In block one of Tahe oil field, the Triassic Lower Oil Formation sand with a low-amplitude anticline has a characteristic of bottom water reservoir and a uniform oil/water contact, bottom water is energetic, natural water drive, rock and fluid depletion drive. With the continuous development, oilfield has entered high water cut stage, bottom water coning is significant, oil well has rising of the water content and production decline. Summarized influencing factors of water production and water production mode in block one of Tahe oil field. According to water production factors of oil well, we draw four kinds of water production mode: water production mode of tectonic position, water production mode of poor fault-sealing prediction, water production mode of developed into inter-layers, water production mode of high specific inflow segments. Putting forward four kinds of water production mode provide a theoretical basis to control measures for high yield water of later oil well.

It is discussed characteristic and dominant factors of lower-middle Ordovician cave-reservoir in southern Tahe oilfield by analyzing data such as core, well drilling, logging, and seismic systematically, and by applying reservoir identifying, wells comparing, section of seismic analyzing, and ancient physiognomy recovering technology in this article. Three cave layers effected by the early hercynian karstification have been discovered in the study area. In single well section, the cave layer with strong heterogeneity corresponds with the Karst cycle with six combinations. The cave layers dominated by the early hercynian unconformity concentrate under0-200metre of the unconformity surface. The nearer to the unconformity surface, the more caves are filled. With effecting of fracture, the caves layers, especially larger cave, are often discovered in fractures concentrated zone. With effecting of ancient physiognomy, the caves layers are often in gentle carbonate slope. The unconformity, regional fractures and ancient physiognomy are the dominant factors of lower-middle Ordovician cave-reservoir in southern Tahe oil field.

During the process of super heavy oil exploitation in Tahe oil field, when mixing light oil, due to heavy oil and light oil entering into pump from separator directly, the existing ESP string leads to poor mixing and heavy oil coming into the pump, as a result, the pump detection period is greatly shorten; when water injection-production, the injected water can contact with electrical cable and motor directly, causing serious damage to the cable and motor, and the pump detection period is also greatly shorten. This paper designs a new type of ESP string, adding a ESP dome, a sieve tube, a mixing device, an intelligent switch and a direct flushing valve, which can improve the mixing effect of heavy oil and light oil, avoid the injected water directly contacting with electrical cable and motor, in order to protect the electrical cable and motor, improve their service life, extend the pump detection period and reduce production costs. Field test showed that the pump detection period has been prolonged after using the new ESP string, it is recommended to promote the use.
