Under the Romanian legal system there are no specific regulations concerning transsexualism, nor are clear medical, administrative or judicial procedures configured. However, without any doubt, the medical transition to the gender with which a trans person identifies him/herself is allowed, as well as the legal recognition of the new sexual identity. If a trans person obtained a favourable judicial decision, based on which the necessary changes have been made in the civil status acts, being issued a new identity card, then, in principle that person can prevail him/herself of the legal consequences of his/her new identity, in all areas of social life. Regarding the coverage by the public health insurance system of treatments and operations for gender reattribution, there is no convergent point of view of competent institutions.

Death and Recovery of Colombian Companies This article synthesizes the author’s inquiry about the disappearance of Colombian manufacturing forms, and some rescue efforts made by their workers when the first effects of globalization began to be felt in our midst. In some way, this is a pioneering attempt in Colombia, since the phenomenon became well unnoticed by the public, because both, the employers had the government support to circumvent labor laws and to drive out easily the workers “surplus”, as well as the feeble resistence and sometimes indifference of union leaders. The disappearance of symbolic firms in Colombian social life, large and medium, quickly erased the memory of the contribution that national employers and workers made in techniques, quality and presentation of national productions treasured along a century of manufacturing history. Keywords: Globalization, Industrial Crisis, Recovery Companies, Unionism.

The Enlightenment was an intellectual movement that took place in Europe in the 18th century, whose main characteristic was criticism. For the Enlightenment theorists, it was assumed that the idea of reason should be the basis of all actions taken in every sphere of social life. The aim of the present study is to investigate the entanglement between Enlightenment and education. In order to do so, we first resort to Kant’s thought. Kant characterizes the Enlightenment as man’s emergence from his own immaturity, defining immaturity as the inability to use one’s own understanding. One can say that the Enlightenment has an intrinsic pedagogical dimension. The enterprise of Diderot’s Encyclopedia consisted of a project that could be regarded as pedagogical, since it aimed at spreading the new breakthroughs of knowledge in all fields to an increasing number of people. The belief of the Enlightenment was that progress in science and technology did not only depend on advances in accumulated knowledge. The achievements of science would also—beyond the new discoveries in the various fields of knowledge—be furthered through the irradiation of that knowledge. The expansion of access to the achievements of science for an increasing number of people was one of the main objectives of the Enlightenment theorists, and particularly of the Encyclopedia. It should be noted that these pedagogical projects were based on the thesis that the schooling of society was a strategy with which to secure and consolidate the path of reason, and to protect it against dogmas and prejudices against it. For this reason, the Enlightenment consisted of organization of the intellectual world, whereby the activity of thought effectively became a struggle in favor of freedom of reasoning and freedom of belief. In the Enlightenment ideas of education as set out in Diderot’s Plan of a University or of a Public Education in All Sciences, written while he was under state guard, one can see how the idea of instruction is linked to the concept of civilization. It was believed that, through education, the nation could be enlightened, and the people would also be better prepared to live as good citizens. In addition, it was believed that school education would give people the opportunity to develop the talents nature had endowed them with. The idea was that allowing everyone to have free access to the instruments of rationality and freedom of judgment would bring about the possibility of a fairer, more egalitarian society in which distinctions between its citizens were based on merit rather than inequalities of fortune. Finally, Condorcet’s proposal for the organization of the public education undoubtedly constitutes the matrix of our contemporary idea of the state school. To develop reason presupposes, from the point of view of the Enlightenment, using the instruments of that reason so it can be expressed. This implied the formation of public opinion, which was, per se, a pedagogical task. Also, and most importantly, this implied the necessity of the creation of schools.

Rheumatic diseases (RD) are among the most frequent disorders in the population and the major causes of chronic pain and disability. The resulting consequences are catastrophic, leading to a significant socio-economic burden, which includes significant reductions in quality of life (QoL) and limitations in regular work and daily activities of patients. In spite of this, rheumatic diseases are often misunderstood or diagnosed late, probably due to their characteristics of silent diseases, sometimes unrecognizable to unaffected or unskilled people. Actually, it is surprising that, despite their consequences on QoL and on individual impact, rheumatic diseases are underestimated by the public opinion, which is probably more attracted by other major diseases causing death. This silent perception can even be seen in some among the most recent psycho-social approaches to population needs in the fields of Health Psychology and Environmental Psychology. The latter, also known as Architectural Psychology, is a branch of Psychology that analyses the effects of the built environment on humans, including those affected by diseases. Paradoxically, in many cases, some components of the environments created to protect individuals and/or the population may represent barriers and subsequently causes of disability and suffering in patients with rheumatic diseases. In order to increase awareness about this particular aspect of social life, HEMOVE Onlus, a non-profit association, has promoted the creation of a multidisciplinary Task Group, which included mainly rheumatologists, psychologists and architects, with the aim of applying also for the benefit of rheumatic patients the most modern technical skills available in the context of Environmental Psychology, including in particular design and information technology.

