This study developed an investigative learning support program that had two steps with multiple features including pillars of investigation for searching and grasping subjects of learning from multiple dimensions and then evaluated the goal achievement of the program. We examined literature and included reference materials and image maps, both with and without clues, and incorporated the tasks of revising or adding pillars of investigation in the program. Although there are some issues such as the consideration of instructions and prior support methods for students who have little experience in investigative learning, some students met the achievement goals of the program.

Abstract: Developing a Culture-Based Integrated Learning Model to ImproveStudents’ Appreciation of Local Culture. This study aims to develop a social studylearning model for elementary school students that can help them master subjectmatters as an effort to improve their appreciation of local culture, using an R & Dapproach consisting of three steps: preliminary study, model development andmodel validation. The subjects were teachers and students of elementary schools inBengkulu Province, Sumatra. The results show that the Culture-Based IntegratedLearning Model (CBILM) is an appropriate learning model to help students mastersubject matters as an effort to improve their appreciation of local culture. CBILM ismore capable of significantly improving students’ appreciation of local culture andtheir mastery of subject matters than the currently existing learning model.Keywords: learning model, social studies for elementary schools, cultureappreciation

<pre><em>The problem in this research is how the application of discovery learning model assisted by audio-visual media can improve understanding of social studies concepts in elementary school students? Purpose To determine the application of discovery learning model assisted by audio-visual media can improve understanding of social studies concepts in elementary school students. The object of this research is the fourth grade students of SD UMP. The data collection technique is carried out systematically with standard procedures, namely, learning outcome data is taken through tests at the end of each cycle and observation of student participation. The data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis of the formative test results. Then, the results of the calculations were consulted with the success criteria, to determine whether they were complete or not. Based on the results of the evaluation test from the first and second cycles, an increase in learning completeness was obtained. In the first cycle achieving learning outcomes with completeness 68%. In the second cycle the completeness of learning outcomes was 82%. Based on the findings and the results obtained in the study, it can be concluded that, through the discovery learning model assisted by audio-visual media, it can improve understanding of the social studies concept in elementary school students, but it still needs to be improved in cycle III.</em><em></em></pre>

The Impact

The purpose of this research is to know the impact of the implementation of an integrated moral-values instructional approach on the development of the elementary school students' moral character. The research was conducted in the form of a test-retest experiment. The results of this research showed that the implementation of the integrated scientific moral-values instructional approach on an instructional process of social studies is able to increase 67% of the improvement the moral- characters compared to the implementation scientific approach contained in the content of social studies to the student intact. The instructional approach is very effective to develop students’ moral-characters.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pop up book terhadap rasa nasionalisme siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar di SDN Palumbonsari III. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa SDN Palumbonsari III. Dengan mengambil sampel 1 kelas sebanyak 20 siswa. Hasil dari uji validitas angket nasionalisme pada mata pelajaran IPS diperoleh 20 butir instrumen yang dinyatakan valid dari 35 butir instrumen yang diujicobakan. Hasil dari uji reabilitas diperoleh rıı sebesar 0,906. Teknik pengumulan data melalui angket nasionalisme pada mata pelajaran IPS. Teknik analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis dilakukan dengan perhitungan statiska menggunakan uji-t. Hasil pengujian hipotesis, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikasi antara media pop up book pada nasionalisme siswa. Hal ini diperoh hasil rata-rata pretest sebesar 14,20 dan hasil posttest sebesar 15,35. Pada perhitungan T-test didapatkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 yang artinya nilai 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05, menunjukan bahwa hipotesis Ha diterima. Berdasarkan penelitian ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media pop up book terdapat nasionalisme siswa. Kata kunci : Media Pop Up Book , Nasionalisme, IPS This study aims to determine the effect of using pop up book media on the sense of nationalism of fourth grade elementary school students at SDN Palumbonsari III. This research is a type of quantitative research. The population used in this study were all students of SDN Palumbonsari III. By taking a sample of 1 class as many as 20 students. The results of the test of the validity of the nationalism questionnaire on social studies subjects obtained 20 items which were declared valid from the 35 items tested. The results of the reliability test obtained rıı of 0.906. Techniques for collecting data through nationalism questionnaires on social studies subjects. The data analysis technique to test the hypothesis is carried out by statistical calculations using the t-test. The results of hypothesis testing, there is a significant influence between pop up book media on student nationalism. This is obtained by the average pretest result of 14.20 and the posttest result of 15.35. In the T-test calculation, the sig value is obtained. (2-tailed) of 0.000, which means the value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05, indicating that the hypothesis Ha is accepted. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan model pembelajaran students fasilitator and explaining menggunakan media vlog dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SD pada mata pelajaran IPS di Kecamatan Panakkukang Kota Makassar, dan (2) Untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan model pembelajaran students fasilitator and explaining menggunakan media vlog dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa SD pada mata pelajaran IPS di Kecamatan Panakkukang Kota Makassar. Metode penelitian yang adalah Penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan quasi eksperimental design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SD kelas V di Kecamatan Panakkukang Kota Makassar. Sampel Penelitian ini berjumlah 40 orang siswa yang dibagi menjadi  dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kolompok kontrol dengan masing kelompok terdiri atas 20 orang siswa SD Inpres Pampang II dan 20 siswa SD Inpres Panaikang II/1 Kota Makassar. Setelah melakukan penelitian, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa (1) Berdasarkan p-Nilai dari posttest dari kedua kelompok diperoleh hasil lebih rendah dari alfa (0,00<0,05) dan derajat kebebasan adalah 38. Nilai t-test dari kedua kelompok pada posttest dapat disimpulkan ada perbedaan yang signifikan.  Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan model pembelajaran students fasilitator and explaining menggunakan media vlog secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam kelompok eksperimen. (2) Penerapan model pembelajaran students fasilitator and explaining menggunakan media vlog meningkatkan kreativitas siswa SD pada mata pelajaran IPS di Kecamatan Panakkukang Kota Makassar. This study aims (1) to identify the implementation of the student facilitator and explaining learning model using the vlog media in improving the learning outcomes of elementary school students in the social studies subject at Panakkukang District, Makassar City, and (2) to identify the implementation of the student facilitator and explaining learning model using the vlog media in increasing the creativity of elementary school students in the social studies subject at Panakkukang District, Makassar City. The research method is quantitative research using a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study were fifth-grade elementary school students in Panakkukang District, Makassar City. The sample of this study was 40 students who were divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental group and the control group, with each group consisting of 20 students from SD Inpres Pampang II and 20 students from SD Inpres Panaikang II/1, Makassar City. After conducting the research, the researcher concluded that (1) Based on the p-value of the posttest of the two groups, the result (0.00) was lower than 0.05 and the degree of freedom was 38. The t-test value of the two groups in the posttest could be concluded that there was a significant difference. This indicates that the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and, of course, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. This shows that the implementation of the student facilitator and explaining learning model using vlog media significantly improves student learning outcomes in the experimental group. (2) The implementation of the student facilitator and explaining learning model using vlog media also increases the creativity of elementary school students in the social studies subject in Panakkukang District, Makassar City
