This article is devoted to an analysis of the autobiographical experience of emigration in Alexander Galich’s poetry. Galich’s poetic texts are able to reflect the state of the writing subject, revealing to the reader the depth of his feelings and emotions and showing the features of his intimate world. The lyrics of Galich, an emigrant, are full of autobiographical experience and are rich in the “exile” time-spatial component associated with the author’s biography. In formal-compositional terms, his poems are distinguished by a broken harmony and integrity. However, as life experience showed, emigration turned out to be a serious test for the writer, leaving an indelible mark on his psyche and creative legacy.

Incarceration is a traumatic life experience for both convicted and non-convicted individuals and life in prison is not easy to get through. However, prison administrations often establish different avenues for the prisoners to help them navigate through their incarceration. One such avenue is prison libraries. This study explores the influence of the prison library in the lives of eight incarcerated individuals, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The study is based on the concept of the ‘whole person librarianship’ while using a phenomenological approach. The analysis resulted in the emergence of three broad themes: ‘Coming to term with incarceration’, ‘Library, a ray of hope’ and ‘Reinventing self through books’. The study expands our understanding of how the prison library can be a place that reduces stress and increases positive mental health by serving the ‘whole person’. Furthermore, it reduces stress and anxiety related to the state of liminality created by incarceration and gives inmates a purpose beyond prison. Thus, it helps them in making meaning of their situation, being mindful of themselves and their surroundings, healing them in the process, and supports their well-being. The findings suggest that books help the inmates to navigate their lives during incarceration.

The great spread of the plague in the Arab countries and the severity of their fear of it and their feeling of helplessness in the face of its oppression made them attribute it to the jinn, and they preferred to live in the arid desert over the countries that they saw as humid as the Levant, fleeing from it because they believed that it was abundant in them, so the abundance of his names to them, perhaps the most prominent thing that appeared in the poetry of the plague is an emotion Sadness and pain for loved ones and relatives, and lamentations abounded in it, and a number of the most famous Arab lamentations were said because of it, and the lament included people and cities because of the devastation that befell them by plagues, almost all of the poetry dealt with the subject of the plague said after the emergence of Islam. Therefore, its impact was evident in it, such as the joy of dying from the plague because it is a testimony, and God collected the stabbing and plague on the nation influenced by the Prophet’s hadith, and others. Most of his poetic texts describe the state of loss and grief, in the face of the devastation and killing that the plague does, and it is rare to find a description of it, so the poet focused on the emotional side of this tragedy, were it not for the elegy poems we received. Short texts (syllables and plucking) would have been dominant, as they are partial glimpses and images that pass in front of the poet and record them. Poets used the image of the plague to express the pain of their love and spin, and in their sarcastic and serious humorous attacks, describing their brutality and the strength and intensity of their praises.

The principles of the Siddharthas are instructive of the ideas of instability. In particular, it is advisable to go beyond the stages of yak (physical) instability, youth instability, and wealth instability and ignore worldly attachments as everything is unstable. Furthermore, it is possible that the songs sound like a body that depicts the body as an erotic state and regrets the depravity of the body. However, some Siddhas refer to the body as the state of the Lord. Notable among them is Tirumular. He loves the body as Shiva. His songs transform the ordinary human body into a body of devotion. Kayasitthi's lifestyle is revealed in the package "Udale Sivam". When songs about Tirumular's health are studied with psychological factors, the intuitional stimuli of his life experience resonate in the songs.

