China is a developing country and with the speeding up of its industrialization, the environmental problems are becoming more serious, environmental pollution is a major environmental health problem in China. In order to have a more effective management and control of the significant growth issues of environment pollution, green supply chain incentives have started, which is kind of market incentive aiming to moderate the adverse effects of environmental pollution. Proper green chain supply selection and evaluation of companies is becoming very essential in sustainable green supply chain management. Generally speaking, decision-makers (DMs) prefer to provide a set of feasible and quantitative information for making performance evaluation, which motivates us to propose a framework using dual hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set (DHFLTS) and hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set (HFLTS) to select green suppliers. In this paper, group satisfaction and the regret theory are adopted for elicitation of preference information. The DHFLTS and HFLTS provide qualitative preferences of the DMs as well as reflect their hesitancy, inconsistency, and vagueness. Further, two new group satisfaction degrees are defined called the group satisfaction of hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set and dual hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set. Some properties of group satisfaction with DHFLST and HFL are also discussed. Unknown attribute weights are obtained to construct a novel Lagrange function optimization model to maximize the group satisfaction degree, which is an extension of general group satisfaction degree. A novel methodological approach based on two group satisfaction degrees framework and regret theory is developed to rank and select green chain suppliers focusing on specific selection objectives. The proposed model and method of this paper allow the DM to execute different fuzzy scenarios by changing importance weights attached to the triple-bottom-line areas. In the final part, the advantage of the proposed group satisfaction degree under DHFL and HFL background over the existing group satisfaction degree using examples have been presented with different computational combinations.

The management of the green supply chain aims to add practices to preserve the environment in the integrated network of supplies, in order to minimize the use of natural resources and to increase the use of the reuse of materials. The purpose of this article is to identify sustainable practices used by chemical industries of the Triple Bottom Line. Semi-structured interviews were carried out with mangers of medium and small business enterprises. Results show that sustainability is present in both; however, not fully completely obeying the sustainability tripod concept. The medium-sized company has a higher development of its environmental practices and could be considered as a focal company between the supply chain and their suppliers. Small businesses have to develop strategies, especially in terms of providing legal compliance to maintain their partnership with suppliers. None of them performed literature practices of a Green Supply Chain, but the first company, medium sized is ahead in terms of sustainable practices.

Purpose: The objective of this paper is to assess the level of sustainability of the UK automotive supply chain considering simultaneously the three dimensions of sustainability (economic, social and environmental) representing the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) approach.Design/methodology/approach: The assessment of the automotive SC’ sustainability is based on the framework proposed by Salvado, Azevedo, Matias and Ferreira (2011) and uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to aggregate economic, environmental and social indicators into a unique index. A case study on the UK automotive industry is used and the data do perform this study is collected from the sustainability reports of the UK’ automotive companies.Findings and Originality/value: The proposed framework represents an important benchmarking tool, offering managers the possibility for assessing the sustainability behaviour of its supply chain and compare it with other supply chains. Once identified the dimension of sustainability where the company or the supply chain is worst performer managers can work closer to their supply chain’ partners in order to improve the performance of those dimension of sustainability.Research limitations/implications: One limitation of the suggested approach is related to the ambiguity of the sustainability’ indicators selection and the definition of weights for each sustainability dimension.Practical implications: The assessment of the SC sustainability by using the suggested framework to compute a SC sustainability index offers managers an opportunity for assessing the level of sustainability of each individual company and the corresponding SC in a very easy way. It also represents an opportunity for improving company performance. In this way managers can use the information on the sustainability index to help adjust their company's behaviour and improve their economic, social and environmental performance.Originality/value: The proposed framework represents a contribution in the area of index construction and a valuable component of organizational management systems and monitoring programs.

ABSTRACT Purpose: To evaluate the universe of published articles that propose frameworks about the relationship between green supply chain management (GSCM) and performance in the period from 1995 to 2014, in order to propose a conceptual model that can be applied to future studies, considering the green profile besides the practices of GSCM and performance. Originality/gap/relevance/implications: The investigation revealed a lack of relationship among the organizations' profile, its environmental, economic and operational performance and GSCM practices. Key methodological aspects: The relationship among constructs was established through bibliometric analysis obtained in the models/frameworks of GSCM practices and performance extracted from the databases "ProQuest", "EBSCO", "JSTOR", "Web of Science" and "Scopus". Further, the content analysis and network analysis were then performed. Summary of key results: GSCM internal and external practices, environmental performance, economic performance and operational performance were revealed as main topics addressed in GSCM. Moreover, it was noted that studies on internal practices prevailed over those addressed to other practices. Key considerations/conclusions: The models studied did not consider whether the corporate green profile could improve the performance of the organization. Therefore, they did not simultaneously measure environmental, economic and operational performance. It was concluded that the addition of the green profile in conjunction with GSCM practices and performance allows for a more in-depth analysis of the degree of a company's involvement with GSCM, as well as its intended objectives and results achieved in the future.

In the past ten years, sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) attach great importance due to consumers, for-profit and profitless organizations, laws and regulations to the social and corporate responsibilities of consumers, so it has been recognized by practitioners and scholars. Supplier selection, environmental effect like a lockdown, and social cooperation and other SSCM programs can play an important part in realizing the triple bottom line (TBL) of economic, environmental, social assistances. In supply chain management (SCM), the sustainable supplier selection (SSS) and firm performance plays an important role. Traditionally, when evaluating SSS performance, organizations will consider a new framework to obtain the overall criteria/sub-criteria of the sustainability index by encapsulating sustainability. In this paper 12 sub-criteria for 3 pillars of sustainability as economic, environment and social performance is collected. Although there are many articles on SSS and evaluation, so far, research on sustainability issues is very limited. This study endeavours to propose a fuzzy multi-criteria approach to discuss SSCM planning, and studies the issue of determining a current model for SSS in the supply chain during COVID-19 based on the TBL method. For express the linguistic value of the subjective preference of experts we use triangular fuzzy numbers. By using fuzzy numbers to find standard weights for qualitative performance evaluation, then fuzzy TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) is proposed to find the ranking of SSS. However, COVID-19 has a negative role in SSS and in firm performance. The situation of lockdown due to COVID-19 has a negative effect on the performance of the organizations. An example is given of the proposed method.
