The purpose of the study was to find out the differences in adjustment among Day Scholars and Hostel students who are adolescents in age range (14 to 15 years). From Meerut District, in Uttar Pradesh state. 600 School students were selected by random sampling method .Sample consists of 300 Day Scholars (150 males and 150 Females) and 300Hostel students (150 males and 150 Females). The age range was 14 to 15 years. The data was collected with the help of Bell ‘s adjustment inventory. Obtained data were statistically analyzed by Mean, SD and T test. Results revealed that Day Scholars and Hostel students differed significantly on home, health, social, emotional and overall adjustment.

In this era of globalization and demonetization, people of India have become aware of academic excellence and over all development of the students. Education psychologists have brought such issues in the limelight and provided valuable findings contributing to well being of the students. The present paper is an attempt to find out and compare certain areas of adjustment and academic achievement of school students. The sample consisted of 90 students with the age range from 14 to 17 years. Bell Adjustment Inventory developed and standardized by Mohsin and Shamshad (1968) was used to find out adjustment level of students. “t” test was used to analyze the data. Average marks of last three years annual results were considered as academic achievements. The findings showed that boys and girls students differed significantly in overall adjustment process. Although, there were no significant differences among the different level of adjustments i.e. home, health, social and emotional. The results further revealed that high achievement and low achievement students differed significantly in overall adjustment and high academic achievement groups are more adjusted as compare to low academic achievement groups.

This study aims to determine whether there is influence between direct selling and social media through facebook to consumer buying interest in cigarettes sin herbs in Pesona Anggrek, Bekasi Utara. This study used an associative quantitative approach through a survey to 60 members. Sampling method is probability sampling by using simple random sampling. Hypothesis test results (t test) showed that the variables of direct selling and social media through facebook have a significant effect on buying interest. This is indicated by the absolute t value of direct selling and social media through facebook both bigger than t table that is equal to 2.002. The conclusion of this research that direct selling and social media through facebook each have an effect on buying interest. This can mean that, declining and increasing buying interest depends on how to apply direct selling system and social media through facebook effectively. The study was intended to examine the effect of mental health on old people. Aim: The aim was to estimate the prevalence of mental health in old people and to determine the association of mental health with types of family and gender. Sample: The sample consists of 120 old people from different old age home and family in Rajkot district area. The sample was selected from randomly. Design: 2*2research design was used the present study. Tools: Mental Health was measured through a questionnaire ‘Mental Health Inventory’was used. Test developed by Bhatt D & Gida G. in (1992).The data was analyzed by the t test. Results: There will be no significant difference between Gender and Types of Area in relation to their mental health. Conclusions: Our study demonstrates a higher prevalence of mental health in old people.

ABSTRACTThe prevalence of HIV infection in aged 15-19 years old was increased significantly every year. Adolescent is a high-risk groups for HIV infection due to high chance to try something new and having big influenced by their peer in school. There is limited intervention utilizing technology conducted in Indonesia to reduce the risk of HIV among adolescents. This study aimed to test the effectiveness of peer-led technology on knowledge and attitude towards HIV prevention among adolescent in Bandung. This research was a queasy experiment with one group conducted in a one of private senior high school in Indonesia from April to August 2018. The sample in this study was a student in one of private high school in Bandung. The inclusion criteria in this study were high school students in grade 1, 2; three sample technique used simple random sampling. The Bahasa version of knowledge and  attitude towards HIV prevention were used to measure the outcome. Paired t test used to test the mean sore of knowledge and attitude the intervention before and after. A total of 28 senior high school students agreed to join in this study. This study found that peer-led technology was useful to improve the knowledge and attitudes of high school students towards HIV prevention, mainly through sexual transmission (p-value <0.001, with a mean difference between pre-test and post-test, was 5.2 for knowledge and 3.19 for attitude). In conclusion, utilizing technology to provide health education in adolescent effectively to improve knowledge and attitude towards HIV prevention. ABSTRAKPrevalensi HIV infeksi pada umur 15-19 tahun meningkat secara signifikan setiap tahun. Remaja adalah kelompok berisiko tinggi untuk infeksi HIV, pada masa ini mereka senang mencoba sesuatu yang baru dan juga faktor tingginya pengaruh teman sebaya di sekolah. Masih sedikit intervensi pencegahan HIV  yang memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mengurangi risiko HIV kalangan remaja di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas peer lead teknologi terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap dalam pencegahan HIV di antara remaja di Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan kuasi eksperimen pada satu kelompok perlakuan yang dilakukan di salah satu SMA swasta di Indonesia dari bulan April hingga Agustus 2018. Kriteria inklusi dalam studi ini adalah siswa SMA kelas 1 dan 2. Teknik pengambilan sample dengan menggunakan simple random sampling. Instrumen versi bahasa indonesia digunakan sebagai instrumen untuk mengukur pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap pencegahan HIV. Analisa data menggunakan paired T test untuk mebandingkan hasil sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Total sejumlah  28 siswa SMA setuju untuk bergabung dalam studi ini. Studi ini menemukan bahwa peer lead technology berguna untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap siswa SMA terhadap pencegahan HIV, terutama melalui transmisi seksual (p-nilai < 0.001, dengan perbedaan yang berarti antara sebelum dan sesudah intervensi  adalah 5.2 untuk pengetahuan dan 3.19 untuk sikap). Kesimpulannya, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pendidikan kesehatan pada remaja terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap pencegahan HIV.

