The public service administration system at the government offices of the Kemiri village office in the Kemiri District currently does not have a computerized and integrated system. Because the system runs, residents who submit letters for administrative completeness, still use the Ms.Word / Ms.Excel application. of course has many weaknesses including human error, not neat in file storage, resulting in the lengthy process of searching and making a cover letter and required reports. The analytical method used in this study is to use PIECES (Performance, Informance, Economy, Control, Efficiency, Service) analysis, the design of the model uses UML (Unified Modeling Language). The results of this study are web-based letter information systems at the Office of the Village Chief of Kemiri that can accessed using a local computer browser. Thus the information letter needed by the Kemiri Village community and more effective and efficient in making the letter.

Lightning is a natural phenomenon and presents severe risks to people and animals, as well as affects several segments of the productive sector. A web-based lightning monitoring system has been developed to integrate different lightning detection systems, as well as to generate spatial and tabular data and products, capable of assisting specialists and decision makers. The system also allows combining lightning data with satellite images, increasing the capacity of analysis in near real time. This tool proved to be stable and efficient, with an intuitive interface that facilitates interaction with users.

The course is one of the education provided outside formal (non-formal) schools to develop personal abilities and skills. Eden Everyday English Course Institute is an Institution located in Bogor. In this institution, the registration process for students is done manually by filling in the registration form provided by the admin. Eden Everyday English Course Institute is one of the courses where the number of applicants increases every year, this causes the administration department cannot manage everything properly and feels overwhelmed so that it is not effective. With the increase in the number of students registering each year, it would be better if a web-based registration system was created, so that it could simultaneously serve as a medium for promoting the course institution. The purpose of this research is to create a web-based application to help the process of registration for new students in Eden Everyday English Course Institute using the waterfall method. Many studies, especially in the field of information system development, use the Waterfall method. This online course registration application is effective and efficient because it is supported by an integrated system. This application improves the quality of information and the efficiency of the implementation of online course registration.

Nowadays, web-based distance learning is benefiting from improved communication services. However, the mere fact of setting up an environment for students and lecturers does not guarantee mutual collaboration or successful student learning. This is partly due to the fact that an unique response is given to every user with different background knowledge, different interests, or different skill levels in the use of the services provided. To resolve this situation, adaptive systems provide an adapted response to each user's needs based on a constructed user model containing his/her characteristics. In this paper we will see that the construction of this user model is not trivial. In a user model in a web-based collaborative environment, there are very diverse attributes related with the interaction of the user with the services and the value of these attributes are obtained in very different ways. In addition, as any adaptive system the user model constructed should be explicit and accesible by the user and tutor. We will also see how we dynamically manage the user model in an adaptive learning environment by means of a ensemble of classifiers.
