The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation on employee performance. The method used is a quantitative research method with the number of samples used is 54 respondents. The sampling technique was done by random sampling. The results of the study: The correlation coefficient (rxy) was 0.46. This shows that there is a moderate relationship between the variables of Compensation and Employee Performance at Kreasindo Jaya Abadi; Compensation variable contributes to Employee Performance variable by 21.16% and the remaining 78.84% is contributed by other variables; We get a simple linear regression equation Y = 18.30 + 0.5082X. The results of the hypothesis analysis show the value of t count > t table (3.7353 > 1.6747), so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the Compensation variable and the Employee Performance variable.

Writing a dissertation is one of the requirements every postgraduate student has to accomplish in completing his/her doctorate program; and it is written based on research. This study addresses the problem concerning the pattern of weaknesses in the students’ research, particularly related to the use of research and statistical methods. Its objectives are to explore the weakness pattern of their research method and statistical data processing and analyze various causes of the pattern. The study is focused on the dissertations written by Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia’s School of Postgraduate Studies’ students that used a quantitative approach based on the review undertaken by the school’s commission from academic year 2012/2013 to 2013/2014. The study employed a qualitative approach and data analysis was done by using logical analysis of the review results. Findings of the study indicate there are various weaknesses in the students’ dissertations, particularly related to the way of thinking and inappropriate use of research method and statistical method. Inappropriate population, bias sampling technique, and inappropriate data analysis process and hypothesis testing are also found in the dissertations.

The research method used was a quantitative research method by using questionnaire as data collection technique. The population of this study was all active students at Polytechnic LP3I Medan as many as 559 students. The sampling technique used saturated samples, which obtained a sample of 418 students.  The gathered data were analyzed by using descriptive statistic, multiple regression and moderating regression analysis. The result of this study showed that Diamond Fraud simultaneously affected academic fraud. However, partially the component of diamond fraud such as pressure, opportunity and rationalization had a significant effect on academic fraud, while the capability had no effect on fraud academic. Furthermore, the result of the moderating test were known that student behavior becomes a moderating variable between the influence of diamond fraud on academic fraud.

This study aims to determine the effect of (X1) compensation and (X2) job satisfaction on (Y) employee performance at PT Winsen Kencana Perkasa by using this 130 response saturation sampling technique. The data collection method used a questionnaire. This study uses multiple regression test results showing that (X1) compensation and (X2) job satisfaction have a positive effect on (Y) employee performance based on regression results and with the value of R Square. Based on statistical data, the indicators in this study are valid and reliable variables. Hypothesis testing using the t test shows that (X1) compensation and (X2) job satisfaction are proven to have a significant effect on (Y) employee performance. Then through the F test it can be seen that the variable (X1) compensation and (X2) job satisfaction simultaneously must have an effect on employee performance variables with F count greater than F table
