S3E2 is a web-based geographic information system (GIS) designed for the visualization and analysis of the socioeconomic segregation of Chile’s elementary education system of Chile. It consists of a frontend developed in JavaScript using ReactJS, React-Redux, Leaflet and D3.js, an API developed in Go and ECHO, and a documentary database man- aged with MongoDB. Data comes from Chile’s Ministry of Education, while the provisions of Law 20.248 serve as indicators of vulnerability. S3E2 graphically shows different segregation indices found in the literature, calculated at the commune level. It also allows visualizing, at this same level, the educational institutions that compose it, their basic information, and time series associated with them. S3E2 is a flexible and fast web-based GIS, with a low cost of implementation, due to the usage of free software -or at least free licensing- tools, thus serving as a template for new web-based GIS in different contexts.

Universalization of elementary education is a cherished goal before our nation. Same is the case with our secondary education. Primary schools are educational institutions which are the main source educational data needed by education actors to carry out their duties and profession. All activities of recording or recording data in the school are called with administration, administration in schools there are many kinds and types, one of them student administration. Student administration, there are various kinds of activities carried out, starting from enrollment of new students until students leave the school. And management student administration currently running at SD Negeri 2 Lingkis is currently not very good management, especially in storage so that we need an information system Can support the activities of recording data and reports on school student administration. Purpose This research is to build an Elementary School Student Administration Information System which will be more effective and efficient to support all data recording and reporting activities which will be built with a web-based information system. The method used in the development of the school administration information system is Prototype where this prototype model consists of communication, planning, modeling, construction and delivery . The result of this research SD Negeri 2 Lingkis can make it easier for registranst, student, teacher, administrators and principals in student administration

Today, extremely fast developments take place in science and technology. These changes and developments reflect upon all systems and give rise to changes in some concepts and processes. Lifelong learning is one of the concepts affected by these changes. Educational institutions are considered to be responsible for spreading knowledge through e-learning, virtual university, Web-based education, distance education, which offer professional development. Therefore, distance education institutions have an important place in the education system of the future. However, innovations and developments have to be followed closely and operationally used for adaptation to the education system of the future within the distance education system as well. A scientific and realistic way of adapting to these developments is possible only if program development efforts are constant. Looking from this framework, teaching design, internationalization, entrepreneurship have given rise to differentiation in the program development of distance education. This is explored in this chapter.

El software presentado es un sistema de información que automatiza los procesos de las prácticas profesionales (o sus similares en otras instituciones de educación) con una aplicación basada en Internet, en donde los diferentes actores (alumno, universidad y empresa) obtienen la información que les compete de manera efectiva, ya que el sistema valida la información vertida en las bases de datos y ofrece seguridad en las transacciones realizadas. El producto tecnológico que resulta se nombró Sistema de Información para la Vinculación entre Instituciones de Educación – Empresa (SIVIEE), fue desarrollado con la idea de que redes de instituciones educativas posean una herramienta de vanguardia para la realización de prácticas profesionales. Permite la comunicación e intercambio de documentos electrónicamente con las respectivas firmas electrónicas, genera documentos PDF, mismos que son almacenados en el servidor. También abre la posibilidad de realizar minería de datos al almacenar la información de alumnos, empresas y proyectos. This paper involved the information system development, to automate the professional practices (or their counterparts in other universities) with a web-based application, where different actors (students, universities and companies) get the information they effectively compete them because the system validates the information contained in the databases and provides security transactions. The resulting technological product is called SIVIEE or Information System to Link University – Business, was developed with the idea that educational institutions have networks a cutting-edge tool for management of professional practices. Allows communication and electronic exchange of documents with the signatures respective, generates PDF documents that are stored on the server. The store information of students, companies and projects, open the possibility of data mining.

The aim of the article is to develop and improve the existing methodological approaches to custom programming of the information system AS «IRC» in the segment of inclusive education. The extended goals for the AS «IRC» functioning are provided, including the creation of digital lists of specialists, evidentiary information database for management decisions, information and telecommunication support, common information infrastructure for obtaining, processing and generating information, comprehensive information protection in the field of inclusive education, etc. It is noted that the AS «IRC» is managed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and a range of measures taken by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to improve the functioning of the system was presented. The functional responsibilities of SSI «IEA» in relation to the administration of the AS «IRC» are analyzed. Local administrators of the AS «IRC» are the officials of local education management bodies, their structural subdivisions and officials of the inclusive resource centers. The users of the AS «IRC» include officials of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and its structural subdivisions, institutions and organizations belonging to the sphere of management; inclusive resource centers; local education management bodies and educational institutions subordinated to them; other users who have been granted the right to access information in this system in the prescribed manner. The requirements to the users of the AS «IRC» are analyzed and the criteria of system operation reliability are grouped. The list of actions performed by the complex system of information protection in the AS «IRC» is given. Conclusions are made about the need to expand the functionality of the information system the AS «IRC» and optimize the e-data collection of reporting forms in the segment of inclusive education.

