INDIE FILM EDITING TRAINING AT ARMIDALE ENGLISH COLLEGE OF SOREANG, BANDUNG REGENCY. A film can be seen as a medium of mass communication because in a film there are elements of entertainment, education, and information. In fact, a film can be an advocacy media that encourages a social change. In the film production management, there are major label and indie label concepts, where the indie label focuses on film content and filmmakers' freedom of expression. The stages that must be passed by a filmmaker in producing a film starts from the stages of development, pre-production, production, post-production, and distribution. The post-production stage is the most important stage that determines whether a film is classified as a quality film or not because it involves the final touch of a film. Therefore, the author decided to make a community service program in the form of post-production indie film training (audio-visual editing) at Armidale English College, Soreang District, Bandung Regency. The purpose of this training is to provide practical understanding and skills in the field of audio-visual editing to the trainees. The various implementation methods used in this training included media communication methods (audio-visual), lecture methods, interactive methods, pre-test and post-test methods, and simulation methods. The results achieved after the training was carried out were that the trainees experienced increased understanding and skills in the context of indie film post-production, especially in the process of audio-visual films editing.  ABSTRAKDi Indonesia, konsep film indie adalah film-film yang tidak diproduksi oleh rumah produksi besar dan film yang mengeksprsikan idealisme pembuatnya tanpa tekanan dari pihak manapun. Film-film pendek yang dibuat atas dasar hobi dan kecintaan khalayak pada dunia film juga termasuk ke dalam film indie. Terkait dengan hal tersebut, sebagian besar remaja di Desa Kramatmulya, Soreang, Kabupaten Bandung, telah memiliki akses pengetahuan dalam bidang produksi film-film pendek. Para remaja yang pada umumnya berusia antara 17-19 tahun ini telah memiliki pengalaman memproduksi film, mulai dari tahap pra-produksi sampai tahap post-produksi. Hanya saja, mereka belum memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup mengenai sistem dan model promosi film indie. Tujuan dari dilaksanakannya program pelatihan ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan mengenai promosi film indie kepada para remaja tersebut, serta memotivasi mereka, agar kelak ketika mereka ingin mencoba untuk memperkenalkan hasil karya mereka pada khalayak, mereka telah memiliki bekal pengetahuan untuk melakukannya melalui media promosi yang tepat. Metode-metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini antara lain metode komunikasi bermedia (audio-visual), metode ceramah, metode interaktif, metode pre-test dan post-test, metode simulasi, serta metode ice breaking. Hasil yang dicapai setelah pelatihan ini dilaksanakan adalah para peserta menjadi memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik megenai model, teknik dan pemilihan media promosi film indie serta memiliki keinginan dan motivasi untuk dapat memperkenalkan sampai mempromosikan film-film pendek yang telah mereka hasilkan. Kata Kunci: Kreativitas; Promosi; Film; IndieABSTRACTIn Indonesia, indie films are not produced by large production houses. These films express the idealism of the maker without any pressure from others. Short films made on the basis of hobbies and society’s passion of films are also included in indie films. Related to that, most teenagers aged 17-19 years old in Kramatmulya Village, Soreang, Bandung Regency, have had access to knowledge in the field of short films productions. The teenagers have experienced in producing films, from the pre-production stage to the post-production stage. It's just that, they don't have enough knowledge about indie film promotion systems and models. The purpose of this training program was to provide knowledge about indie film promotion to the teenagers, and motivate them, so that later when they want to try to introduce their work to the public, they will have knowledge to do it through the right promotional media. The methods used in this training include media communication methods (audio-visual), lecture methods, interactive methods, pre-test and post-test methods, simulation methods, and ice breaking methods. Mentoring Activities of Applied Science to Improve the Competence of Natural Science Teachers in Prakarya Learning in Sijunjung RegencyAbstract. Junior high school natural science teachers in Sijunjung Regency are still not optimal in teaching of prakarya. This is due to the lack of application of natural science in prakarya learning. Prakarya subjects have four material aspects, namely: crafts, engineering, cultivation, and processing. The material aspect of crafts is more dominantly taught by science teachers in prakarya subjects even though this material aspect is more appropriate to be taught by arts / culture teachers. In addition, there are still very few natural science teachers who are able to compile prakarya student worksheets. The Community Partnership Program