The Changes on Balungan Lampahan in Pakeliran of Purwa Puppet of Surakarta Style. This research aims to increase the appreciation of the shadow puppet purwa pakeliran according to the times and society. Balungan lampahan as the basic framework, is static and never to be changed, but then it is dynamic and full of changes. The method used is descriptive comparative, while data analysis is based on the structure theory of the wayang play by Alton L. Becker and Arnold Hauzer's social change. The results can be found in three forms of balungan lampahan namely: (1) overnight, (2) compact, and (3) solid. Change is partial and total due to changes in the society that supports wayang, namely as the art of royal ritual traditions (monarchy and ritualism) turning into modern art and entertainment (modern and profane). Thus, the change in balungan lampahan represents changing times and society, so it needs to be appreciated by the puppeteers for the pakeliran. Keywords: changes; balungan lampahan; pakeliran; shadow puppets; Surakarta style

The aim of this study was to apply a methodology based on compositional data analysis (CoDA) to categorise glucose profiles obtained from continuous glucose monitoring systems. The methodology proposed considers complete daily glucose profiles obtained from six patients with type 1 diabetes (T1D) who had their glucose monitored for eight weeks. The glucose profiles were distributed into the time spent in six different ranges. The time in one day is finite and limited to 24 h, and the times spent in each of these different ranges are co-dependent and carry only relative information; therefore, CoDA is applied to these profiles. A K-means algorithm was applied to the coordinates obtained from the CoDA to obtain different patterns of days for each patient. Groups of days with relatively high time in the hypo and/or hyperglycaemic ranges and with different glucose variability were observed. Using CoDA of time in different ranges, individual glucose profiles were categorised into groups of days, which can be used by physicians to detect the different conditions of patients and personalise patient's insulin therapy according to each group. This approach can be useful to assist physicians and patients in managing the day-to-day variability that hinders glycaemic control.

Young generation nowadays has lack of knowledge on the culture of shadow puppet (wayang kulit) which is a heritage that has a high value of art and philosophy. This is caused by the impact of foreign cultures rapidly entering Indonesia. The rapid development of the information technology through internet & game has led to globalization that seems to be not limited to space and time. The speed of information and foreign cultures cannot be stopped. The culture of shadow puppet (wayang kulit) is getting eroded and is not much known by the modern society nowadays. This is an irony to a big nation which has a rich heritage, so it is our obligation as a citizen to maintain and preserve it. Based on the formulae of AIGA 2015 that defines (time + content + context) / time = experience design, the game of wayang kulit (shadow puppet) Gatotkaca put forbattled different experience to users in exploring the information and entertainment in those media. Having the spirit of moderate Postmodernism, the design plan called User Interface which combines the modern and classic traditional elements will encourage new experience to the users (Experience Design). The design recognizes times and trends, and it keeps changing as the development of the times. The design can be a pace setter to next individuals who are called to maintain and preserve national cultures, in general, and wayang kulit purwa, in particular, through digital media. The development in the modern era will not change the identity of shadow puppet (wayang kulit) culture since it has solid foundation.

