Diabetes is a chronic disease that occurs either when the pancreas does not produce insulin or when the body is not effective enough in producing insulin. The International Diabates Federation (IDF) shows that the number of people who suffer diabetes in Indonesia is estimated at 10 million and half seventh rank highest in the world, Indonesia is the 4th country with the highest prevalence of diabetes in the world after India, China and the United States. The phenomenon found in the Tanjung Buntung Public Health Center working area in 2017 was 420 of them, 206 men and 214 people. This study aims to determine the influence of diabetic foot gymnastics on blood sugar levels with the research design using the Quasi experimental method with pretest and posttest without control research method, by sample collection using total sampling the sample of 20 respondents. The statistical test in this study uses the Paired T-Test which is tested first in the Shapiro-Wilk normality test. The results of it study indicate a decrease of 196.85 with a value of ρ-value of 0.000 or > 0.05. obtained a decrease average in blood sugar levels before diabetic foot exercises 239.60 mg / dL with poor criteria and after exercise 196.85 mg / dL with moderate criteria. Therefore it can be concluded that there is the influence of diabetic foot exercise on blood sugar levels in type 2 DM patients. Advice from researchers is expected to always be held diabetic foot exercise ini Tanjung Buntung’s health center to  reduce blood sugar levels in patient with type 2 diabetesmellitus

Diabetes mellitus is a group of symptoms that arise in a person caused by an increase in blood glucose levels due to reduced insulin secretion are progressive background by the retention of insulin. Gymnastics diabetic foot is needed in the management of diabetes mellitus, regular physical exercise can lower blood sugar levels. To examine the effect of diabetic foot gymnastics to decrease blood sugar levels in patients with Diabetes Mellitus as type 2 Clubs Prolanis Sanang Barigas BPJS Palangkaraya. Method This study is a quantitative research study design Preexperimental Design, the design of the study one-group pre-post-test design. The number of respondents 30 people. Retrieving data using a questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS. Statistical test using the Wilcoxon Signed RankTest. Results Statistical test results obtained Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test average value (mean) pretest / before gymnastics at 6:06 and posttest leg / foot after gymnastics at 18.93 while the value of the probability p value or sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 <0.05 (0.00 less than 0.05) so that Ho refused and Ha accepted which means there is a significant difference between random blood sugar levels before and after exercisefeet. Conclusion regular physical exercise and the effect on blood sugar levels drop as in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in prolanis club Sanang barigas BPJS Palangkaraya. so that exercisers diabetic foot is needed in the management of diabetesmellitus.

AbstractDiabetes mellitus is a condition of increasing blood sugar levels that exceed 140 mg/dl. The purpose of this case study is to describe the application of giving diabetic foot exercises to reduce blood sugar levels in the body in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The design of this scientific paper uses a case study method with 2 clients suffering from type 2 diabetes mellitus with blood sugar above 140 mg. /dl in Poncol Village and in Karangsari Village, Batang Regency. The intervention carried out was giving diabetic foot exercises for 4 days and once a day. Evaluation was carried out to determine the decrease in blood glucose using a glucometer. The results of the study showed a decrease in blood sugar in both clients, for client 1 there was a decrease in blood sugar from 220mg/dl to 135mg/dl and for client 2 there was a decrease in blood sugar from 250mg/dl to 137mg/dl. The conclusion of this case study shows that diabetic foot exercises can reduce blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Suggestions for health workers are expected to teach diabetic foot exercises to reduce blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Keywords: blood sugar, diabetes mellitus, foot exercise AbstrakDiabetes mellitus merupakan kondisi kenaikan kadar gula darah yang melebihi 140mg/dl.

SummaryWe have demonstrated previously that fibrin enhanced plasmin formation by the vascular plasminogen activator was significantly impaired, when components isolated from the plasma of three uncontrolled diabetic patients (type I) were used to study plasminogen activation in vitro. In the present study it can be demonstrated that functional properties of the vascular plasminogen activators as well as of the plasminogens from the same three diabetic patients are significantly improved after normalization of blood sugar levels and improvement of HbAlc values. Most pronounced the Km of diabetic vascular plasminogen activator in the presence of fibrin returned to normal values, and for diabetic plasminogen the prolonged lag period until maximal plasmin formation occurred was shortened to almost control values. From these data we conclude that the observed abnormalities of in vitro fibrinolysis are not primarily associated with the diabetic disease, but might be secondary to metabolic disorders caused by diabetes.

Cadmium (Cd) is widespread in the environment. Cd toxicity targets liver and renal tissues and generates oxidative stress. Medicinal plants produce antioxidants scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) and chelate heavy metals. This study aimed to investigate the preventive effects of Myrtus communis leaves hydro-methanol extract (HME) and aqueous extract (AE) on Cdinduced toxicity. The experiments were carried out, during 30 days, on male rats; GR1 (controls), GR2 treated with CdCl2 (18 mg/kg), GR3 co-treated with HME (1 g/kg) and Cd (18 mg/kg), GR4 co-treated with AE (1 g/kg) and Cd (18 mg/kg), GR5 with HME and GR6 with AE. Cd induced changes in biochemical parameters (transaminases, urea, creatinine and blood sugar)related to hepato renal function, increased tissue mortification and decreased animals’ body weight. While the treatment animals, with M. communis leaves (HME) or (AE), regulated blood sugar levels. Hepatic steatosis and loss of glomeruli were particularly induced either by Cd or a co-treatment with Cd and plant extracts. M. communis extracts (HME and EA) can regulate blood sugar levels and prevent cadmium accumulation.