The study was intended to examine the effect of Anxiety on diabetic patients. Aim: The aim was to estimate the prevalence of anxiety in patients with diabetes and to determine the association of anxiety with area and gender. Sample: The sample consists of 160 diabetic patients from different hospital in Rajkot district area. The sample was selected from randomly. Design: 2*2 research design was used the present study. Tools: Anxiety was measured through a questionnaire ‘Sinha’s Comprehensive Anxiety Test (SCAT) was used. Test developed by A.K.P Sinha and L.N.K Sinha in (1995).The data was analyzed by the t test. Results: There will be no significant difference between Gender and Types of Area in relation to their Anxiety. Conclusions: Our study demonstrates a higher prevalence of anxiety in diabetic patients. No factor was significantly associated with anxiety.

Multimedia is a term commonly heard among educational setup. Multimedia are compulsory for an education in many ways for developing thinking, effectivecommunication, solving questions, , curiosity and interest. In this study to identify positive effects of multimedia on the child’s education (3-6).The study was conducted in the year 2013 in Lucknow city. The main area selected for the study was Alambagh. In this area selected five mohllas. A total of 120 Pre-primary and primary teachers (respondents) were selected for the study. Random sampling method was used for sample selection and self made questionnaire schedule was used for data collection. t test used in research for data analysis. The results revealed that the multimedia can encourage children’s to learn new things and motivate to do things in own way. Multimedia has quality to increased children’s knowledge and communication skills in positively.

The purpose of this study is to explore the difference between feeling of insecurity in working and non-working women of Pakistan. It was hypothesized that “The working-women will score higher the non-working women on the variable of feelings of insecurity”. The sample of 250 (125 working, 125 non working) women, age range was between 28 years to 45 years (M =34.126; SD= 4.129) were selected from different organizations and areas of Karachi, Pakistan through purposive sampling technique. After taking the permission from authorities and informed consent from the participant demographic forms were filled then in order to measure the feeling of insecurity, Zeab Fareda’s Insecurity Scale (2011) was administered, individually. Descriptive statistics and t-test for independent mean were used to analyze the data through SPSS. It was concluded that working women are likely to have feeling of insecurity than non working women in Pakistan.

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peran iklim sekolah dan keyakinan normatif mengenai agresi terhadap agresivitas siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, dan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa multistage random sampling dan melibatkan 471 siswa SMA dan sederajat. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan tiga jenis skala untuk mengukur agresivitas, iklim sekolah, dan keyakinan normatif mengenai agresi. Hipotesis penelitian diuji menggunakan regresi linier berganda yang menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara iklim sekolah dan keyakinan normatif mengenai agresi terhadap agresivitas siswa. Menurut hasil uji parsial terlihat bahwa keyakina normatif mengenai agresi berperan lebih besar terhadap agresivitas siswa dibandingkan dengan iklim sekolah.  Kata Kunci: Agresivitas, Iklim Sekolah, Keyakinan Normatif, Siswa ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to look at the role of school climate and normative beliefs about aggression against the aggressiveness of the students in the school. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey methods, and the use of sampling techniques such as multistage random sampling and involve 471 senior high school students. Data were collected using three types of scales to measure aggressiveness, school climate, and normative beliefs about aggression. The hypothesis was tested using multiple linear regression showed that there is significant relationship between school climate and normative beliefs about aggression against the aggressiveness of the students. Gout caused by hyperuricemia is a condition of high of uric acid in the blood. The condition of hyperuricemia in elderly is related to metabolic syndrome which is caused by slow rate of the body's metabolism. This activity aims to determine a prevalence of hyperuricemia in elderly at four Posbindu as a working area of ​​Kalibaru Health Center. Type of research is cross sectional with a simple random sampling method. The activity was carried out in August 2019. The method to measurement of uric acid levels by the strip method. The Descriptive test results showed a modus of the elderly is at the age of 65 years and the oldest at the age of 89 years. The percentage of elderly people who experience hyperuricemia based on WHO 2013 criteria as many as 8.8%  from a total of 68 elderly. The conclusion of this activity  indicates that 90% of elderly  in the working area of the Kalibaru Helath Center have normal of uric acid levels.

This research aimed to determine the effect of scrapbook child stories as a media for storytelling skills for elementary school students. This type of research was a quasi-experimental quantitative study with a pretest-posttest group design. The population of this research was second grade elementary school students of Candimulyo sub-district, involving two classes as the control class and the experimental class. The test results were then analyzed using the prerequisite test and hypothesis testing. The prerequisite test consists of the normality test using the Kolmogorov Smirnov test and the homogeneity test using the One Way Anova. Hypothesis testing using t-test with independent sample t-test. The results of the analysis were then tested using a significance level of 0.05. The results of this result showed that the control class and the experimental class had a normal and homogeneous distribution. The t-test results showed a significance level 0.05. It means that there was a significant effect of scrapbook child stories to improve storytelling skills.