in the form of mentoring activities of applied natural science is very much needed by natural science teachers in learning prakarya. This activity aims to motivate and help natural science teachers to continue to improve their competencies, especially professional and pedagogical competencies. Community service activities in the form of mentoring activities use a method that consists of several stages. The initial stage is the orientation and discussion phase. The second stage is the preparation phase of the activity. The third stage is the mentoring stage 1 (in) with use the explanation, demonstration, and practice methods on mentoring activity. Data collection techniques with pre-test and post-test methods and analyzed using normalized gain. This activity has been carried out for 5 months from March to July 2019 at SMP Negeri 11 Sijunjung, Kamang Baru District, Sijunjung Regency, West Sumatra Province. The results of the activities showed that increasing the pedagogical competence of the Sijunjung district's natural science teachers in the prakarya learning was satisfactory. Meanwhile, increasing professional competence is quite satisfying. So, overall the improvement in the competence of Sijunjung district's natural science teachers in prakarya learning has been satisfactory.Keywords: Community service, applied natural science, prakarya, professional, pedagogicalAbstrak. Guru-guru IPA SMP di Kabupaten Sijunjung masih belum optimal dalam mengajarkan prakarya. Hal ini disebabkan karena masih kurangnya penerapan IPA dalam pembelajaran prakarya. Mata pelajaran prakarya memiliki empat aspek materi yaitu: kerajinan, rekayasa, budidaya, dan pengolahan. Aspek materi kerajinan lebih dominan diajarkan oleh guru IPA dalam mata pelajaran prakarya padahal aspek materi ini lebih tepat diajarkan oleh  guru seni budaya/keterampilan. Selain itu, masih sedikitnya guru IPA yang mampu menyusun bahan ajar prakarya. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat dalam bentuk pendampingan implementasi sains terapan sangat diperlukan guru IPA dalam pembelajaran prakarya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memotivasi dan membantu guru-guru IPA untuk terus meningkatkan kompetensinya terutama kompetensi professional dan pedagogik. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk kegiatan pendampingan ini menggunakan metode yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan. Tahap awal yang dilaksanakan adalah tahap orientasi dan diskusi. Tahap kedua berupa tahap persiapan kegiatan. Tahap ketiga adalah tahap pendampingan 1 (in) dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktik pada kegiatan pendampingan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan metode pre-test dan post-test dan dianalisis menggunakan gain ternormalisasi. Kegiatan ini telah dilaksanakan selama 5 bulan dari bulan Maret sampai dengan Juli 2019 di SMP Negeri 11 Sijunjung Kecamatan Kamang Baru, Kabupaten Sijunjung Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru-guru IPA kabupaten Sijunjung dalam pembelajaran prakarya sudah memuaskan. Sedangkan, peningkatan kompetensi profesionalnya cukup memuaskan. Jadi, secara keseluruhan peningkatan kompetensi guru-guru IPA kabupaten Sijunjung dalam pembelajaran prakarya sudah memuaskan.Kata Kunci: Pengabdian, sains terapan, prakarya, profesional, pedagogik

This research was aimed to develop multimedia and activities to enhance knowledge about arts and cultures for community youths through social lab at the community under the bridge zone 1, to determine the quality of the multimedia and activities, to examine the learning achievement of the community youths, to evaluate the satisfaction of the sampling group and to evaluate the after-action review (AAR) of the organizers. The research tools in this study included the quality evaluation form for contents, the quality evaluation form for media and activities, the learning achievement test, the satisfaction survey for the sampling group towards the multimedia and activities, and the activity to get after-action review (AAR) of the organizers. The sampling group consisted of people who had lived in the community under the bridge zone 1 for over 2 years had participated in this research from the beginning till the end. There were 120 people who filled out the questionnaires. They were chosen using purposive sampling method. The group included local people and community youths. The research results showed that the organizers ran the project about dancing performance alongside single-head drums for the community youths through social lab. The multimedia included vinyl media and video clips to teach dancing performance alongside music from single-head drums. The clips and teaching were made by students who got scholarship from KMUTT for their art and cultural skills and the fence-painting activity was done by graduate students from the LTM652 Principle and Theories of Mass Communication course. The organizers analyzed, designed and developed multimedia and activities in accordance with the ADDIE Model in the first semester of the academic year 2018. The quality of the contents was at a good level (x ̅ = 4.46, S.D = 0.26). The quality of the media and