ABSTRACT. Stem cells have attracted scientific, clinical and public interest because they can regenerate and develop in certain types of cells, depending on their source of origin and biological plasticity. Several strategies for the use of cell therapy are currently being explored. A total of 8357 clinical trials of various stages using stem cells have been registered. The possibility of using multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells in patients with COVID-19-induced complications is being actively investigated. However, among the stem cell products, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has so far approved only those that are produced from umbilical cord blood. In the USA and European countries, there are private clinics that provide services for the collection and cultivation of stem cells, mainly autologous. Such medical centers can become the point of concentration of personalized medicine, focused on the needs of a particular patient and his/her possibilities of receiving targeted therapy for severe, difficult-to-treat conditions using modern methods in cellular technologies. The article presents an analysis of existing strategies for the therapeutic use of stem cells and the most promising directions for their further study.

This paper presents a study related to human psychophysiological activity estimation based on a smartphone camera and sensors. In recent years, awareness of the human body, as well as human mental states, has become more and more popular. Yoga and meditation practices have moved from the east to Europe, the USA, Russia, and other countries, and there are a lot of people who are interested in them. However, recently, people have tried the practice but would prefer an objective assessment. We propose to apply the modern methods of computer vision, pattern recognition, competence management, and dynamic motivation to estimate the quality of the meditation process and provide the users with objective information about their practice. We propose an approach that covers the possibility of recognizing pictures of humans from a smartphone and utilizes wearable electronics to measure the user’s heart rate and motions. We propose a model that allows building meditation estimation scores based on these parameters. Moreover, we propose a meditation expert network through which users can find the coach that is most appropriate for him/her. Finally, we propose the dynamic motivation model, which encourages people to perform the practice every day.

Abstract The paper presents a review of contributions to the scientific discussion on modern methods and tools for public participation in urban planning. This discussion took place in Obrzycko near Poznań, Poland. The meeting was designed to allow for an ample discussion on the themes of public participatory geographic information systems, participatory geographic information systems, volunteered geographic information, citizen science, Geoweb, geographical information and communication technology, Geo-Citizen participation, geo-questionnaire, geo-discussion, GeoParticipation, Geodesign, Big Data and urban planning. Participants in the discussion were scholars from Austria, Brazil, the Czech Republic, Finland, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the USA. A review of public participation in urban planning shows new developments in concepts and methods rooted in geography, landscape architecture, psychology, and sociology, accompanied by progress in geoinformation and communication technologies. The discussions emphasized that it is extremely important to state the conditions of symmetric cooperation between city authorities, urban planners and public participation representatives, social organizations, as well as residents.

The purpose of the research: to characterize the modern methods of determining the effectiveness of insecticides, acaricides, regulators of development and repellents against ectoparasites of carnivores. Materials and methods. The analysis of the literature date and the results of our research to evaluate the effectiveness of insecticides, acaricides, regulators of development and repellents against ectoparasites of carnivores. Results and discussion. Details describes modern methods for determining the effectiveness of insecticides, acaricides, repellents and regulators of development against ectoparasites of carnivores as well as in conditions in vitro. The methods of determining the insecticidal and acaricidal properties of the active compounds (substances) by forced contact of insects and mites with surface treated topically applying acaricides, rate determination occurrence state knockdown and lift height of mites on treated material, accounting sucking ticks velocity contacted with test substances. The repellent activity of substances with respect to ixodid mites is studied by the method of cut off concentration, the concentration gradient method, etc.
