This article was designed to elucidate the current status of dental and orthodontic education in the European and American countries by a questionnaire survey through internet. In Europe, the size of orthodontic society and the number of orthodontic department or dental school are small when compared to those in USA. In Europe and South America, it takes 5 to 6 years to complete undergraduate dental education for dentist. Meanwhile, in Canada and USA, dental school system has been developed, requiring 8-year education to become dentist. For orthodontic specialists, in general, it takes 3 years on average in European and American countries with an exception of 4-year training in Switzerland. Most societies in European and American countries have two important issues such as inappropriate orthodontic treatment and incorrect use of aligners by general practitioners. The most important strategy is to appeal the public that orthodontic treatment should be executed by orthodontic specialists. In conclusion, it is shown that the educational systems for dentist and orthodontist have well been developed in every country in the world, although the strength is somewhat different from country to country.

This UNWTO study analyzes six resorts, all largely completed and representing various regions of the world and different types of development. For each case study, comprehensive details are provided on planning and implementation, including the current status of development. Economic, environmental and socio-cultural factors in planning and implementation are also analyzed, as well as the development impact of these factors. The report evaluates the financing of both the infrastructure and tourist accommodation of the resorts, the respective roles of the public and private sectors in financing, and financial policies and procedures applied. Finally, it assesses the potential of applying these planning and implementation procedures in other development projects around the world.

People in every country became exposed to COVID-19 pandemic and cannot able to find a right solution and strategies to overcome from it. Pharmacy is the most important, dynamic and versatile health care profession in the world, whereas its scope and importance are always being emerging at any situation. Pharmacy professionals (PPs) working proactively for the public even in this pandemic situation. Since dependency is high, the responsibility and preference also high for PPs especially in this pandemic situation. Current status in pharmacy education and emerging future challenges of PPs in all aspects, particularly in thispandemic situation were addressed based on observational studies among various pharma industries and published news of Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). While in the development phase it has crossed many barriers, not only in the economic level,but also involves regulations, duration, process controls, legal hurdles and situational defects. The purpose of this review discusses the evolution and updates in pharmacy, education, pharmacy practice, regulations, and types of challenges along with recommendations for PPs in India in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. This review was carried out to summarize knowledge about the updates and challenges in pharmacy professions in all aspects. Sources were retrieved from relevant guidelines and published articles in Google scholar, Pubmed and Science direct of articles up to June 2020. The keywords used for gathering information were listed below.

The diagnosis of the problem of the contemporary world in the area of global media communication is a basic challenge for existing and modernized educational systems. Without a complete vision of the world, people cannot exist in a fully aware way. Hence, the most important questions related to such social development in which no one would be excluded from the world-wide circulation of information. The general assumptions of common media education have been presented in the article.

About twenty years ago I became the library director at a small state college in a far-northern state, known mostly for liberal social stances even among its conservative electorate. So I was taken aback when the head of computing recommended I install the same filtering software used in the public school system to protect students from getting into “mischief” online. College students are taking their first steps into adulthood, I explained when declining his offer, and they should get into mischief. They should be testing their boundaries, finding out the world is much different than the dinner conversations they grew up with surrounded by people whose main goal was protecting them.

House Sparrows Passer domesticus are one of the most widespread passerines in the world.  A survey was conducted to find out their status in Kannur District, Kerala.  The survey recorded 553 sparrows in 35 sites in the district.  The perspectives of the public were recorded through a questionnaire survey and conservational inputs from the public were noted.  Most of the respondents (47%) suggested the provision of nest boxes for the enhanced breeding of sparrows.  Thus, our NGO along with the support of students, the public and the Kerala Forest Department, placed 100 nest boxes in various identified sparrow dwelling places in the district and it was found effective in the conservation of sparrows.

There is an abundance of official and semi-official reports of schools for dependent people in various parts of the world which emphasize the administrator's picture of the school system: the value and nature of the physical plant, aims, curriculum, enrollment and attendance, etc. However all actual educational systems include two major parties: the teachers and the taught. The latter are all too often ignored. Our purpose in this paper therefore will be to discuss the operation of the former Japanese school system for the natives of Truk, Caroline Islands, viewed as the product of an interaction between two major forces: the official government policy and the native culture.