activities was at a very good level (x ̅ = 4.60, S.D = 0.26). The learning achievement of the students from their pre-test and post-test scores showed that their average post-test score was higher with statistical significance at the.05 level. The satisfaction of the sampling group was at the highest level (x ̅ = 4.63, S.D = 0.56), confirming the research hypothesis. The after-action review showed that it was at a good level. The organizers expressed their opinion that the multimedia and activities to enhance knowledge about arts and cultures for community youths through social lab were beneficial for both the organizers and the community youths. The organizers learned how to work as a team and they could use their skills in real situations. They realized the importance of giving, especially teaching knowledge about arts and cultures for community youths. The community youths learned to spend their free time on useful activities and did not involve in drug abuse. They also learned new skills and they could do dancing performance to earn their living on the weekends and holidays or when there were festive events. It could be concluded that the multimedia and activities to enhance knowledge about arts and cultures for community youths through social lab were of good quality and could be applied for real use.

For rural Americans, the debate over establishing a parcel post evoked all the hopes and anxieties associated with the expansion of mass society at the turn of the century. Parcel post, today an accepted and seemingly inconsequential government service, was originally seen as a linchpin in the emerging industry of mass culture. The media of mass communication advertised products and ran stories acclimating readers to a consumer society, thereby encouraging demand for mass-produced goods that were distributed, finally, by parcel post. Opponents of parcel post foresaw a decline of small towns, a centralization of production and distribution, a disruption of the ‘natural’ relations among labor, retailers, and consumers, and the aggrandizement of urban culture. At the other extreme, proponents claimed that parcel post would increase consumer choice, reduce the cost of living, and bridge the widening chasm between urban and rural life. Thus, the simple act of carrying a parcel from Chicago to a farmer's lane became freighted with a panoply of issues agitating the nation.

Disminorea defined as pain started right on or before the start of menstrual period such as cramps and corrugated pain in the lower abdomen, spread onrear downwaist and you feel tingling sensation in the pelvicarea and surrounding areas.Women who are experience pain during menstruation require non-pharmacological therapies such as herbs asam kunyit and also exercise such as light sport / light exercise Analyze the effectiveness light sport / light exercise and the use of kunyit asam to decrease dysminoreapain in Fakultas Universitas Muhammadiyah students This study was an experimental study using a qualitative approach with pre and post test methods. With the number of respondents 60 respondents. Collecting data using questionnaires, the data were tested using t-test The results of the study most respondents experienced a decrease in pain after day 2 and 3 after using kunyit asam with P = 0.000 and a day I did not decrease pain with P = 0.014. The purpose of the paper is to determine the impact of innovative technologies of artificial intelligence on the modernization of logistics infrastructure, the formation of new forms of logistics networks of Industry 4.0. Methodology. The survey is based on a study of the main trends in the field of logistics infrastructure development, analysis of the latest forms and methods of using artificial intelligence technologies in various fields. The study considers the forecasts of IDC “IDC Future Scape: Worldwide Digital Transformation 2021” and contains an assessment of the volume and effectiveness of investment in this area. The results of the survey showed that in addition to the radical transformation of the logistics network itself, the use of artificial intelligence technologies will lead to qualitative changes in the labor market. There is still the tendency to reduce the need for logisticians performing operational functions – automation of warehousing operations, unmanned stackers, and transporters instead of loaders and pickers will accelerate. Practical implications. The use of artificial intelligence technologies allows companies today to generate significant competitive advantages on this basis. However, soon this will not be an advantage, an indisputable condition for the company’s operation in the market of logistics services in general. Value/originality. The authors have highlighted the minimum quality and competencies required in the future, the presence of which in the company’s resource base will allow to use all the advantages of implementing innovative forms of piece intelligence - multi-competent knowledge in the areas of IT technologies, procurement and warehouse, transport, production and distribution logistics, mathematical analysis, and production management processes based on artificial intelligence.

