The paper deals with the issue of delays of public transport vehicles at the signal controlled junctions. Based on the road traffic survey results, the average values of vehicle delays were determined. By using those values, it is possible to define time savings for the vehicles and mainly for passengers that are transported. The time savings were determined based on the relationships and coefficients defined in this paper.

This study is devoted to determining the geometric, kinematic and dynamic characteristics of a vehicle. To this purpose, it is proposed to use a complex approach applying the models of deformable body mechanics for describing the oscillatory movements of a vehicle and the computer vision algorithms for processing a series of object images to determine the state parameters of a vehicle on the road. The model of the vehicle vertical oscillations is produced by means of the viscoelastic elements and the dry friction element that fully enough represent the behavior of the sprung masses. The introduced algorithms and models can be used as a part of a complex system for monitoring and controlling the road traffic. In addition, they can determine both the speed of the car and its dynamic parameters and the driving behavior of the individual drivers.

But in reality, in the observations of the authors of the vehicles that we encountered, both four-wheeled and two-wheeled, almost every evening until evening, vehicles were found parked on the Flyover on the Sudirman street, Tuanku Tambusai, Sukarno Hatta and HR Subrantas. While the government has clearly provided a symbol of prohibition to stop on the bridge and in the traffic law it clearly states that everyone driving a motorized vehicle on the road is obliged to comply with the stopping and parking requirements. This is dangerous because the flyover is built only for passing vehicles and the vehicle is prohibited from parking or stopping along the body of the flyover because the flyover is not prepared not for stopping vehicles. This type of research is research conducted by identifying the law on how the effectiveness of the law applies in society. The conclusion is that the implementation of the prohibition on parking for motorized vehicle riders in Pekanbaru City flyovers based on Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation which results in disruption of road functions based on Law Number 22 of 2009 is less effective and maximal. This is because there are still many people who do not know about these regulations, Lack of Socialization of Law Number 22 Year 2009 from Law Enforcement Officials, Lack of firm law enforcement officials in implementing criminal sanctions, and Lack of Legal Awareness of the Community itself. Obstacles Faced in the Implementation of the Parking Prohibition for Motorized Vehicle Riders on Flyover in Pekanbaru City Based on Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation are the Legal Substance, Legal Structure, Legal Culture and Facilities or Facilities and the limited facilities and infrastructure. Efforts made to overcome obstacles in the Implementation of the Parking Prohibition for Motorized Vehicle Riders at Pekanbaru City Flyovers Based on Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation are that peace and traffic order is by fostering mutual assistance and assistance among the enforcement officers and the public, the public workers' office of transportation without neglecting their respective interests in the framework of increasing obedience and compliance, thus the Government's hope of improving services in traffic order in a peaceful and orderly condition in the regions can be realized. Apart from that, the implementation of traffic control, tranquility and orderliness can also be carried out by utilizing public facilities and facilities, increasing legal awareness, increasing the number of police personnel in the traffic sphere and repressive actions.

The aim of this research is to find the alternative solutions that could be used to handle the traffic congestions in the Denpasar City and the priorities of each alternative. The  main problem of this research is determining the appropriateness of alternatives and its criterias that could be used to set the priorities of the alternatives. Based on the interview with the  transport experts of Denpasar City, there are three main factors that affect the traffic congestion i.e (1) the ratio of the volume of vehicles on the road capacity, (2) the existing traffic management, and the traffic regulation . The  interviewee also suggest that there are six alternatives that can be used to handle traffic congestion. These alternatives are (1)improve the public transport system, (2) use technology to monitor and enforce the rules,(3) create a  3 in 1 rule, (4) create  road pricing rule,(5) optimize the  existing management  in the road, and (6) create rule of road zoning. Based on the calculations by Analytic Network Process (ANP) method, improving the public transport system is the best alternative among others that is appropriate to handle traffic congestion in the Denpasar City.

