PT. Blambangan Foodpackers Indonesia is one of the big companies in the Banyuwangi area and is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry that is a company processing canned fish. The number of constraints in planning raw material inventories that cause the occurrence of excess or accumulation of raw materials and shortages causes freezing of operational costs. The implementation of the material requirement planning (MRP) system is expected to be able to find out the optimal amount of raw material inventory and the right ordering time to meet production needs with optimal costs. This study was aimed to determine the exact lot size technique based on inventory costs and to compare the MRP method with inventory in the company based on total inventory costs. The research method used was the determination of the lot size and MRP system. The results showed that the lot for lot method for ASCK cans, ASCB cans, ASTB cans, and pasta, while EOQ for ASTK cans, ASEPK cans, sugar, salt and flour. The MRP system in each raw material can be used as an indicator to minimize total inventory costs when compared to the company's method during the previous period.

Inventory management without Material Requirement systems in CV. Bangun Cipta Artha resulted in the lot size for each order of raw materials not optimal. One concept that can be used to plan and control raw materials is the Material Requirement Planning. This study is to determine the number of sizes of raw material orders, the exact order time, the method that produces the lowest cost for each raw material, and the effect of using MRP on inventory costs. This research conducted on 160x200cm spring bed products. Data was analyzed by making production master schedules, determining net requirements, determining lot size, and making MRP tables. Based on the results, the determination the best lot sizing is the order quantiy period which results in a total inventory cost of Rp. 26,475,220 where the total cost is lower, compared to lot for lot method which Rp. 43,464,000. part period balancing Rp. 33,106,576, and conventional method Rp.49,472,912. <p>This research aims to determine the planning of raw material requirements for LM-Hamburger Bun Jempol product at PT. Lotte Shopping Indonesia. This research uses Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method with Silver-Meal, Least Total Cost (LTC), and Least Unit Cost (LUC) techniques to calculate the optimal lot size, reorder point time and calculate the smallest total order costs and holding costs. The observation period was carried out for three months, starting from February to April 2018. The data used in this research were product demand data from February to April 2018, and raw material inventory data at the end of April 2018. Comparison of the three techniques it is based on the smallest total inventory costs. The results of these comparisons have been found which have the lowest total cost of the LTC technique of Rp. 17,220,819 while the total cost with Silver-Meal technique is Rp. 17,289,584, and with the LUC technique amounting to Rp. 18,386,458. Therefore, the LTC technique is more economical than the LUC and Silver-Meal techniques because it has the smallest total cost.</p>

A company often has difficulty in controlling raw materials,it could be surplus or minus. Preventing these problem,we made a problem solving. Material needs planning is made for efficient and effective materials application  in the execution of work, so the problems because of material is avoided.this  research purpose is planning  and controlling raw material and supplier selection by Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method. Material Requirement Planning is a method for determining materials or components which  make or buy, how much it is needed and when it is needed. The result using the calculation by MRP method show Fix Period Requirement (FPR) is the best method, because the calculation of Fix Period Requirement method got the lowest total cost that is  Rp.18,722,190,090, -.FPR is obtained a profit about Rp. 6.096.088.915,00 or about 25% more efficient than the method applied company.

This study discusses the application of the material requirements planning (MRP) method in the planning of raw materials in a furniture company. The purpose of this research is to know the planning of raw materials for furniture products in UD. AA, determine the most suitable inventory model to be applied to material inventory planning and analyze the role of the MRP system in raw material procurement planning. The forecasting method used is the quantitative method of time series analysis, determining the master production schedule, calculating lot sizing (LFL, EOQ, POQ methods). From determining the Master Production Schedule, it is found that the cabinet production plan for the next three months is 4 units per period or week, and based on the calculation of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) it can be seen what components are needed for the manufacture of cabinets, how many and when each component is required. Therefore it is obtained that the total raw material requirement for wood for the next three months is 11.34 m³.

Inventory has an important role in business activities. This is because inventory has an effect on changes in the production market and anticipates price changes in the demand for many goods. PT. Barkah Jaya Mandiri is a company engaged in manufacturing where the management of inventory at the company is still done conventionally. This causes various problems such as the occurrence of discrepancies in the stock of goods, discrepancies in data and final reports as well as obstacles in the production process in the event of a shortage or excess of raw materials. (Material Requirement Planning) in order to overcome the problems that occur in the company. The combination of the SDLC model and data collection techniques including observation, interviews and literature study were also carried out in this study in order to achieve the system that will be built to suit the targeted needs. With this system, the management of inventory data at this company can be done easily and accurately and save time compared to the previous system, so that the procurement of manufacturing raw materials is optimal and employee performance is better.

