In this paper we propose a fuzzy Laplace transform to solve fuzzy initial value problem under strongly generalized differentiability concept. The fuzzy Laplace transform of derivative was used to solve Nth-order fuzzy initial value problem. To illustrate applicability of proposed method we plot graphs for different values of r -level sets by using Mathematica Software.

The aim of the present paper is present a relatively new analytical method, called residual power series (RPS) method, for solving system of fuzzy initial value problems under strongly generalized differentiability. The technique methodology provides the solution in the form of a rapidly convergent series with easily computable components using symbolic computation software. Several computational experiments are given to show the good performance and potentiality of the proposed procedure. The results reveal that the present simulated method is very effective, straightforward and powerful methodology to solve such fuzzy equations.

This study aimed at solving a nonhomogeneous linear first order initial value problem by means of Laplace transform method in fuzzy environment. The conditions for a fuzzy function to be H−differentiable and gH−differentiability are well established. Finally, example is constructed to test the applicability or otherwise of the established results.

This paper studied an enhanced 3-point fully implicit super class of block backward differentiation formula for solving stiff initial value problems developed by Abdullahi & Musa and go further to established the necessary and sufficient conditions for the convergence of the method. The method is zero stable, A-stable and it is of order 5. The method is found to be suitable for solving first order stiff initial value problems

SynopsisDual extremum principles characterising the solution of initial value problems for the heat equation are obtained by imbedding the problem in a two-point boundary-value problem for a system in which the original equation is coupled with its adjoint. Bounds on quantities of interest in the original initial value problem are obtained. Such principles are examples of ones which can be obtained for a general class of linear operators on a Hilbert space.

The main objective of this paper is to solve fuzzy initial value problems, in which the fuzziness occurs in the initial conditions. The proposed approach, namely the modified variational iteration method, will be used to find the solution of fuzzy initial value problem approximately and to increase the rate of convergence of the variational iteration method. From the obtained results, as it is expected, the approximate results of the proposed method are more accurate than those results obtained without using the modified variational iteration method.
