The family and the family ties it creates shape the attitudes and behavior of a person who grows in it. They also have a decisive influence on the character of the family that they will start in the future. The values acquired in the family home will enable him to build and strengthen family ties, largely based on his own and family experiences. The context of the research was the modern family, which, despite the many transformations that have occurred within it as a result of cultural and civilization changes, is still an inseparable element of human life, with a leading and leading role in the development of a child, at the same time defining its worldview as an adult. The aim of the research was to show the changes occurring within the mutual relations between the family and the individual from the time perspective from the period defined by the so-called “Late modernity” or “postmodern society” up to the present (postmodernity). The author shows that the current shape of the family, which many researchers refer to as its crisis or even collapse, is the result of a long process involving changes in mutual obligations and at the same time the desire for individual development of members of that family. This leads to the rejection of existing forms and ties, the loss of traditional beliefs, knowledge and norms, and the creation of a new type of social bond. The scientific method was applied in the form of multi-station ethnography (Marcus 2003), which is a method of conducting research in conditions of discontinuity of cultural formations, when supra-local factors influence the situation in a given locality, causing various “practices, anxieties and ambiguities” (Marcus 2003, p. 170). The conclusions from this study were that the family, despite the weaknesses shown, is still an important institution for the individual. It is also the only institution that is able to defend an individual against negative aspects resulting from postmodernity. Therefore, in the policy of the state, it is necessary and necessary to pay more attention to the transformations of the family bond in the constantly changing socio-cultural conditions, in which the role of the traditional family is diminishing.

Hazel-leaf roller weevil (Apoderus coryli /L./) is a noteworthy species from the perspective of biology and forestry; it belongs to the family Attelabidae. Its occurrence, development and harmfulness were studied in surroundings of Brno city in 2011 and 2012. Imagoes of the first generation and those of not very numerous second generation are observed to winter in the area under study. From the beginning of May to the end of July they occur on the host woody plants (mainly on Carpinus betulus and Corylus avellana). The males and females consume on average 21 and 33 cm2 of leaves, respectively. The fertilized females cut into the leaf blade in an original manner, and bite into the main and side leaf veins. They fold the withering part of the blade lengthwise to the adaxial face first, and then forming the folded blade into a short cylindrical roll. In the initial phase of rolling, the females lay up on average 1.0 egg into the leaf rolls on C. betulus (1.2 on C. avellana). In total, they make around 30 rolls. The larvae emerge on average within 10 days. In the course of 3 to 4 weeks, they pass through two instars only and damage on average 4 cm2 of leaves. This work describes the occurrence and development of the beetles of the first and second generation. It provides an assessment of the mortality of the individual development stages of A. coryli within the rolls. It was demonstrated that rolling of the leaves causes on average 9 times more damage to the trees than maturation feeding of the beetles.

In the context of systemic psychotherapy, the genogram represents a model of graphical representation which the persons involved produce and comment on in order to provide information about their family of origin, from at least a three-generational perspective. This paper proposes a new variant of the genogram, focused on theatrical language: the result of a five-year experiment in the training of dramatherapists, psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors. Starting from Stanislavski's and Grotowski's research, the paper highlights the potentialities that the theatre perspective may have with the genogram. Thanks to the ‘emotive memory’ and ‘body-memory’, the theatre can enrich the genogram method with a set of operational tools that can increase the introspective potential of the genogram itself, especially through the aid of physical actions. If the act of drawing represents an expressive ‘medium’ in the traditional genogram for stimulating the affective memory of family ties, then the language of performance can even better represent this medium, centred as it is on the activation of the body as a vehicle capable of bringing into contact the individual with his identity and his deep memory, even regarding the family, in order to creatively translate this into a communicative and narrative form.

The modern family undergoes considerable social and cultural transformations, which results in an accumulation of problems in its internal functioning, and is relevant for the individual and social development of its members. The article describes the issue of fulfi lling the socialization and educational function as well as emotional and expressive function in complete and broken families, and their signifi cance for choosing the style of coping with diffi cult situations by young adults. The study included 233 people in the 16–24 age group. Based on the analyzes carried out, it was found that people growing up in complete families use the style focused on task and emotions more frequently, whereas respondents from broken families prefer the style focused on emotions and engaging in substitutive activities. There are differences between gender and age of people from complete and broken families, and the style of coping with problems they choose. The results of the research discussed in the article may be useful in educational and preventive practice.

