This study investigates the Mechanical Engineering students’ perspectives on their E-learning experience using SPADA as the primary platform in learning English, including understanding its features and material delivered, difficulties during the learning process, and suggestions to improve the quality of learning English through SPADA ITN Malang. As the Indonesian government requires every school and institution to begin implementing E-learning, starting from March 2020, in the National Institute of Technology (ITN) Malang, all learning activities that have been performed conventionally converted into virtual learning using the web-based learning management system named SPADA ITN Malang. The findings show that SPADA ITN Malang has positive appraisal by the students in accessibility, comprehension, and satisfaction aspect. However, the difficulties found, which were internet connection and the lack of understanding of the material, should be addressed with suitable learning strategies to create a better English learning environment for the non-English department students.

Practice nurses in Australia are now funded to facilitate chronic condition management, including self-management support. Chronic disease management requires an established rapport, support and proactivity between general practitioners, patients and the practice nurses. To achieve this, training in shared decision making is needed. e-Learning supports delivery and achievement of such policy outcomes, service improvements and skill development. However, e-learning effectiveness for health care professionals’ is determined by several organisational, economic, pedagogical and individual factors, with positive e-learning experience linked closely to various supports. This paper reinforces previous studies showing nurses’ expanding role across general practice teams and reports on some of the challenges of e-learning. Merely providing practice nurses with necessary information via web-based learning systems does not ensure successful learning or progress toward improving health outcomes for patients.

One of the roles in information and communication technology to improve the quality of learning and teachingin educational organizations is to conduct a web-based learning facility that e-learning. In  general, there are two types of software that is generic and bespoke (customized), in this study we found that the university mercubuana customized using generic applications. Featured model is a way to define the functionality of the application based on the features required by user features, the features of these features can be grouped based on necessity (mandatory) and supplementary (optional). Preparation of requirements-based features proposed in this study is intended as the reference management application requirements e-learning mapped clearly and well. So it can be helpful to the development of future applications.

Web-based learning has become an important way to enhance learning and teaching, offering many learning opportunities. A limitation of current Web-based learning is the restricted ability of students to personalize and annotate the learning materials. Providing personalized tools and analyzing some types of learning behavior, such as students’ annotation, has attracted attention as a means to enhance Web-based learning. There has been a sharp increase in the volume and quality of electronic publishing on the web in the past few years. Many research journals are going on-line. The advantages of pelectronic publishing are obvious and enormous: instantaneous access to archives, paperless media and fast document search to name a few. However, annotation of documents in electronic form has been surprisingly underdeveloped. Existing word processing software offers some tools for electronic document annotation. But as of today, these annotation features are so modest and limited, that they lose out to the convenient common practice of working with paper versions of documents [1]. The results of a surveys conducted came as no surprise: the absolute majority of researchers and students prefer to print out an electronic paper before reading and annotating it. Our claim is that electronic annotations can not only be as convenient as their paper counterparts, but they are superior in terms of the additional advanced capabilities they can offer. This claim makes the basis of our Annotation Technology (AT). AT is a set of principles that form a foundation for development of advanced and successful electronic annotation systems.

User learning experience may be considered as one of the prominent factors shaping the adoption of web-based systems. Web-based learners interfacing with large amounts of information the rationale is to deduce the effect in the current web-based task environment. This research aimed to improve the quality of learning by providing teaching materials to students in an easier way, can be accessed at any time by implementing e-learning in MICE Studies Program Department of Business Administration. Generally students understand e-Iearning as a learning method that utilizes the Internet and online computer. Web-based courses are being introduced by higher education institutions at an increasing rate, such that a systematic shift from face-to-face teaching to web-based teaching has become evident. This enthusiasm in web-based education is primarily driven by cost savings and bottom line net profits to institutions. However, research work in the field still has a long way to demonstrate the effectiveness and benefits of web-based learning in general and more specifically, which student can benefit most. Regardless of all the benefits reported, difficulties are still encountered by students, professors, and institutions alike. In fact, many studies show that the web environment for learning is not appropriate for everyone. Therefore, the primary question should be “who is appropriate to take web-based courses?” This of course is in the context of success as it relates to enhanced learning experience and improved performance. Considering the reported benefits and difficulties, this paper identifies seven factors characterizing student success in a web-based learning environment. In addition, we use those factors within a decision support advisory system to help screen students for their appropriateness to take a web-based course. The system was used with few students and this paper reports on one case. The advisory system identifies unfavorable conditions for success to the student and suggests remedial activities to enhance the student’s success.

Web-based learning environments are being more widely used in higher education to support face to face teaching activities. Universities in Europe, the United States, and other developed countries extensively use e-learning platforms; however, this is still in the trial stage in Chinese universities and educational institutions. Moodle has been considered as an interactive e-learning tool to motivate students and involve them in resolving both individual and collaborative tasks. In order to improve class attendance and homework assignments submission, an e-course was developed via Moodle and proved to be a positive teaching/learning experience. Following this study, a series of conclusions can be drawn concerning its benefits in terms of stimulating students’ interest in homework tasks and increasing their frequency of interaction with teachers and among colleagues.

This empirical study focuses on private university students’ perceptions regarding the advantages and limitations of web-based blended learning using a learning website. The focus is on the use of a learning website as an additional learning method combines with the traditional face to face learning instructions. This new method of learning is known as Blended Learning. It is transforming learning and teaching in higher education institutions. The sample consist of 40 randomly picked university students from various programs. Two questions raised: (1) What are students’ perceptions of the advantages of web-based learning? (2) What are students’ perceptions regarding the limitations of web-based learning? The results indicate clear advantages of this new experience in broadening students’ views on different methods of learning. Furthermore, this study highlighted that the learning web serves as helpful simulations in which enable students to experience the real learning experience and enable students to interact with each other virtually. The component on advantages gathered students’ feedback on how the learning website provides an environment for more effective learning strategies. However, several research findings showed some gaps and limitations that need to be handled wisely. This paper is to discover the roles and challenges of web-based learning on students’ learning.
