Purpose Background modelling has played an imperative role in the moving object detection as the progress of foreground extraction during video analysis and surveillance in many real-time applications. It is usually done by background subtraction. This method is uprightly based on a mathematical model with a fixed feature as a static background, where the background image is fixed with the foreground object running over it. Usually, this image is taken as the background model and is compared against every new frame of the input video sequence. In this paper, the authors presented a renewed background modelling method for foreground segmentation. The principal objective of the work is to perform the foreground object detection only in the premeditated region of interest (ROI). The ROI is calculated using the proposed algorithm reducing and raising by half (RRH). In this algorithm, the coordinate of a circle with the frame width as the diameter is considered for traversal to find the pixel difference. The change in the pixel intensity is considered to be the foreground object and the position of it is determined based on the pixel location. Most of the techniques study their updates to the pixels of the complete frame which may result in increased false rate; The proposed system deals these flaw by controlling the ROI object (the region only where the background subtraction is performed) and thus extracts a correct foreground by exactly categorizes the pixel as the foreground and mines the precise foreground object. The broad experimental results and the evaluation parameters of the proposed approach with the state of art methods were compared against the most recent background subtraction approaches. Moreover, the efficiency of the authors’ method is analyzed in different situations to prove that this method is available for real-time videos as well as videos available in the 2014 challenge change detection data set. Design/methodology/approach In this paper, the authors presented a fresh background modelling method for foreground segmentation. The main objective of the work is to perform the foreground object detection only on the premeditated ROI. The region for foreground extraction is calculated using proposed RRH algorithm. Most of the techniques study their updates to the pixels of the complete frame which may result in increased false rate; most challenging case is that, the slow moving object is updated quickly to detect the foreground region. The anticipated system deals these flaw by controlling the ROI object (the region only where the background subtraction is performed) and thus extracts a correct foreground by exactly categorizing the pixel as the foreground and mining the precise foreground object. Findings Plum Analytics provide a new conduit for documenting and contextualizing the public impact and reach of research within digitally networked environments. While limitations are notable, the metrics promoted through the platform can be used to build a more comprehensive view of research impact. Originality/value The algorithm used in the work was proposed by the authors and are used for experimental evaluations.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of prestige sensitivity on mobile phone customer’s price acceptance in Vietnam and the mediating role of product knowledge and price mavenism on this relationship. We used the convenience sampling method for data collection via questionnaires with a sample of 605 consumers who purchased mobile phones. The collected data was analysed by applying a structural equation modelling method. The result indicates that prestige sensitivity has both direct and indirect effects on price acceptance via product knowledge and price mavenism. The findings suggest that prestige sensitivity can be used as a market segmentation criterion for mobile phones when making price decisions and providing customers with adequate information could improve price acceptance.

Steady-state modelling method for matrix-reactance frequency converter with boost topologyThis paper presents a method intended for calculation of steady-state processes in AC/AC three-phase converters that are described by nonstationary periodical differential equations. The method is based on the extension of nonstationary differential equations and the use of Galerkin's method. The results of calculations are presented in the form of a double Fourier series. As an example, a three-phase matrix-reactance frequency converter (MRFC) with boost topology is considered and the results of computation are compared with a numerical method.

A modelling approach that will facilitate an in-depth understanding of the interactions of the different phenomena, human interactions and environmental factors constituting real world industrial processes is presented. An important industrial system such as Gas Processing Unit (GPU) have inter-related internal process activities coexisting with external events and requires a real time inter-disciplinary approach to model them. This modeling framework is based on identifying as modules, the part of processes that have interactions and can be considered active participants in overall behaviour. The selected initial set of modules are structured as Petri net models and made to interact iteratively to provide process states of the system. The modeling goal is accomplished by identifying the evolution of the process states as a means of effective representation of the actual running of the industrial process. The paper discusses the function and the implementation of the modelling method as applicable to the industrial case of GPU.

Applications of modern terminal loads and its relevant disadvantages are described in this paper. The decomposing method of wideband microwave high power microstrip loads design is proposed in this paper with purpose of matching quality improving. Multiple extension of multistage load bandwidth is provided by using of external matching circuit and internal matching inductive elements. The maximum reachable bandwidth of multistage load is estimated and optimal values of mathing circuit elements are founded on basis of equivalent lumped scheme. The topology of microstrip two-stage high power microwave load is developed and its frequency response, calculated via numeric electrodynamic modelling method is outlined in the paper. Modelling results show good matching quality of considered load at the frequency band below 3,5 GHz.

E-commerce is process of doing business through computer networks. Advances in wireless network technology and the continuously increasing number of users of mobile latter on make an ideal platform for offering various high utilityservices in just a snap of a finger to the mobile users and give pace to the rapid development of E-Commerce in India.E-commerce is considered an excellent alternative for companies to reach new customersbut the fact that has hindered the growth of e-commerce is security. Security is the challenge facing e-commerce today and there is still a lot of advancement made in the field of securityfor increasing the use of e-commerce in developing countries the B2B e-commerce is implemented for improving access to global markets for firms in developing countries. With the special characteristics and constraints of mobile terminals and wireless networks and the context, situations and circumstances that people use their hand-held terminalswhich will ultimately fuel explosive ecommerce growth in India This paper highlights the various key challenges and opportunities which Indian e-commerce industry may face in the upcoming years. And also discuss challenges in electronic commerce transactions.