The main purpose of this article is to mention the most important Guidano’s approach contributions to modern psychotherapy and psychopathology. In his cultural and interpretative psychology, rooted in evolutionary epistemology, the mind is the link between the individual and his biology, the external world, and his story. Beginning from the emergence of mentalism among primates, Guidano offers a new explanation of psychosis and psychopathology, for understanding and for curing, based on the integration of three levels of self-meaning: individual, familial, and social. With contextualization, a phylogenic way of remaining connected with the group, as the ontogenic way of child developing that takes place in the family context, through the attachment bonds, it becomes possible to  put in sequence the personal experience and integrate it inside the self,  to maintain life coherence and continuity. Both psychotherapy and psychiatry are in need of a plausible theory of mind that is able to offer an understanding of basic inherited human feelings, language and meanings as evolutionary tools that are necessary for a functioning health human: the mind and the brain are the same thing. The primacy  of affect during the evolution of brain-mind suggests that therapies need a clear vision and knowing of affective human life and what we need is a complete integration of every therapeutic tradition,  having  the primacy of affective development as the core

Patients with eating disorders (ED) show alterations in both their behaviour and their intake of food, frequently presenting nutritional and somatic affectations. Besides the classical forms such as anorexia or bulimia nervosa, there has recently been an increase in atypical or incomplete forms of ED, such as binge eating. Primary care (PC) services form the central and closest nucleus of health care for the individual and the family, where ED occur and leave their mark. This allows PC to provide an integral response at all levels of care for ED. Primary prevention at school, in the family and community is fundamental to avoiding its inception. Secondary prevention is based on early diagnosis and treatment of ED and favours a better prognosis of the illness. Tertiary prevention tries to reduce the serious consequences with rehabilitation measures to alleviate complications and avoid risk to life. Due to its complexity, these patients are afforded the attention of multidisciplinary teams of specialists with experience in treating this condition. In consultation with the team, the general practitioner should adopt a leading role at all levels of attention, as he/she is the link between the team, the family and the patient. This requires both regulated, specific training in the disease and the allocation of resources to carry it through. Putting into practice all these plans would allow us to give a positive answer to the question posed in the title of the present article.

The article explores the functions of religion in modern society, as well as the grounds and the nature of human religiosity. The authors analyze different points of view on the problems mentioned in the research literature, consider historical facts concerning the religious situation in the Soviet period and data of sociological surveys in modern Russia. The authors infer that most people are potentially inclined to religiosity due to innate features of their thinking, so the term "natural religiosity" could be to the point in this case. The degree of actualization of this inborn predisposition depends on the nature of social control. In a state with a predominantly secular worldview, the existential personal events of human life tend to be viewed in a natural way. In the religious environment, this changes in the opposite direction: an inborn inclination to religious understanding of the world acquires additional personal characteristics and can be called existential religiosity. Although, most people do not have a solid viewpoint and their attitudes change depending on the social situation, there always are people who have their own opinion. This can be called "conscious religiousness", since it can be the result of a serious analytical work of the individual. To change the conscious position by means of social pressure, it will take a long time perspective. It was this time perspective that the Soviet system ultimately lacked to suppress religiosity in society.

Fear appeals are a kind of "external inductors" that are used to increase the desire of the individual to do something useful and good, both for himself and for the environment, for society, for the family. Fear appeals are related to various forms of emotional components that are basically negative, such as fear, sadness, guilt, depression, etc., which serve to motivate the individual to make a change that will be the same way with the guidelines that promote the message with an appeal of fear. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the connection of messages with the fear of feeling with certain types of emotions by conducting research by displaying messages with different levels of fear and analyzing them through the emotions they cause by age and gender. In order to gain a complete picture of how fears affect the emotions (negative) of individuals, an analysis is made of how high- or low-intensity advertising messages affect the different (negative) emotions of the individuals receiving the message, and taking into account gender and age and how they impact through conducting a survey by applying a questionnaire survey method. ANOVA was used to analyze the obtained data from the survey questionnaire. The results showed that there are statistically significant differences only between negative emotions in fear appeal 1 (lower intensity) between the age differences. Statistically significant differences were not found between the negative emotions of ad 1 and ad 2 (higher intensity) among the respondents of different sexes.

AbstractIntroduction: Computers and the applications of today’s high technology can simulate reality so realistically that virtuality has become part of both children’s and adults’ lifestyles (Nagy & Kölcsey, 2017; Szécsi, 2012). However, it did not emerge with the computer applications, but with human thinking and part of that, the virtual conception of the world. In addition to social changes this development can be observed on individuals as well.Purpose: This study shows the development of virtuality through the examples of cultural, philosophical, aesthetic, then the psychological and pedagogical development of the individual with the help of some important studies. Methods: This study presents the social and individual development of virtuality throughout theoretical analysis of the research results. Conclusion: Virtuality has already an important role in the technological and economic sphere and its impact on social innovations, individual and social life can be felt as well. Virtuality-research, its application and improvement contribute to experience a more complete reality and to the improvement of human life quality.