On the one hand, in the environment of the Pesantren salaf community, a kind of environment and tradition is formed which shows its unique, even unique characteristics, which are only understood by the community. Gus Dur, in this case, stated that the Pesantren salaf community is a community that has its own subcultural in the middle of society with the complexity of the problems in it. But on the other hand, there is a very rapid development of science and technology, so it demands pesantren salaf to make changes to adjust to the times, both in terms of the education system, the boarding school environment, institutions, leadership patterns, and others. Therefore, the study contained in the title "Pesantren Salaf: Social Change and Sublimation of Identity (Pesantren Model in West Java)", is very important to be carried out.The purpose of this study is none other than to find the concept of changes that occur in Pesantren salaf in West Java. For more details, they are: 1) uncovering the factors that drive changes in pesantren in West Java; 2) reveal pesantren's efforts in facing the challenges of the times, and 3) find forms of changes that occur in the Pesantren salaf in West Java. This research departs from a thought that social change will occur due to four things. First, Evolution. This theory states that humans as part of a cultured society will naturally develop gradually from simple forms to complex and perfect stages. Second, Conflict. This theory strongly believes that change will only occur if there is conflict. Third. Functional Theory. Social change occurs because of the disharmony between cultural elements. Fourth, Cycle Theory. Social change by itself will occur and cannot be controlled. The method used in this research is descriptive. In the process, the data is collected and compiled. After the data is collected and arranged in such a way, the authors analyze it and provide interpretation, with a qualitative approach. So that it is expected to be able to uncover the realities of the Pesantren salaf which are changing in the community. The results of the study stated that the Pesantren salaf can adapt well to social change by bringing up certain identities. This shift in identity needs to be examined and studied through the theory of action put forward by Max Weber. First, zweckrational. This theory is known as rational-purpose. In doing something always with a good and accurate calculation. Second, wertrational or rational-values. The involvement of the subject is directly involved in matters of absolute importance. The four traditionalists. This theory of action rests on established and established customs or traditions. Traditionalist theories respect existing authority.

The Object of the Study. The correlation of class and stratification approaches in Soviet and post-Soviet sociology. The Subject of the Study. New working class in Russian sociological discourse. The Purpose of the Study. The objectives are to substantiate the necessity of actualizing of the class approach in the study of modern Russian society social structure; identifying the signs of a new working class. The Main Provisions of the Article. In accordance with Marxist ideology, in Soviet sociology a working class was regarded as a protagonist of social change and a center of attraction for the forces of social change. The contemporary integration of workers into the capitalist system, the transition to the economy of the sixth order, the defeat of socialism, the global transition to a postindustrial society require to comprehend the «working question» from a new prospective. The authors actualize the problem of revealing the content and structure of the «new working class», traditional and actual methods of its theoretical conceptualization. The features of class and stratification approaches to the allocation of the working class in the structure of society have been studied. It has been shown that the excessive specification of criteria, non-critical declarative positioning of the middle class into the basis of the Russian society structure, led to a high degree of uncertainty in the model of the social structure of the Russian society of the early XXI century. The author's definition of the concept of a new working class has been given. Defining “the new working class of modern Russia”, we mean a group of employees in all spheres of material production and services whose content and nature of work are routinized and segmented; not participating in management and not having the property rights to the enterprise in which they work. Most of the times, these are workers without higher education. Power and control in the organization do not belong to them, their degree of freedom and authority in organizational structures are limited, they do not influence on the planning and control of labor

The spread of Islam in the Malay Archipelago (henceforth Nusantara) contributed to the activity of al -Quran translation in Malay civilisation. The society started to learn about Islam and the syariah that encouraged them to be close to al-Quran and translate it into the local language. Al-Quran was translated into Malay language in many ways. This study is a study of text aimed at identifying the translated works of al-Quran in Malay language beginning from the 17th century to the 20th century and to investigate its design and chronology. This qualitative study takes a descriptive approach and inculcates the historical method involving heuristics, critique of sources, interpretation and historiography in data collection and data analysis. The research findings show that 21 al-Quran translations into Malay language have been produced since the 17th century in Nusantara. Most of the al-Quran translated works were approached by interpretive translation rather than literal translation. The design of al-Quran translation into Malay language had developed in line with the times, beginning with classical Malay language using the jawi (Arabic) script, until the modern Malay language using romanised script. The concise translation style was seen to dominate the layout of al-Quran translations into Malay language. The al-Quran translation activity was not without controversy, until it led to several works being banned from publication. The rapid translation activity shows the enthusiastic efforts by society in Nusantara in transferring religious knowledge into guidance for daily life.

This article will explore how our theoretical base and practice traditions have adapted to challenges from within-group analysis and from the wider socio-political field. Radical social change, shaped by revolutionary developments in communications technology, presents our theory and practice with further challenges to adapt. Some suggestions will be made as to the way forward.
