Abstract Currently we can observe a worldwide trend to find new materials with extraordinary properties. In particular these researches are aimed to find a method to improve electrical conductivity, mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and rheological behavior of known materials. This effect can be achieved by a synthesis of modern carbon materials with metals. In this paper authors presented research results of synthesis process for Cu-graphene and Cu-CNT’s composites obtained by the mechanical synthesis in cold drawing process. The article presents also the results of electrical conductivity measurements and structural analysis of carbon particles presence in copper matrix. The research has shown that obtained composites have electrical conductivity lower than used copper base material. Additionally, the structural analysis has shown that after the drawing process carbon materials particles are mechanically pressed into Cu in the matrix, and these particles do not participate in the current flow, creating an actual barrier for electrons transport.

ABSTRACTThis study describes a low-energy atom scattering system that was combined with a time-of-flight spectrometer for insulator surface structural analysis. We show one example. MgO(001) crystal was used to study the surface analysis technique and is illustrated here. Insulator surface structure is difficult to study because of the charging effects during electron or ion-beam bombardment. Nevertheless, structural analysis of insulator surfaces is very important in fundamental research as well as in technology fields.

AbstractQualitative physics, a subfield of artificial intelligence, adapts intuitive and non-numerical reasoning for descriptive analysis of physical systems. The application of a set-based qualitative algebra to matrix analysis (QMA) allows for the development of a qualitative matrix stiffness methodology for linear elastic structural analysis. The unavoidable introduction of arithmetic ambiguity requires the reinforcement of physical constraints complementary to standard matrix operations. The overall analysis technique incorporates such constraints within the set-based framework with logic programming. Truss, beam, and frame structures demonstrate constraint relationships, which prune spurious solutions resulting from qualitative arithmetic relations. Though QMA is not a panacea for all structural applications, it provides greater insight into new notions of physical analysis.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to identify and prioritize the positive and negative impacts of tourism on the process of tourism growth at a national scale in Iran, by taking into account the reviews of previous studies, views of experts and structural analysis. Design/methodology/approach In this investigation, structural analysis technique has been used to identify the correlation between variables by using mix method data analysis. By using cross-impact analysis (N × N integer matrix) in the form of the Micmac method, the economic, sociocultural and environmental factors have been evaluated. Findings The results of the distribution of factors in the coordinate axes and the graphs between them indicate their features, and for reaching a sustainable system of tourism development, at first, priority should be given to the negative influential factors, especially the environmental fields, and then the focus should be on the decrease of the dual and risk variables as they cannot be anticipated. Originality/value For the rapid growth of tourism in many countries, governments ensure that policies have been heeded in designing and preparing general plans of the country to understand how the development trend is moving on. In this respect, arisen impacts of tourism system are one of the important issues during the development path and in the field of tourism future. Because of the complexity and broadness of tourism activities, these impacts have also many interconnected dimensions that should also be considered while studying tourism impacts.