OPQ is a company engaged in the automotive manufacturing industry. The company produces bolts for the safety area, it is related to the lower body of the four-wheeled vehicle. PT. OPQ was established in 2014 and today has already been the supplier for several major automotive companies in Indonesia. The demand of PT OPQ that must be fulfilled is increasing as the amount of consumer is increasing too. Due to the high demand, so the raw material stockout occurs. This make the company's service level is below the standard.   This study involved 48 sku of material raw materials that have normal distributed demand. Inventory policy applied in this research is periodic review (R, s, S) with the aim to minimize total cost of inventory and improve service level of company.   The result of this research was found to decrease total inventory cost by 15% with the value of existing inventory cost Rp1.100.879.479,- to Rp 936.061.349,- . In addition, service level at PT. OPQ has increased with the value of existing conditions 85% to 99%.   Keywords—Raw Material, Periodic Review, Probabilistic, Service Level, Stock out

The increasing competition in the manufacturing industry caused increasing inconsumer demand of the quality and quantity of a good product. Therefore, manufacturing companies must have reliable services, policies and product qualities to satisfy its customers. So it needs to be supported by efficient production system and inventory system. To able to create an efficient production system then need a good raw material inventory planning. This research aims to compere how efficiently in planning raw materials inventory between Wagner-Within Algorithm with the actual concept that applied to PT X, Sidoarjo. The methodology of this research is qualitative descriptive research. The findings this research is engaged in packaging (woven bag and jumbo bag) with main raw materials such as plastic ore and supporting material in inner, thread, additive, and pigment. Based on the result of the analysis is known that the actual concept of the company gives the total inventory cost IDR 3.151.000.000 with the frequency of ordering 12 times while WagnerWithin Algorithm method provides a more efficient total inventory cost of Rp. 2.685.821.101 with8 times the frequency of ordering and can savings of 14.8% of total raw material inventory cost.

Processing shallots into fried onions is one of the agro-industry businesses with the main raw material of shallots. The fried onion home industry is a downstreaming of agricultural commodities by providing added value from the raw materials of shallots, in the process of production competition the industry must conduct management that will produce raw materials to ensure obtaining products. The purpose of this study was to determine the operating income of fried onions and determine the management of raw materials in the "Uda Saprudin" fried onion industry in Bengkulu City. The method used in this study is the calculation of income, R / C ratio, and management of raw materials using EOQ, Safety Stock, Reorder Points, lead time and total inventory costs. This research is a case study conducted in February 2019 with the data used is the data of the past year (2018). From the research results obtained R / C value of 1.36 and the management of raw material requirements recognized EOQ value: 6.546 Kg, Reorder Point value: 6.329 Kg / Month, lead time: 0.5 months and Total inventory costs: Rp. 163,676,047 per year.

Introduction: Material Requirement Planning (MRP) is a technique or a logical procedure to translate the Master Production Schedule (MPS) of the finished goods or end item into the net requirements for some of the components needed to implement the MPS. MRP is used to determine the amount of material needs to support the Master Production Schedule and when the material needs to be scheduled.Methods: The study is conducted on 13 August 2018 until 12 September 2018 at the installation Nutrition RSIA Kendangsari Merr Surabaya. Collecting data in this study using several methods, including: observation- This stage is conducted in all parts related to the object of study, starting from the Purchase Order (PO) by a head cook up to raw material stored in the storage, discussion- author interviews and collects data to communicate and discuss with the respondents. Respondents in this study are the head of the nutrition unit and head cook of RSIA who have the authority doing the purchasing.Results: Planning of procurement of raw materials to the menu rawon in RSIA can use the Exponential Smoothing method. The discussion has compared two methods of forecasting and the results are consistent with the demand’s patterns of Simple Moving Average method, Exponential Smothing. Forecasting has the lowest error rate by using Exponential Smoothing. The second conclusion is a technique of determining the appropriate Material Requirement Planning in raw material procurement to menu rawon in RSIA is using Lot for Lot.

This study aims to analyze the optimal usage volume of iron raw plates required by PT. Misitama for the period of 2017. PT. Misitama is a company engaged in the field of tank manufacturing industry for the needs of manufacturing and mining industries. The study analyzed the total cost of Iron Iron raw material supply which must be used by PT. Misitama during 2017, analyzing reorder point, safety stock and raw material inventory control using EOQ method. The data used is the data of September 2017 - October 2017. The data used is secondary data derived from corporate data. The results show that the amount of raw material purchases during 2017 if using the EOQ method becomes lower. The optimal purchase of raw materials to be done by the company in 2017 is 14.8 m2 with the frequency of ordering to be done as much as 8 times. The quantity of safety stock (Safety Stock) that must be available in warehouse of 7 m2 and reorder point (reorder point) EOQ that is when the warehouse inventory is only 8.88 m2. Total inventory cost for production process issued by PT. Misitama by using EOQ method becomes smaller than the total cost of previous inventory.
