This research discussed the issue of the development of learning module based computer technology especially a powerpoint. This module is intended to help students receive the material that was delivered by lecturer especially design structured matter which currently learning module media shaped print and the contents of the text are form module so the university students ca not see the material . Based on these problems was built a module learning computer technology with a powerpoint . The reason the manufacture of the module was structured design material with a picture and a symbol of in designing a system so it needs to ease student visualiasi received mater learning. Method of development this module use the model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation). Results in this research validated by 2 ( two ) experts namely the people of material said 80% module very reasonable used without revision and media experts said 84% module very reasonable used without revision while results trial by college students by means of pre-test and post-test. The results obtained module very well be used.

The mind status of college students is important since it can reflect how the public opinion is going. Only with the accurate prediction, the corresponding actions can be conducted to prevent the situation from going worse. This paper focused on the data analysis using the recent developed broad learning method to obtain the learning model and then the prediction can be done. Firstly, the questionnaire related to the ideological state is designed. Secondly, the data are collected and classified using the typical questions and answers. Thirdly, for each pair of the question and the answer, the score is obtained and considered as data training of the system. Fourthly, the input and the output are selected according to the key questions and conclusions. Finally, the broad learning using flat network is employed for data analysis without deep structure. Tests show that the design using broad learning can efficiently deal with the regression problem and the learning network can be used for prediction.

The design of this study was a classroom action research design that was done by using two cycles. This study is aimed to find out the appropriate learning steps in the problem based learning method that can improve the creativity in writing speech text of the 3rd semester students in Indonesian Language Education Department. The subject of this study were the 3rd semester students in Indonesian Language Education Department. The data of this study were collected by using three instruments, they are observation, interview, and questionnaire. Besides, the result of this study are the effective learning steps related with the creativity in writing a speech text. Not only to improve the creativity in writing speech text for the college students, the appropriate learning steps in problem based learning method can also improve the learning activity of college students in the classroom. That improvement was proven by their responses which show that they are agree with the application of the problem based learning method. Thus, this study suggested the other researchers that observe this kind of topic to be able to research this kind of study from the other aspects.

The gender-related controversies associated with effects of various teaching methods gave rise to this study. This study was conducted to ascertain the gender-relative effect of project-based learning method on academic achievement and retention of technical college students in Basic Electricity. The study was carried out in Anambra state and the design of the study was quasi-experimental research with pretest, posttest, delayed posttest non-randomized control group design involving students’ intact class groups. A sample of 92 NTC II students was drawn from a population of 179 students of state owned technical colleges in Anambra state. The study was guided by two research questions and two null hypotheses which were tested at 0.05 level of significance. For collection of data, based on the units covered, Basic Electricity Achievement Test (BEAT), a 40-item multiple choice test served as the instrument. Validation of the instrument, as well as the lesson plans for both control and experimental groups were done by three experts from the faculty of education, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. KR-20 was used to determine the reliability coefficient of the instrument which was found to be 0.82. The research questions were answered using mean and standard deviation, while the hypotheses were tested using Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). Findings revealed that considering the both genders, students in technical college who were taught Basic electricity using project-based learning method had higher achievement and retention scores than those taught with the conventional teaching method. Also findings revealed that there was no significant difference in the mean achievement and retention scores of the students taught basic electricity using PBLM. Based on the findings of this study, it was concluded that PBLM has the potential to improve male and female technical college students’ academic achievement and retention in Basic electricity. Consequently, it was recommended among others that Basic electricity teachers should use PBLM in the teaching of Basic electricity and grant students equal opportunity during classroom instructions irrespective of gender so as to enhance students’ academic achievement and retention in the subject.

This research is aimed to find out about the perception of college students about a learning method of English by using a software named AntConc. The data were collected through questionnaires divided into pre-questionnaire and post-questionnaire. Pre questionnaire was about students’ perception towards AntConc software itself and the post questionnaire was about students’ perception using the software. The respondents were 51 students of Engineering Department, Politeknik Negeri Jakarta.. This research shows that Antconc software can be an alternative method to enhance students learning of English by using some tools on its software.

Five 6-character tonal index codes were compared for ease of learning using sighted college students as subjects. Each character of all codes was composed of one or two elements. The elements used in the first code were long and short tones, those in the second code were low- and high-pitched tones, and those used in the third code were tones ascending and descending in pitch. The dimensions used in the first two codes were combined to form the characters in the fourth code while dimensions from all the first three codes were combined to form the fifth code. Five comparable groups of 20 subjects were used. Each group was taught the names of the characters of one code using the paired-associates learning method. Two consecutive errorless trials was the criterion for learning. The code composed of long and short tones far surpassed all others in ease of learning.
