AbstractEvery year approximately 70 million passenger cars are being produced and automotive industry is much bigger then just passenger cars. The impact of automotive industry on the environment is tremendous. From extracting raw materials through manufacturing and assembly processes, exploitation of the vehicle to the reprocessing irreversible, extensive environmental damage is done. The goal of this study is to show how implementing eco-design processes into supply chain management can reduce the impact of automotive industry on the environment by e.g. reducing the use of the fuel, increasing the use of recycled materials. Focus is on evaluation of current state, environmental impacts and potential improvements for design, raw materials, manufacturing and distribution and end-of-life phase.

Indonesia's non-migas industries will play a key role in improving economic impact for the country, as it is consistent with the gross domestic product (wb) of non-migas industries. In the meantime, there are some negative effects that are mitigated, one of which is to the environment, in which a company must be required to increase its corporate performance in order to keep up with the competition and still look at the impact of the environment. As for the method of supply chain management using scor approach methods. Because beyond getting a knowledge of the company's performance from the intermal process, measuring performance using company scor methods has also been able to recognize the company's environmental performance, it can also increase attention to a wide range of negaific impacts that would affect the life cycles of the company's xyz corporation, a packaged alcohol corporation that already has food and environmental security standards, Yet this company has never been able to consolidate green supphy chain management. The company's repairs on this study have yet to be determined by researchers measuring the kincing of the supply chain using scor method approaches, which, in turn, have been supported by ahp sound and value in standardization by snorm DE Boer to get more accurate results. From the calculations presented at trafic light, the company's performance of 89 31 means that the company's performance is good but there are 4 kpi units of 21 PI that fall in the red category which means that all four must be made in the red category With the cooperation of both verbal and non-verbal partners, socializing with their employees can also replace energy-efficient sensors. And exercised regular control over the raw materials and the correct scheduling flow of information and material flow.

In spite of logistics having grown in importance lately, which included the discussion of concepts such as integrated logistics and supply chain management in the business agenda, little has been discussed about how to measure logistics performance. This paper analyzes the perception of logistics professionals about the effectiveness of MMOG/LE (Materials Management Operating Guideline/Logistics Evaluation), which is a set of recommendations regarding logistics and materials management that was created by the automotive industry to be used by those comprising its supply chain. The respondents, who were naturally all from the automotive industry (they were suppliers of large vehicle assemblers with industrial plants located in Brazil), had been previously trained on this logistics performance evaluation tool in order to implement it in their organizations. They filled in an email survey with Likert scale questions, early in 2008. Among other findings of the research, it was noticed that the impact of the MMOG/LE recommendation is stronger with respect to activities that had not been previously addressed by quality norms and recommendations. Most respondents also considered that their organizations were already efficient in integrating their activities with their customers (car assemblers) but rarely with their suppliers, which was acknowledged to be the bottleneck of their logistics systems.

Objective - This study aims to analyze the impact of supply flexibility on supply chain performance. The rapidlychanging marketdemands have to be faced with a flexible supply chain management in order to reach market acceptance. The key to successful supply chain management also depends on supply flexibility; given that the smooth flow of materials and parts will define the whole manufacture operation. Methodology/Technique - Supply flexibility consists of two variables, namely, supplier flexibility and supply network flexibility.The research was conducted by taking samples from the garment industry in Indonesia. Findings - As a result of this research, it was found that supplier flexibility affects the supply chain performance, while supply network flexibility does not. Novelty - The study suggests that the Indonesian garment industry needs to strengthen the cooperation network with more suppliers so that the relationship can be more flexible to ensure the availability of high quality raw materials and parts at the appropriate prices to maintain the smooth operation of the company. Purpose: Analytics research is increasingly divided by the domains Analytics is applied to. Literature offers little understanding whether aspects such as success factors, barriers and management of Analytics must be investigated domain-specific, while the execution of Analytics initiatives is similar across domains and similar issues occur. This article investigates characteristics of the execution of Analytics initiatives that are distinct in domains and can guide future research collaboration and focus. The research was conducted on the example of Logistics and Supply Chain Management and the respective domain-specific Analytics subfield of Supply Chain Analytics. The field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management has been recognized as early adopter of Analytics but has retracted to a midfield position comparing different domains.Design/methodology/approach: This research uses Grounded Theory based on 12 semi-structured Interviews creating a map of domain characteristics based of the paradigm scheme of Strauss and Corbin.Findings: A total of 34 characteristics of Analytics initiatives that distinguish domains in the execution of initiatives were identified, which are mapped and explained. As a blueprint for further research, the domain-specifics of Logistics and Supply Chain Management are presented and discussed.Originality/value: The results of this research stimulates cross domain research on Analytics issues and prompt research on the identified characteristics with broader understanding of the impact on Analytics initiatives. The also describe the status-quo of Analytics. Further, results help managers control the environment of initiatives and design more successful initiatives.

