The traditional technology of arsenic removal had been limited owing to their higher environmental requirements. But biological methods, especially microbial technology,had been the most promising technology because of its environment friendliness. This article analyzed and explored the mechanism and the latest research of microbial removal of arsenic. Based on the findings of the present situation, the research direction keys of this method were put forward.

Non-stationary vibration will appear when the fault rolling bearing is running. This paper summarizes the development present situation of application of Hilbert-Huang Transform solving the problem of rolling bearing fault diagnosis at home and abroad from several aspects, analyzes the current rolling bearing fault diagnosis methods combined with HHT, and sums up the practical applicability of HHT method through the comparison of rolling bearing fault diagnosis with other methods. It points out that HHT used for rolling bearing fault diagnosis still has problems to be solved. At last, it gives the future research direction of HHT.

According to the present situation of short service life of high grade highway the domestic gradually developed the design and study of long-life pavement in order to improve the operational performance of the road and extend the use fixed number of year. This paper discusses the design concept of long-life pavement and also analyzes the present situation of permanent road in the Europe, the United States and other countries.The paper proposes the domestic design research direction of long-life pavement to control the early destruction of the pavement structure and improve the road performance.

With the development of long distance power transmission in China, Jiangsu, Guangdong and many other places have seen significantly geomagnetic induced current (GIC) in power grid . GIC could bring about great harm to power grid. To study the effect of GIC on power grid, the calculation of the GIC should be done firstly. In this paper, several kinds of GIC calculation model are summarized and analyzed, their advantages and disadvantages are pointed out, And further discusses the finite element algorithm of GIC. Shortcomings of the present situation of GIC calculation are analyzed, and the research direction suitable for the actual situation f is proposed.
