on removal efficiency was studied and optimized. The COD removal using nonpolar iron electrodes was affected by current density, contact time, initial pH and initial concentration of pesticides. The optimum conditions for the electrocoagulation process were identified as contact time (4, 5 and 10 min), for a maximum abatement of 100 mg/L pesticide solution, respectively. The results provide an important idea for the development electrocoagulation process to remove pesticides significantly along with COD removal using moderate iron concentration, thereby lowering the cost of treatment. Moreover, results show that the pesticide was removal quickly with a maximum rate of 87% for the contact time of 4 min, which revealed that pesticides wastewater can be treated using electrocoagulation.

This paper presents some aspects regarding modelling of heat and mass exchange at burning of droplet of water-oil emulsion (WOE). Based on nonstationary differential equations of conservation of energy and matter in the liquid and gaseous phases, it was formulated a physical and mathematical model of heat and mass exchange in system of WOE drop-elementary gas cell. Unlike other models, in this model is taken into account the dependence of thermo physical properties of phase by temperature. The heating, micro explosion, vaporization and combustion stages of droplet burning were considered. For numerical solution and computer simulation of mathematical model has been developed an algorithm in Mathcad14 software. The numerical results were validated experimentally.