The global supply chain is a network of interconnected processes that create, use, and exchange records, but which were not designed to interact with one another. As such, the key to unlocking the full potential of supply chain management (SCM) technologies is achieving interoperability across participating records systems and networks. We review existing research and solutions using distributed ledger technology (DLT) and provide a survey of its current state of practice. We additionally propose a holistic solution: a DLT-based interoperable future state that could enable the interoperable, efficient, reliable, and secure exchange of records with integrity. Finally, we provide a gap analysis between our proposed future state and the current state, which also serves as a gap analysis for many fractional DLT-based SCM solutions and research.

Zinn et al. (2018) and Esper et al. (2020) call for more research on gender diversity in Supply Chain Management, and our study responds to that call. We analyze the career path of 1081 international graduates from a higher degree program in Supply Chain Management from 2000 to 2017 to assess the impact of gender and expatriation choice on hierarchical progression. We explore two variables that may affect graduates’ career paths, namely, their gender and their expatriation choices, and compare their relative importance. Our analysis shows that there were, on average, 33.5% women recruited in the MSc and that this has not significantly changed over the years. It also shows that gender significantly influences the number of years spent at each level in the career hierarchy and the level reached. Regarding expatriation choice, this variable has some significant impacts on career progression. Finally, statistics indicate that gender has a far greater influence on career progression than expatriation choice. Overall, this study proves the difficulties for women in enjoying the same career progression as men in the field of Supply Chain Management.

Different sources of risk factors can occur in sustainable supply chain management due to its complex nature. The telecommunication service firm cannot implement multiple improvement practices altogether to overcome the risk factors with limited resources. The industries should evaluate the relationship between risk factors and explore the determinants of improvement measures. The purpose of the present study is to identify and analyze critical risk factors (CRFs) for enhancing sustainable supply chain management practices in the Indian telecommunication industry using interpretive structural modelling (ISM). Risk factors are identified through a literature survey, and then with the help of experts, nine CRFs are identified using a fuzzy Delphi method (FDM). The relationship among these CRFs has been analyzed using ISM, and the driving and the dependence power of those CRFs are analyzed. Results indicate that both “government policies (laws and regulations)” and “the impact of rapid change in technology” are independent or key factors that affect the sustainability of the telecommunications supply chain. In addition, results provide significant managerial implications, including enhanced sustainability, and the government should build justice, fairness, open laws, certainties, and regulations to prevent risk in the telecommunications industry supply chain; service providers should monitor the rapidly evolving technologies and focus on technical learning and organizational capacity development to overcome the impact of technological changes. The contribution of this study is using a novel approach to establish a hierarchical structural model for an effective understanding of CRFs relationships and to explore decisive risk factors that can help telecom service providers to better plan and design effective improvement strategies to enhance sustainability supply chain management.

This paper presents the impact of applying the supply chain management (SCM) on the agribusiness field to optimize productivity and decreasing cost which will have a direct impact on the net income of the organization. The main two research questions are: is there a significant impact of supply chain management on financial performance? and is there a significant relationship between supply chain management and financial performance as well as responsibility accounting? To answer the research questions, data was collected from financial statements of agribusiness case from Egypt and the survey was conducted. The findings of the study indicated that there is a significant impact of supply chain management on financial performance through enhancing the productivity, decreasing the cost and improving profitability. Moreover, applying the efficient supply chain management can improve the use of responsibility accounting through the efficient usage for the budget of the crop.

Agriculture is widely treated as a base of national economy. The product provides the basic need for human, and its safety and stability are exposed to the constant attention of everyone. With the progress of human science and technology, more and more resources can be extracted from nature, and agricultural products nowadays are not be limited to food, but also be used as raw materials for fuel or other products. Meanwhile, trade between the two regions is often due to a comparative advantage in the production of a product, such as better technology, easier access to raw materials and the like (Dollar & Kraay, 2004). Therefore, agricultural product trade is a very important topic. This study believes that supply chains are an effective way to increase the value of agricultural product trade, for example effectively collaborating makes agricultural products available to end-consumers as quickly as possible. Supply chain management aims to satisfy consumer demands and improve the competitiveness (Dias & Ierapetritou, 2017) in various industries (Oelze et al., 2018). However, there is still blank between agricultural product trade and supply chain academically, figuring out what is agricultural product trade supply chain and what is related to this chain would be essential.