The rise of motorized vehicle modification can have a negative impact if there is a lack of understanding from the public, which can endanger motorists on the road. Every party who wishes to modify a motorized vehicle is required to have a permit as required in Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation. The problems in this thesis are 1) what are the types of motor vehicle modifications that violate traffic regulations 2) How is the law enforcement against motorized vehicle modifications that violate the traffic regulations by the Gianyar Police Traffic Police The purpose of this research is to add insight into motorized vehicle modification in accordance with applicable regulations. This study uses an empirical method and uses a sociology of law approach. The results showed that the modification of motorized vehicles had to be subjected to a retype test, and, tit did not carry out the type test it would have violated Article 50 paragraph (1) of Law Number 22 Year 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation. Then law enforcement on motor vehicle modification has been optimal, but there are still several factors that hinder enforcement.

The vigorous motorization process is taking place in a growing number of countries year by year, and the number of people involved in road traffic is constantly increasing. The growth of the vehicle fleet and the volume of transportation lead to an increase in traffic that in the context of cities with a historical build-up leads to a traffic problem. It is particularly acute at the junctions of the road network. There is an increase in transport delays, queues, and congestion, causing reduce in speed, excessive fuel consumption, and increased wear-out of vehicle components and assemblies. These questions are constantly analyzed both in theoretical and practical terms. Today, the negative effects of motorization cannot be eliminated, and effective measures need to be developed to reduce their negative impact on the urban environment. An irrational location of public transport stops leads to a significant increase in transport delays. Respectively, the objective is to determine the optimal layout of the public transport stops on the street network, taking into account the existing and designed traffic conditions.

One of the most important components of the territorial socio-economic complex of a city (especially a large one) is the system of urban passenger transport, which, in turn, consists of two subsystems: urban public transport and personal vehicles. In 2000-2020. many large and medium-sized cities in Russia are going through a period of active motorization. Izhevsk is no exception in this regard. The level of motorization of the population has been increasing in recent years both in the city and in the Udmurt Republic as a whole. There is a growing need to reduce the flow of personal vehicles towards more active use of public transport. Urban public transport (for all its significant scale) has, as a rule, 2-3 owners and therefore is largely manageable, which cannot be said about personal vehicles. It is not possible to force car owners to switch to public transport by order. But it is possible to create such conditions when the resident himself does not use his own car, but gives preference to public transport. For example, to organize the work of a single parking space, in which the placement of paid parking lots will make it unprofitable to visit many of the most attractive objects (especially in the central part of the city) by private vehicle. An example of such relevant work is shown in the proposed article. By order of the Administration of Izhevsk, the authors of the article have identified the most optimal locations for paid car parks. The choice was determined based on the results of step-by-step work to assess: the location of the potential of Izhevsk public transport, the intensity of traffic flows, the density of the population, the availability of existing parking areas, points of attraction for vehicles.

Many people lose their life and/or are injured due to accidents or unexpected events taking place on road networks. Besides traffic jams, these accidents generate a tremendous waste of time and fuel. Undoubtedly, if the vehicles are provided with timely and dynamic information related to road traffic conditions, any unexpected events or accidents, the safety and efficiency of the transportation system with respect to time, distance, fuel consumption and environmentally destructive emissions can be improved. In the field of computer and information science, Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANET) have recently emerged as an effective tool for improving road safety through propagation of warning messages among the vehicles in the network about potential obstacles on the road ahead. VANET is a research area which is in more demand among the researchers, the automobile industries and scientists to discover about the loopholes and advantages of the vehicular networks so that efficient routing algorithms can be developed which can provide reliable and secure communication among the mobile nodes. In this paper, we propose a Groundwork Based Ad hoc On Demand Distance Vector Routing Protocol (GAODV) focus on how the Road Side Units (RSU’s) utilized in the architecture plays an important role for making the communication reliable. In the interval of finding the suitable path from source to destination the packet loss may occur and the delay also is counted if the required packet does not reach the specified destination on time. So to overcome delay, packet loss and to increase throughput GAODV approach is followed. The performance parameters in the GAODV comes out to be much better than computed in the traditional approach.