Background: Dental caries is one of the dental and oral health problems found the most in children. A previous study in Surabaya has revealed a high prevalence of dental caries in pre-school children (67.5%) resulting in a high severity level (def: 7.0). It occurred because of the poor mother’s knowledge of dental and oral health. It could be due to poor efforts to access information about oral and dental health which significantly affects child dental care. Studies show mothers in Surabaya mostly used Youtube as one of the media for accessing the information on the internet (46.2%). In Surabaya, the percentage of mothers having smartphones for accessing the internet was high (91.6%). Purpose: This study aimed to find out the effectiveness of the Youtube channel in improving parents’ knowledge about dental and oral health. Methods: This study was observational descriptive research using a cross-sectional study design. Thirty samples were selected through the total sampling of the population of parents in one of the elementary schools in Surabaya, Indonesia. This study employed pre-test and post-test methods to measure an increase in knowledge level. The participants’ knowledge was assessed before and after they were briefed and asked to watch Youtube videos regularly for 4 weeks. Data collected were then analyzed by the paired T-Test comparison test in SPSS. Results: In the pre-test, the participants’ knowledge about dental and oral health was at a 65% level. While the post-test showed an increase in their knowledge into 93%. There was a significant difference between the two results (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Educative video channels on dental and oral health can effectively improve parents’ knowledge about dental and oral health.

Distribution of  Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever case in Salatiga in 2011 - 2015 showed wide expansion of the case. Dinas Kesehatan Kota Salatiga in collaboration with B2P2VRP performed capacity building of vector surveillance facilitators using interactive method as an early warning system response to the spread of DHF transmission. Facilitators were cadres and teachers who were expected to optimize larval monitoring activities in family and at school. The stydy objective was to measure level of knowledge of facilitators before and after receiving capacity building activities. Research was conducted at Kelurahan Gendongan and Tingkir Tengah with data collection in February - September 2014. The research was an intervention study with one group pre-post test without control design. The result showed that capacity building could increase knowledge of both the facilitator (PSN cadres and teachers) before and after the intervention. There was no difference of post test knowledge level between cadre group and teacher. Capacity building activities with interactive methods can increase participants' knowledge with different educational background. The health office was recommended to use interactive methods in refreshing DBD vector surveillance materials on cadres and teachers to improve the sustainability of community participation in other kelurahan in larva surveys.

This study aimed to improve learning activities and learning outcomes of students in class X MIA 1 of Senior High School (SMAN) 8 Bengkulu on the subject of chemical bonds through the application of Auditory, Intellectualy, and Repetition (AIR) learning models by using learning media with lottery card. This study is a classroom action research consisting of three cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, planning, action, observation and reflection. In collection of data was done by non-test and test methods, teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets and post-test. The data was processed by using simple quantitative data analysis techniques, the total value of each student, the average value, the percentage of absorptive power, learning completeness and the average observation score.The results of the study in the 2018/2019 school year showed that the application of the Auditory Intellectualy Repitition learning model using learning media with lottery  cards in class X MIA 1 of SMA Negeri 8 Kota Bengkulu could improve teacher activities, student activities and student chemistry learning outcomes. This can be seen from the average score of teacher activities in the first cycle to the third cycle in a row : 23, 27.5 and 31.5. Student activity also showed improvement in each cycle. The average score of student activity in cycle I to cycle III was sequentially 20, 25 29.5. Learning outcomes also increase in each cycle. This can be seen from the average value of the test results in each cycle, in the first cycle of 61.82, in the second cycle of 67.88, in the third cycle of 79.09. Classical absorption in cycle I, cycle II, cycle III are 61.82%, 67.88%, 79.09%, with the percentage of completeness learning in each cycle of 42%, 73%, and 87.8 %.
