Abstract TiCode-12 is a titanium-base alloy developed for corrosion-resisting applications. It contains nominally 0.8% nickel and 0.3% molybdenum; these additions affect corrosion resistance profoundly. They also provide an added benefit by significantly strengthening the titanium through the introduction of a small amount of beta phase into the structure and through solution effects. TiCode-12 has many applications in the process industries where its excellent corrosion resistance is needed. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, tensile properties, and bend strength. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ti-71. Producer or source: Titanium Metals Corporation of America.