Abstract Public health professionals (PHP) have a dual task in climate change. They should persuade their colleagues in clinical medicine of the importance of all the issues covered by the GD. The fact that the health sector contributes to the overall emissions of 4.4% speaks to the lack of awareness within the health sector itself. The issue of providing adequate infrastructure for the health sector is essential. Strengthening the opportunities and development of the circular economy within healthcare is more than just a current issue. The second task of PHP is targeting the broader population. The public health mission is being implemented, inter alia, through numerous activities related to environmental monitoring and assessment of the impact on health. GD should be a roadmap for priorities and actions in public health, bearing in mind: an ambitious goal of climate neutrality, an insistence on clean, affordable and safe energy, a strategy for a clean and circular economy. GD provides a framework for the development of sustainable and smart transport, the development of green agriculture and policies from field to table. It also insists on biodiversity conservation and protection actions. The pursuit of zero pollution and an environment free of toxic chemicals, as well as incorporating sustainability into all policies, is also an indispensable part of GD. GD represents a leadership step in the global framework towards a healthier future and comprises all the non-EU members as well. The public health sector should consider the GD as an argument for achieving goals at national levels, and align national public health policies with the goals of this document. There is a need for stronger advocacy of health and public-health interests along with incorporating sustainability into all policies. Achieving goals requires the education process for healthcare professionals covering all of topics of climate change, energy and air pollution to a much greater extent than before.

Road traffic accidents are a leading cause of premature deaths and globally pose a severe threat to human lives. In particular, pedestrians crossing the road present a major cause of vehicle–pedestrian accidents in South Korea, but we lack dense behavioral data to understand the risk they face. This paper proposes a new analytical system for potential pedestrian risk scenes based on video footage obtained by road security cameras already deployed at unsignalized crosswalks. The system can automatically extract the behavioral features of vehicles and pedestrians, affecting the likelihood of potentially dangerous situations after detecting them in individual objects. With these features, we can analyze the movement patterns of vehicles and pedestrians at individual sites, and understand where potential traffic risk scenes occur frequently. Experiments were conducted on four selected behavioral features: vehicle velocity, pedestrian position, vehicle–pedestrian distance, and vehicle–crosswalk distance. Then, to show how they can be useful for monitoring the traffic behaviors on the road, the features are visualized and interpreted to show how they may or may not contribute to potential pedestrian risks at these crosswalks: (i) by analyzing vehicle velocity changes near the crosswalk when there are no pedestrians present; and (ii) analyzing vehicle velocities by vehicle–pedestrian distances when pedestrians are on the crosswalk. The feasibility of the proposed system is validated by applying the system to multiple unsignalized crosswalks in Osan city, South Korea.

Continuous, automatic measurements of road traffic volume allow the obtaining of information on daily, weekly or seasonal fluctuations in road traffic volume. They are the basis for calculating the annual average daily traffic volume, obtaining information about the relevant traffic volume, or calculating indicators for converting traffic volume from short-term measurements to average daily traffic volume. The covid-19 pandemic has contributed to extensive social and economic anomalies worldwide. In addition to the health consequences, the impact on travel behavior on the transport network was also sudden, extensive, and unpredictable. Changes in the transport behavior resulted in different values of traffic volume on the road and street network than before. The article presents road traffic volume analysis in the city before and during the restrictions related to covid-19. Selected traffic characteristics were compared for 2019 and 2020. This analysis made it possible to characterize the daily, weekly and annual variability of traffic volume in 2019 and 2020. Moreover, the article attempts to estimate daily traffic patterns at particular stages of the pandemic. These types of patterns were also constructed for the weeks in 2019 corresponding to these stages of the pandemic. Daily traffic volume distributions in 2020 were compared with the corresponding ones in 2019. The obtained results may be useful in terms of planning operational and strategic activities in the field of traffic management in the city and management in subsequent stages of a pandemic or subsequent pandemics.
