Abstract TECHALLOY A-286 is recommended for applications requiring high strength and good resistance to corrosion at temperatures up to 1300 F and for lower stresses at higher temperatures. Its oxidation resistance is high for continuous service to 1500 F and intermittent service to 1800 F. It is ideal for fasteners and other cold-headed parts and it provides good spring properties at high temperatures in corrosive environments.