The issue of trust in government and its efficiency has been a controversial and much-disputed subject within economics, sociology, and public sector management. This study presents a systematic literature review of trust research undertaken with regard to government, its performance (efficiency), and the quality of public services. Theoretical and methodological principles of the interrelations between trust and efficiency of the public sector of the economy are analyzed and deepened, based on the fundamental provisions of the theories of micro- and macro-efficiency. The article considers the concept of trust in the public sector of the economy as one of the main intangible resources that can be used by the state in order to achieve socially and economically beneficial as well as public valuable outcomes. The duplex relationship between trust and efficiency of the public sector is proved, according to which trust is both a condition and a result of the government institutions functioning and services providing. Generalization of key characteristics of the main indicators of state efficiency within the concepts of micro- and macro-efficiency allowed identifying several groups of indicators based on subjective and objective assessment of economic efficiency of the state. Objective indicators that determine the economic development of the country, which is the basis of the quality of citizens’ life, and forms the level of their satisfaction and trust in the state and its institutions, include monetary indicators of macroeconomic efficiency of the state and indicators that characterize public finance and income inequality in the country. Subjective assessment of the economic efficiency of the state, the work of its institutions and the quality of public services includes sociological surveys and quantitative indicators based on self-assessment by economic agents based on their own beliefs, knowledge, life values and worldview, cultural, ethnic, religious, ideological norms, as well as previously accumulated personal life experience of intercommunion with state institutions.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to find an answer the question of whether an educational institution of a fair socio-economic mix of pupils, and an institution favoured with powerful political connections, made any difference to access, equity, and exclusivity in relation to the transition into secondary education. It undertakes this purpose as a historical investigation of Junction Park State School in the early twentieth century combined with statistical analysis of family backgrounds of scholarship holders and their cohorts from 1915 to 1932. Design/methodology/approach – The socio-economic study uses a published list of scholarship holders from Junction Park State School for the years 1924-1932. The study compares the scholarship groupings with their different school cohorts for the same years using the data on parental occupations, extracted from the Junction Park State School Admission Records 1915-1931. After refinement the study examines a cohort data set of 4,531 pupils which includes 287 scholarship holders. Parental occupations are categorised into socio-economic groupings with high and low occupational ends. There were 237 parental occupations described among the cohort, 1915-1931, from the admission records. Findings – The statistical chance of obtaining scholarship is increased for a pupil from “commercial low” and “industrial low” background when the school starts with a cohort that has a large representation from such backgrounds. Pupils who were at the lower end of the socio-economic scale at Junction Park State School did much better in scholarship outcomes than for the state. However, pupils whose family background was at the high end of the professions did marginally better than the state result. For the school between 1915 and 1932, in most socio-economic groupings, the boys outperform the girls in the like-to-like comparisons. Research limitations/implications – The numeric value is excessively low for the primary producers (high) category and numbers in cohort groupings vary. This study deliberately applied like-to-like comparisons: the number of scholarship holders compared to their own gender for the same socio-economic cohort. Percentile in relation to the study’s total was not used due to numeric variations between cohort sizes. The study is a historical investigation of a formative period before Junction Park State School developed its reputation as a scholarship school in the 1940s, and historical factors relating to the post-Second World War era would have different results for a similar statistical analysis. Practical implications – The paper presents a case study of particular historical significance; however, a generic principle that institutional status can change access and equity opportunities can be tested within the historical setting. The paper claims that historical investigation provides the groundwork to establish the distinctive actuality. Historical investigation picks up on unusual patterns over time, not necessarily to disprove the sociological model, but more to test the model against actual events. Social implications – The Queensland social history is connected to the study’s statistical analysis. The data are considered from a perspective that, first, Junction Park had a diverse population of pupils from different socio-economic backgrounds. Second, the school had a solid reputation as a leading school, partly from the political standing of the school leadership, and partly from the strength of its scholarship teachers. Together these factors suggest that pupils at Junction Park State School from the socio-economic backgrounds less inclined to foster educational values were given greater support to achieve better scholarship outcomes. Originality/value – Statistical analysis is rarely brought to academic history work. There are greater risks in misinterpreting the data. There is also a difficult enterprise of extracting the required information. Nevertheless, the reward from this paper is an insightful view of a large and an innovating Queensland primary school, picking up the details in the life experience of pupils. In that historical process there is a greater degree of accuracy and better interpretive value which can be applied to the sociological model.

Introduction. Bashkir wedding is one of the most striking forms of traditional culture. Over centuries of evolution, a complex set of ideological and functional related ritual songs, actions, myths and rituals has formed as an integral festive and theatrical performance. This surprisingly unique performance (drama) reflects the worldview of the people, their poetic and musical culture, including peculiarities of social, everyday and social development. The ideology of caring for the welfare of the family and happy family future has been developed and vividly captured in the wedding rituals. Genotypic plans for the continuation of life, creating a sustainable family in order to ensure continuity and fertility of the new family member ― sister–in–law ― is a major determining code of the Bashkir wedding manifested in the complicated mytho-ritual complex tui (wedding, feast). In it, a large role is given to verbal and song contests (Bash. әйтеш), lamentations (сеңләү), good wishes (теләк, алғыш), ‘yar-yar’ chants, magnificence and farewell songs (takmaks) which are organically woven into the course of the wedding to create a festive atmosphere, give special importance to everything that happens. These work of art have various and rather complex functions, since they not only accompany various moments of the wedding celebration, but also reflect ancient mythological ideas, belief in the power of words and actions. The verbal, song and action creative complex acts as a single syncretic whole with what is happening. Goals. The article examines the role of verbal and poetic works in various parts of the wedding ceremony. They are distinguished by a variety of texts and tunes dedicated to various moments of the wedding and ritual actions addressed to the bride and groom (mostly). Results. The ritual of good wishes goes back to the magic of a kind word, which in general in all types of rituals involves the structuring of events in the name of blessings and the consolidation of a happy future. The article traces the reflection of the emotional state of the bride in various poetic texts, which determines the importance of the moment of the girl’s transition to a qualitatively different state of marriage; the importance of the special semantic load of the songs of the Bashkir wedding for the future family life is noted. In all cultures, edification, parting words generalize the prescriptions and rules of behavior for young people. There are two main places of well-wishes in the wedding drama: in front of the wires from the father’s house (girdling) and in the groom’s house (opening the face). Good wishes and edifications, pronounced in the rites of transitional meaning, represent a kind of collection of etiquette, everyday life and traditions of the people. This is the poeticized wisdom and life experience of people who want the well-being of a girl who goes into a ‘foreign’ environment. In a Bashkir wedding, songs of a greatness, entertaining or humorous nature are performed, which are organically included in the drama of the wedding action and become an integral part of the ceremony as a whole.

The analysis of the data of online questioning during the state of emergency in Kazakhstan was carried out. It was revealed that our questioning among the population of Kazakhstan who were at home during the state of emergency (total group of 152 people) allowed us to conclude that the state of emergency in Kazakhstan has affected the psycho-emotional state of the population. Women were more susceptible to stress than men. This is what the statistics of those interviewed tell us. This is due to the fact that in most cases women stayed at home. Young people react acutely to stress, it can be explained by the fact that they have little life experience. Changes in the habitual way of life, affected all segments of the population.
