Zusammenfassung. Don Quijote und Sancho Panza, von Miguel de Cervantes Saavedras 1605/1612 geschaffene Romanhelden, erfreuen sich auch im Jahre 2003 eines großen Bekanntheitsgrades und sind als komisches Paar berühmt geworden. Beide verstricken sich in Abenteuer, die einzig ihrer Fantasie erwachsen. Im folgenden steht das Komische - aus nicht der Norm entsprechendem Verhalten oder aus wahnhaften Imaginationen erwachsend - in der literarischen Vorgabe wie auch in dem sinfonischen Tongedicht “Don Quixote“ von Richard Strauss im Mittelpunkt. Daran schließen sich Überlegungen zu einer tänzerischen Umsetzung im Rahmen eines therapeutischen Settings an. Es wird analysiert, wie sich Menschen mit unterschiedlichen Persönlichkeitszügen (resp. -störungen) darin wiederfinden können und wie die Charaktere von Don Quijote und Sancho Panza im Sinne einer eigenen Interpretation weiterentwickelt werden können. Aspekte der von Helmut Plessner vertretenen anthropologischen Betrachtungsweise des Lachens beleuchten die nur dem Menschen eigene Fähigkeit komisch zu sein und Komisches wahrzunehmen.

This paper considers the merit of manga versions of Shakespeare's Hamlet and Cervantes' Don Quijote de la Mancha which employ the impressionistic techniques of the Japanese comic format to create new, dynamic texts. Such multimodal texts demand different verbal and visual skills to decode the synergy between word and image and elements like the page layout, the size and shape of images and speech balloons and the style of lettering. Far from debasing the cultural authority of the originals by blurring the boundaries between high and popular culture, these versions can be seen as an act of salvage of the original texts from the perceived difficulties of challenging language and content, reinvigorating them with a vibrant immediacy. By making demands on the imagination and intellect in exciting ways, they may also salvage the act of reading itself by encouraging a young or reluctant readership, as well as the already enthusiastic, to explore new ways of engaging with a text.

ResumenLa autora introduce al lector en la sociofenomenología de la vida cotidiana de A. Schütz desde una lectura hermenéutica de “El Quijote”. Se detiene en el análisis schütziano de las estructuras de relevancias presentes en el universo quijotesco, ilustrando con citas de la obra de Cervantes y comentarios de las mismas las diversas construcciones sociales de los mundos de la vida habitados por los diferentes personajes, principalmente por Don Quijote y Sancho. Las articulaciones de estas realidades múltiples van aclarando el sentido del subuniverso quijotesco y el lugar del mismo en el seno del mundo de la vida compartido. Esas articulaciones se traducen en diferentes relaciones intersubjetivas que van reconfigurando el mundo social de don Quijote. A modo de conclusión, la autora reinterpreta la “locura” quijotesca de acuerdo con la estructura de relevancias.Palabras clavesociofenomenología, Schütz, mundo de la vida, D. She focusses on the schützian analysis of the structures of relevances in the quixotic universe. The different social constructions of the lifeworlds are illustrated through Cervantes book´s quotations and comments, mainly by the D. Quixot and Sancho inhabited worlds. The articulations of these multiple realities go clarifying the sense of the quixotic subuniverse and its place in the common lifeworld´s bossom. Such articulations are translated into different intersubjetive relationships which reshape the Quixot´s social world.
