Fracturing under ultrahigh vacuum (UHV, p ≤ 10-9 Torr) produces membrane fracture faces devoid of contamination. Such clean surfaces are a prerequisite foe studies of interactions between condensing molecules is possible and surface forces are unequally distributed, the condensate will accumulate at places with high binding forces; crystallites will arise which may be useful a probes for surface sites with specific physico-chemical properties. Specific “decoration” with crystallites can be achieved nby exposing membrane fracture faces to water vopour. A device was developed which enables the production of pure water vapour and the controlled variation of its partial pressure in an UHV freeze-fracture apparatus (Fig.1a). Under vaccum (≤ 10-3 Torr), small container filled with copper-sulfate-pentahydrate is heated with a heating coil, with the temperature controlled by means of a thermocouple. The water of hydration thereby released enters a storage vessel.

AbstractBoth the vapour and particulate phases of tobacco smoke have been shown to retard benzoyI-peroxide-initiated polymerisation of vinyl acetate by interception of the radicals involved in the polymerisation process. The extent of inhibition of polymerisation by test compounds is estimated by measuring time taken for a mixture of monomer and benzoyl peroxide, immersed in a water-bath at 70°C, to reach a spontaneous boil and comparing it with the time required for a similar mixture with added retarder to reach boiling point. Lim bah industri klor alkali termasuk limbah 83 dari sumber yang spesifik. Pembakaran lirnbah padat industri kimia terpadu, yang memproduksi kaustik soda, VCM dan PVC akan menghasilkan abu. Limbah cair media proses polimerisasi PVC setelah pengendapan disebut spent pure water (SPW). Abu sisa pernbakaran, Solid Waste /ncenerator (SWI) ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai adsorben  untuk SPW. Sesuai dengan model Freundlich isoterm, SW! mempunyai daya adsorpsi terhadap biru metilen lebih baik dari pada karbon aktif, dan mampu menurunkan turbiditas SPW sampai sekitar 95%.

<div> <p>As natural aqueous solutions are far from being pure water, being rich in ions, the properties of solvated ions are of relevance for a wide range of systems, including biological and geochemical environments. We conducted ab initio and classical MD simulations of the alkaline earth metal ions Mg<sup>2+</sup> and Ca<sup>2+</sup> and of the alkali metal ions Li<sup>+</sup>, Na<sup>+</sup>, K<sup>+</sup> and Cs<sup>+</sup> in pure water and electrolyte solutions containing the counterions Cl<sup>–</sup> and SO<sub>4</sub><sup>2–</sup>. Through a detailed analysis of these simulations, this study reports on the effect of solution chemistry (composition and concentration of the solution) to the ion–water structural properties and interaction strength, and to the dynamics, hydrogen bond network, and low-frequency dynamics of the ionic solvation shell. Except for the ion–water radial distribution function, which is weakly dependent on the counter-ions and concentrations, we found that all other properties can be significantly influenced by the chemical characteristics of the solution. Calculation of the velocity autocorrelation function of magnesium ions, for example, shows that chlorine ions located in the second coordination shell of Mg<sup>2+</sup> weaken the Mg(H<sub>2</sub>O)<sub>6</sub><sup>2+</sup> hydration ‘cage’ of the cation. The result reported in this study suggest that ionic solvation shell can be significantly influenced by the interactions between other ions present in solution ions, especially those of opposite charge. In more general terms, the chemical characteristics of the solution, including the balance between ion-solvent and ion-ion interactions, could result in significant differences in behavior and function of the ionic solvation shell.</p> </div>

<p><em>When children are in a process of growth and rapid development, parents and young people should pay atantion to the health and health of children so that the children can grow and develop according to their age.The purpose of this research is to identify: (1). The children nutrition 5-6 years old, (2). The children health development 5-6 years old, (3). The alternative to protect children health. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. The participants of this research which are include the principal, teacher, and the student parents at class B who is 5-6 years old. In process of collecting the data the researcher used interview method, observation, and documentation. From the research we can conclude 1).Nutrition or food that often given to the children is just four healthy five perfect foods, 2).The children in TK Ummi are the children who have healtiness, 3). The alternative that can be commited to protect the children health is do the practice, make the children common to throw the rubbish in the right place,  check the children nail, stock the pure water, set many dustbins and make a common to wash their hand before eating.</em></p>
