Abstract ALUMINUM 1060 is a commercially pure grade of aluminum (99.6% minimum aluminum) recommended for applications requiring one or more of the following characteristics: excellent formability, excellent resistance to corrosion and excellent weldability. It has relatively low strength. It is recommended for hydrogen peroxide service and is used where minimum catalytic action is required.
