With the rapid growth in current technology, academic systems in higher education has been computerized. Academic who has a computerized system is considered more effective. The computerized system has can be used to plan the academic activities of students for taking Strata 1 at the College of Technology Adisutjipto. The system uses Decision Support System (DSS) to give some conditions on Best First Search (BFS) method so that the method can be used in a subsequent advisory list of the best courses in accordance with the terms that have been obtained, which will help students in making academic decisions. Of the BFS method, students are given a solution in the form of a list next semester of courses that can be taken in accordance with the terms obtained from the previous semester in the form of Performance Index and the solution was given until the end of the lecture the student and provides the calculation of the total cost of each semester.

Abstract This work is an attempt to contribute to the knowledge and guidance of young people (lyceum graduates, higher education students and recent graduates) regarding important issues related to their career and vocational prospects. These issues are related to major relevant questions such as 'what' and 'where' to study, as well as the contents and the prospects of all provided specializations by the departments of Greek institutes of higher education. This article focuses on the analysis and the design of a mobile-based decision support system (DSS) to assist its users in getting thoroughly informed about HE studies in Greece, and eventually in choosing their vocational prospects. An extensive literature and applications review has revealed that there are no such DDS systems, giving to this work an innovative character. The article contains all main elements of system's architecture and design including the essential technical information, presents the main features and representative screenshots of the mobile-based application and comes to conclusions and future suggested work.

One effort in the development of information technology today requires fast and accurate information in its implementation. in the assessment of the work ability of well-performing and poor employees with the support of a decision support system it produces one of the implementations of the development of information technology in improving the quality of the company's work. where the decision making process determines employee demotion is still done manually. still there are often a number of errors such as misdirection. Therefore, to make an assessment in making a decision to choose a decent demotion employee based on the assessment carried out in the field. Then the decision support system that will be built with a computerized system so that decision making is done quickly and accurately. For this decision support system, use the Profile Matching method or matching the demotion of employee demos with the profile of the employee assessed with the specified Criteria. Making an application program must be made carefully, so that it looks easy to understand and proven useful and useful for users. the system built can help PT. Nafasindo in determining the demotion of employees who are decent and can reduce errors in determining the demotion of employees

Increase of Functional Position and the rank of lecturer is something that must be done by the lecturers. Because it is a performance parameter of the lecturer. Periods and rules for the increase of functional jabtan and lecturer rank have been arranged in Permenpan and RB No. 17 Year 2013 JO No 46 Year 2013. For that need the existence of management and service from Higher Education to monitor its lecturers to be in a timely manner to perform functional positions and lecturer rank. In support of the above, it is necessary that the supporting technology capable of assisting the service in the university. The technology we built a decision support system for the promotion of functional positions and rank of lecturers, to facilitate the management and service to lecturers in monitoring the process of promotion of functional position and rank of lecturer. By system analysis using system flowchart and Data flow Diagram

The Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in Padang always conducts an annual assessment of outstanding lecturers. In terms of assessment, it must be based on the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which includes performance as well as personality and social achievements. The process of selecting outstanding lecturers at the Padang Ministry of Health Poltekkes is still manual, therefore it is necessary to design an application of a decision support system to determine outstanding lecturers using computerization using the profile matching method. The application is expected to help the campus in making decisions regarding the determination of outstanding lecturers with predetermined criteria and values. The results of this study get the final value of 4.84 obtained by the lecturer Dosen 2. Then from this analysis will be able to help the campus in determining the outstanding lecturers
