TWO-DIMENSIONAL NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF THE SHOCK WAVE-PARTICLE LAYER INTERACTION USING CARTESIAN GRID METHOD

The process of dispersion of particles behind a shock wave (SW) propagating along the dust layer is one of the stages of the complex process of dust-layered detonation [1]. The paper presents the results of direct numerical simulation of the problem of interaction of a sliding SW with a layer of moving and interacting particles on an impermeable surface.
