Six commonly available Indian plants extracts on Channa striata indicate that acetylcholine synthesis andNacetylcholinesterase inhibition were observed in the heart, brain, muscle and liver tissues. The possibility of using the toxic substances as fish bait is discussed.

This scientific work is devoted to the study of the results of the action of pesticides on the organism of experimental animals. At the beginning, a brief review of the literature devoted to this problem is given. The author also describes a method for determining the content of toxic substances in the liver tissues of experimental animals. The corresponding conclusions on the simplicity of the method are made.

Background: Heavy metals may adversely affect the aquatic flora and fauna. Industrial effluents contributing heavy metals on entering into aquatic environment causes biochemical alterations in the fish. Heavy metals are natural components of the aquatic environment, but heavy metal levels have increased due to anthropogenic sources like industrial effluents, agricultural runoff and wastes of mining activities. All the pollutants affect the physicochemical characteristics of the water bodies, sediment and biological components and thus the quality and quantity of fish stocks. Methods: The present study was to assess the protein, amino acid, aspartate transaminase and alanine transaminase levels in muscle and liver tissues of Channa striata, exposure to sublethal (15, 20 and 30 mg/L) concentrations of zinc sulphate for the period of 10, 20, 30 and 40 days. Protein levels were estimated by Lowry et al. (1951). Method free amino acids were estimated by Moore and Stein (1954). Method the enzymes ALT and AST were estimated by the strategy of Rietman and Frankel (1957) as described by Bergmeyer (1965).Result: The fish exposed to zinc sulphate showed a decrease in the protein levels and increase in the amino acid, AST and ALT levels for 10, 20, 30 and 40 days in muscle and liver tissues. The observed mean data were statistically significant at P less than 0.05 of Student's ‘t’ test. The present study indicated alterations in biochemical parameters of Channa striata due to intoxication of zinc sulphate.

Certified reference materials (CRM) composed of propyl (11383-2019) and isopropyl (11384-2019) alcohols solutions were created for validation of measurement procedures and control of measurement errors of measurement results of mass concentrations of toxic substances (alcohol) in biological objects (urine, blood) and water. Two ways of establishing the value of the certified characteristic – mass consentration of propanol-1 or propanol-2 have been studied. The results obtained by the preparation procedure and comparison with the standard are the same within the margin of error.

Eccado adalah produk olahan yang dibuat dari daging atau udang yang dicincang dengan penambahan tepung dan bumbu-bumbu. Pada umumnya Eccado diolah dari daging ayam, untuk menggantikan eccado ayam maka dicari sumber alternatif baru salah satunya digunakan ikan Gabus karena memiliki daging yang banyak, tebal dan putih. Potensi eccado ikan Gabus ini sangat tinggi baik aspek ekonomi juga kandungan gizinya karena mengandung omega 3 dan omega 6. Ikan Gabus bisa dimanfaatkan dengan cara langsung mengolahnya menjadi beberapa jenis makanan atau mengawetkannya melalui proses penggaraman dan pengeringan. Masih belum banyaknya diversifikasi bentuk pengolahan ikan hasil usaha budidaya khususnya ikan Gabus menjadi makanan olahan lain juga disebabkan karena masih minimnya informasi tentang teknologi pengolahan hasil perikanan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah : 1) Selama ini mitra belum mengetahui variasi tentang Teknologi Hasil Perikanan karena terbatasnya pengetahuan dan informasi yang diterima serta keterampilan yang dimiliki. 2) Mitra juga belum pernah mendapatkan pelatihan dan demonstrasi tentang pembuatan eccado dari ikan air tawar dalam hal ini ikan jenis ikan family Channidae Menurut SNI 7756 : 2013 dapat didefinisikan Eccado ikan merupakan produk olahan hasil perikanan dengan menggunakan lumatan daging ikan/udang dan atau surimi minimum 30%, tepung dan bahan-bahan lainnya, dibentuk dan dibungkus dengan kulit pangsit. Sedangkan Eccado merupakan salah satu jenis olahan fish jelly produk dengan menggunakan kulit kembang tahu yang berfungsi memberikan rasa yang khas.Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat Pahandut Seberang l) Pendampingan teknologi diversifikasi pengolahan daging ikan menjadi eccado. 2) Promosi kegiatan Pahandut seberang sebagai lokasi wisata kuliner dengan kegiatan-kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas kuliner dari ikan dan ekonomi masyarakat di sekitarnya.