The output of research in the form of a proceeding published through a national seminar or an international conference has become a routine activity performed by lecturers as a researcher. The escalating atmosphere of disseminating the results of a study is directly proportional to the increasing number of universities, associations, or non-educational institutions organizing either a national seminar or an international conference. Each seminar organizer posts their seminar relevant information through official sites released by each organizer. However, to date, there has never been storage that can compile all the information pertinent to all national seminars held in Indonesia. This situation has resulted in the search done by search engines such as Google, Yahoo Search, Bing and others have not been efficient nor effective. Design of a web-based national seminar alert system is built to address this issue. This information system can display all the seminars held in Indonesia in the current year in storage and can be broken down based on the choices of topic, location, and date. Other additional facilities are that the application can send email messages to the application users as an early warning on the upcoming national seminar. Researchers can track each existing national seminar and always up-to-date on the most current national seminar.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the quality of web-based academic information system in FEB Unud and its impacts to users’ satisfaction. The users of this system are students, lectures, and academic staffs of FEB Unud. This study surveys the perception of students, lectures, and staffs and their satisfaction on the quality of the Academic Information System. The quality system includes three elements, namely the information quality, the system quality, and the service quality. The quality of this web-based academic information system is expected to affect the satisfaction of the users. For FEB Unud, the result of this study is expected to give the feedback for the faculty leaders in order to take further corrective measures. For other educational institutions, the study is expected to be a model of academic information system development.

New student registration is one of the processes that is normally carried out every year in educational institutions such as schools. New student registration is useful for screening prospective students who have been selected tobecome their students. In this research the process of registering new students at SMK Putra Rifara is done conventionally and has not been computerized, which allows many errors from writing data, stacking files and losing data. The formulation of the problem of this research is how to make a registration information system for SMK Putra Rifara. So the research method used is the method of observation, interviews, and library methods. The new student registration in formation system is buit with the PHP programming language and utilizes the MySQL database as a database server. The results of this study are web-based new student registration information systems that have the ability to provide data accuracy and ease for parents and prospective new students to obtain information about the school.

The political conditions in Indonesia which underwent a reformation in 1998 had an influence on position and the existence of Islamic education in Indonesia post-New order. In this era, the position of Islamic education is as a subsystem of national education. It cannot be separated from the changes in the education system regulation in this country, namely the National Education System regulation No. 2 1989 changed to Law of Sisdiknas No. 20 / 2003. These changes have a major impact on the progress and existence of Islamic education in Indonesia. This can be seen from the aspect of the authority of Islamic education which can actually be said to be the same as the policies in the previous legislation, namely in the education system, at least, there are still two ministries that manage educational institutions, namely the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) and the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag). Both institutions also organize education to tertiary level. In addition, there are basic, secondary, and tertiary education in the Ministry of Education and Culture, as well as the primary, intermediate, and tertiary education institutions administered by the Kemenag. This research intends to discuss the implications of political reform on the position of Islamic education in Indonesia.

The main purposes of this paper are to offer a low-cost solution that can be used in engineering education and to address the challenges that Industry 4.0 brings with it. In recent years, there has been a great shortage of engineering experts, and therefore it is necessary to educate the next generation of experts, but the hardware and software tools needed for education are often expensive and access to them is sometimes difficult, but most importantly, they change and evolve rapidly. Therefore, the use of cheaper hardware and free software helps to create a reliable and suitable environment for the education of engineering experts. Based on the overview of related works dealing with low-cost teaching solutions, we present in this paper our own low-cost Education Kit, for which the price can be as low as approximately EUR 108 per kit, for teaching the basic skills of deep learning in quality-control tasks in inspection lines. The solution is based on Arduino, TensorFlow and Keras, a smartphone camera, and is assembled using LEGO kit. The results of the work serve as inspiration for educators and educational institutions.