The article situates the issue of the public sphere as a phenomenon that is historically bound and culturally specific. According to this point of view, the Western practices and the Western way of thinking about the public sphere appear as a historically particular way of dealing with the more general phenomenon which is the creation of a social bond beyond the family. Looking at the self-contradictory effects of the ‘modern’ Western public sphere, the question is asked whether the public association of self-interested or self-governing individuals might have to be theorized as a partial and insufficient solution to the social bond. A comparative perspective shows that it is not individuals but cultural forms that link people in the public sphere. They do so by providing a narrative basis of discourses and/or markets that in the self-understanding of modernity shape social life.

Radicalism is an understanding of social life, far beyond reconciliation and communication, similar to acts of violence. This misconception is indeed very dangerous, particularly if it is made in the name of religion itself. Evidently, the religious principle which always encourages a good and ethical way of life seems to have been misunderstood, perhaps abused. Radicalism might be handled and prevented by implementing the teachings of Imam al-Bukhārī, e.g. the I'tiqād, a clear understanding of religion and outstanding teaching practices. The aim of this research is to analyze the contents of the book upon its values of Islamic teachings concerning harmony through living together under a foundation of educational values towards radicalism. The research employed a full qualitative method and data documentation related to the research, which was then analyzed descriptively. In the meantime, the results of the study revealed that Imam al-Bukhārī, in his book I'tiqād al-Bukhārī, proposed four (4) educational values or elements of peace in Islamic teachings, namely: (1) harmony with the public at large, (2) harmony with the government, (3) tranquility with the Muslims, and (4) harmony with believers of other religions. These educational values could be an instructional approach for the enforcement of counter-radicalism that would be applicable to Islamic education in Indonesia.

The Qur'an teaches about balance relationship between men and women in the scope of social life. In reality, there are a lot of scholars and interpretator have the point of view that women should limit themselves to be active in the public area’s.  So there are the issues related to the protection of the income rights of women workers themselves. Wahbah Zuhaili and Quraish Shihab itself was a figure of nowadays interpretator who often discuss gender equality. The model used in this interpretation is a descriptive analysis, which revealed the interpretation Wahbah Zuhaili and Quraish Shihab is based on the issues related to interpretation books Al-Misbah and Al-Munir. The thematic interpretation methods used in assessing the verses associated with it, particularly on gender. Wahbah Zuhaili and Quraish Shihab explain that women have equal status with men because women have their own rights. so it is fitting female workers have the same rights as male workers, both in terms of income, protection, opportunities of employment and gain comfort within the scope of its work. And this was in accordance with the rules possessed by Islam itself, where men and women both are equal and equally rewarded in accordance with what has been cultivated by the individual. Wahbah Zuhaili and Quraish Shihab also prohibit discrimination on the matter. So that the results of the analysis are expected to be implemented in the making of policies relating to the income rights of women workers themselves.

The idea of public experience is often invoked in different social and academic contexts. However, it seldom deserved a reflection that specifically sought to deepen its meaning from the point of view of social life. In this article we contribute to the understanding of the uniqueness of the public form of experience. We believe that one of the best ways through which we can observe the public experience is by the objectification, performance and dramatization of the culture, i.e., the “expression of lived experiences”. There is, in publicity, the possibility of simultaneous allocation of individual and collective experiences, and it is in this sense that we can see how culture influences the shaping of experience itself. Public experience is characterized by the weaving and intertwining of singular experiences that are pluralized and plural lived experiences that are singularized, in a process where individual and society interpenetrate. The relationship between experience and publicity arises from this symbolic communion contained in the systems of thought and action of societies. The decisive role of the principle of publicity to experience consists, according with the hypothesis we wish to put forward, in making available and communicating the social world of symbolic (cultural) activity. Public experience is, then, envisaged as the experience of a common world where both singular and plural definitions of the individual (taken as society) converge through lived experiences and, particularly, through their expression, which can take different symbolic forms.

Television advertisement is an effective medium that aims to market a product or service, because it combines audio and visuals. therefore television advertisement can effectively influence the audience to buy the product or service. Advertisement nowadays does not only convey promotional messages, but can also be a medium for delivering social messages. That is one form of the function of the media, which is to educate the public. The research entitled Representation of Morality in the Teh Botol Sosro Advertisement "Semeja Bersaudara" version analyzed the morality value in a television advertisement from ready-to-drink tea producers, Teh Botol Sosro entitled "Semeja Bersaudara" which began airing in early 2019. In this study researchers used Charles Sanders Peirce's Semiotics theory with triangular meaning analysis tools in the form of Signs, Objects and Interpretations.
