Value makes life worthwhile, education enriches it and society provides circumstances in which one could lead it successfully or whatever it may mean from time to time. Whole educational system revolves around the teachers. Teachers occupy the pivot role. He is at the core of the process who can ‘mend or end’ the future of the individual, society and nation. But the teachers’ thinking, feeling and actions are guided by his personal values. It is a matter of great sorrow that today secondary teachers have proved themselves worthless to great extent. They have not been justifying themselves as they thought to have their educational growth, standard, ideology and other aspects of their personality are embarrassing to the society. What is the mirror of their value pattern, how it can be modified; for it, the researcher took a sample of 100 secondary teachers; out of which 50 male and 50 female secondary teachers. After collecting and analyzing data, it was found that there is significant difference between the personal values of male and female secondary teachers at religious value, social value, democratic value, hedonistic and power value.

The purpose of the present study was to study the emotional intelligence of post graduate students in HNBGU (Uttarakhand) and Jammu University (J&K) state of India. The sample was post graduate students (120) which were taken from two different courses (Arts & Science) from HNBGU and Jammu University. The total sample was equally divided among male and female. The main objectives of the study were to the influence of Region, stream and gender on Emotional Intelligence. Emotional intelligence inventory by S.K. Mangal and Shubhra Mangal was used as a tool. T-test was used as statistical technique to the results. Results revealed that there was a significant difference between students of HNBGU and Jammu University on Emotional Intelligence.

<p class="abstract"><strong>Background:</strong> Plantar fasciitis (PF) is considered as degenerative tendinopathies. Repeated micro trauma is the major etiology of these diseases. Autologous platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections are becoming more popular in the treatment of enthesopathies like PF. The growth factors in PRP cause tissue healing. We compared the result of injecting intra-lesional autologous PRP injections versus steroid infiltration in chronic PF.</p><p class="abstract"><strong>Methods:</strong> A prospective, interventional and analytic comparative study was done and 81 patients (120 heels) were included in this study and were followed up for 6 months. We assessed the outcome of each patient using visual analog score (VAS) and foot and ankle disability index (FADI) on follow-up at 1, 3, and 6 months. <strong></strong></p><p class="abstract"><strong>Results:</strong> In our study, female preponderance was seen. Left side was more common as compared to right side. Unilateral PF is more common than bilateral. The difference with in the individual group at baseline and at 1,3 and 6 months was statistically highly significant in terms of VAS and FADI (p=0.0001) But the difference in the between the two groups was insignificant for VAS and FADI at 1, 3 and 6 months.</p><p class="abstract"><strong>Conclusions:</strong> In our study, as there is no significant difference in VAS and FADI score between corticosteroid injection group and PRP injection group at 1, 3 and 6 months follow up. So, it’s reasonable to conclude that both are equally effective in PF. But as PRP injection comes out to be more time consuming and more costly, corticosteroid seems to be more efficient, cost and time wise. Hence, the latter should be a better choice.      </p>

Aim of the research is to find out the Psychological Well-being among School teachers. So investigator selected two groups one is government school teachers  and other is  non government school teachers, both groups have 400 persons. In one group has 200 and other one groups has 200 persons. The all subjects were randomly selected. Data were collected from Ahmadabad district. Scale was use for data collection is personal datasheet and Psychological Well-being scale developed by Bhogale and Prakash (1995), and data were analysis by “f” test. Result show, There is no significant difference between the psychological well-being of government and non government school teachers. There is no significant difference between the psychological well-being of male and female and urban and rural area.

The aim of our study was to evaluate the morphogenetic variability as a marker of smoking dependency in adult smokers versus controls and to investigate the presence and the degree of morphogenetic variability difference between male and female smokers versus same gender controls. The cross-sectional study evaluated 241 smokers and 185 nonsmoker individuals as controls. We analyzed 17 homozygous recessive characteristics (HRC). There was a significant difference in the individual variations of 17 HRCs between the controls and smokers (??2=61.400, p<0.001; for females ??2=79.440, p<0.001; for males ??2=84.972, p<0.001). The mean values of HRCs significantly differed between smokers and controls (MV?SEM(Controls) -4.79?0.13, MV?SEM(Smokers) -5.70?0.12; p<0.001). For males, presence of 6/17 (35.29% genetic homozygosity) HRCs (OR=6.12) was to the certain degree predictor for smoking dependency. Higher degree of genetic homozygosity, changed variability and male gender, might be some among potential numerous factors that could have impact on smoking development and dependence.

