The DC plasma chemical vapor deposition (DC-PCVD) method was a promising technique to fabricate CVD diamond coatings in industry, because it has many good properties, such as high grown rate of diamond films, big grown area, high qualities, and cost effective. In the present work, we synthesized diamond films on cemented carbide (YG6) substrates, and studied the different nitric acid aqueous solution treatment durations influence on diamond nucleation stage. The results indicated that well-chosen nitric acid aqueous solution treatment durations should be selected. For too short treatment times, the residual Co will promote the carbon transform from diamond metastable phase into graphite stable phase. On the other side, too long treatment times will consume too much Co, which will lead to the shortage of cohesive body, and finally the crackers in the bulk propagated and peeled off with the diamond films well grown on WC grains.

This research was done by using three groups, of heat treated AZ31 Magnesium alloy. First group was as received samples, second group was recrystallization annealing samples and third group was solution treated samples. Fatigue test are carried out for applying forces (5, 7.5, 10, 15, and 17.5N) these forces convert to stresses. The stress values are (50.4, 75.6, 100.9, 151.3 and 176.5 Mpa). Fatigue curves have been recorded for heat treated AZ31 Magnesium alloy, also one specimen from each fatigue test group is subjected to hardness and surface roughness test. The results show the as received group fatigue when compared to recrystallization annealing and solution treatment , the failure occur in high number of cycling because of the alloy made by hot extrusion process so it has high compressive stress in addition to high strain hardening.

HA and HA/Col were prepared by a solution treatment on AZ31 magnesium alloy. The microstructure and composition of coatings were studied by SEM, XRD. In vitro study was performed by immersion the sample In Hank’s solution for 7 days. The H2 evolution of the HA/col coating was as low as 0.24 ml/cm2 which can insignificant increase the corrosion resistance of AZ31.
