Abstract TRISTELLE ALLOY TS-1 is a 30Cr-10Ni-12Co alloy developed to withstand both corrosion and galling. This alloy relies on the formation of chromium-rich carbides during solidification. It is the lowest in carbon of the Tristelle Family. The alloy is recommended for valve services.