Body self-relation is a multidimensional construct defined by persons" perceptions of and attitudes about their body. Body image does not simply reflect the biological enrichment of the individual or the feedback received from the significant others. The way you perceive about your body is your cognitive body image. This can lead to excessive concern with body shape and weight. Behaviors in which you relate as a result of your body image encompass your behavioral body image. A study based on the gender differences in body relation relating to young adults rating the comparison in perception of both male and female data. Hundred participants of both male and female took part in answering the by Multidimensional body selfrelations questionnaire (MBSRQ-AS). Results demonstrated by Mann Whitney U test revealed that there is significant difference between male and female young adults in their relation to body self, p<0.05, (2- tailed) in appearance orientation. There is no statistical sig.>0.05 differences in the other dimensions. Therefore, this study rejects the null hypothesis in (dimension) appearance orientation and accepts the null hypothesis (dimensions) in appearance evaluation, body area satisfaction, overweight preoccupation and self-classified weight. Aim of the research is to find out the Insecurity among School teachers. So investigator selected two groups one is government school teachers and other is non government school teachers, both groups have 400 persons. Scale was use for data collection is personal datasheet and Insecurity scale developed by Indian Adaption of Maslow’s security insecurity feeling inventory constructed and standardized Tasmeen Nagvi, and data were analysis by “F” test. Result show, There is no significant difference between the Insecurity of government and non government school teachers. There is no significant difference between the Insecurity of male and female and urban and rural area.

This paper investigates the perception of phonotactics by Saudi English majors, beginners and advanced. Due to the significance of pronunciation of consonant clusters, which are almost absent from Arabic, this work attempts to find the extent to which beginner and advanced English majors accept or reject permissible and impermissible sounds combinations in the onset position. It also attempts to find whether there are any intervening factors that could influence students’ perception of English phonotactics. The focus was on the consonant clusters occurring in onset position. These clusters included two-sound and three-sound clusters starting the word. Most of the words were pseudowords, and the focus was on whether the students would accept or reject these sounds, and whether there was a significant difference between beginner and advanced students, male and female. The paper also considered some intervening factors that could have influenced students' performance. To this end, the researcher conducted a survey to test the perception and rejection of certain sounds in some carefully selected pseudowords. The findings showed that most advanced students scored better in permissible sounds while the results were close in the impermissible sounds. There were some factors that could have had some impact on the results, such as living in an English-speaking community, watching English TV, and listening to the news in English. Suggestions for further research would include sounds in the coda position.

In edentulous treatment, relocation of anterior teeth in the preexisting natural position is the utmost importance. It is necessary to refer to the significant anatomical landmarks, one of them is incisive papilla. To make it more efficient both functionally and biologically, the teeth were arranged in particular geometric manner known as a dental arch. The author has chosen to conducted the research among the Malay race represented by the Malay undergraduate students. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the correlation between the distance of maxillary central incisors and incisive papilla (CI-IP) in different arch form and gender. Maxillary impressions of 34 dentate individuals were taken, and the measurements were performed using a digital caliper. The results showed the CI-IP distance was ranging between 7.65 to 9.90 mm, with the average of 8.77 mm. There was no significant difference of the CI-IP distance between male and female regardless of their arch forms (p>0.05). Individuals with ovoid and tapered arch form, however, showed a significant difference of the CI-IP distance between male and female (p<0.05). Meanwhile, Individuals with square arch form showed no significant difference of the CI-IP distance between male and female (p>0.05). It can be concluded that gender factor was irrelevant towards the CI-IP distance regardless of the individual arch form. However, there was a correlation between the CI-IP distance in different arch forms in both male and female sample.

Background: Textbook, which is one of the most important sources of the students learning in the educational systems also play an important role in the educational system of Iran. Purpose: This study was conducted to compare the views of male and female teachers and authors in the selection of appropriate content for Social Studies textbook of the primary school third grade. Method: the present study was conducted in the form of causal-comparative study using a questionnaire and the analysis of its items. Two groups of 107 male and female teachers teaching in public schools, private and Shahid schools of Tehran were selected using cluster sampling. Further, 6 authors of Social Studies book working in the Research and Educational Planning Organization of the Ministry of Education were selected based on their experience using targeted sampling method. Considering the nature of the questionnaire, 32 items developed by the researchers were completed by the research participants. The collected data were analyzed using nonparametric chi-square and Yates’ correction for continuity tests in the software SPSS 19. Results: results of the study showed that there was no significant difference between the opinions of female and male teachers and authors. Findings: findings of the study showed that there was no significant gap in both scientific and ideological terms among the textbooks authors and teachers. Further, the sex of the teachers could not have any effect the difference in attitude toward the content of the books and this endorses the integrity of the education system.
