Internationally, a great number of researchers have pointed out the significance of school–family relationship in the process of children’s transition to primary schools. However, only recently has it been a subject of research in Greece. The purpose of this particular research, which has a sample of 1602 pre-primary and primary school teachers, is to investigate teachers’ viewpoints on the role of parents in the process of their children’s transition to primary school. Data has been collected through the use of questionnaires. Statistical analysis has shown that the overwhelming majority of teachers consider cooperation with parents as necessary. They indicate that the most important factors for successful transition are parents’ level of trust in teachers, their views on schools and learning, and their support for the new situation their child experiences. As far as the most appropriate practices are concerned, almost all teachers mention updating parents at the beginning of the school year, while many suggest that parents and children visit primary schools and that common meetings of both kindergarten and primary school teachers with parents take place before school begins. It therefore seems that teachers acknowledge the role of parents in the process of transition and suggest appropriate practices for their participation.

Education is a powerful tool to change the world by changing the behavior of society to be better. In Islamic education, one most important thing is the education of faith or belief, because it all starts from it. Faith is the foundation of knowledge and value. Islam emphasizes how important it is to teach values to kids in primary school level and how important is the role of parents and teachers. This method is very essential to build strong values for kids so that those values which are taught from that age would last forever. This happens because kids have powerful memory to remember everything. This paper explaines the importance of teaching values to primary school students and the best methods to instill Islamic values related to “akidah” in age 7 – 13 years old by using axiology theory and trying to relate it to philosophy. Axiology is one of philosophy study which focuses on the theory of values. Its study contains about how to reach knowledge to get values in ethic, logic and aesthetic ways. The result of this paper explaines that there are some steps which can be used for teachers in primary school to educate students about values in general and about Islamic values which most of students have the foundation before from their parents. The current study aims to identify the reality of the problem of school bullying among primary school students. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method for its suitability to the current study. The study sample was randomly selected and applied to a sample of (14) leaders, (10) supervisors and (36) teachers. The questionnaire was used as a key tool for collecting information. The results of the study showed the following: the reality of bullying school among primary school students was so high that it reached the arithmetic mean (3.65), And that the causes of school bullying were high enough to reach the arithmetic mean (3.46). Also the absence of statistically significant differences in the reality of bullying problem among primary school students and the methods of prevention and treatment due to the variables "age, job title". Based on the findings of the study, the researcher recommended: activating the role of primary schools in developing the values ​​of tolerance and democracy, rejecting differences and accepting the other by including them in the study programs and emphasizing them in the interactions between members of the school community and activate the role of parents' councils to exchange information between family and school, and enhance confidence between the two sides, which helps to reduce the problem of bullying that hinder the educational process.

There are many factors that influence children's eating, and the role of parents is outstanding. During our research, we studied children's eating behaviour and were also interested in parents' attitudes towards their children's eating behaviour. In the course of our investigation, we used a part of the already validated questionnaire, DEBQ. Our sample was made up of primary school children and their parents. A total of 172 children and their parents completed the questionnaire. The results show that parents consider the child's nutritional characteristics differently than the child itself. We found that parents overestimate their children's self-control about delicious food.

Sustainable Development (SD) is a rich, challenging and thought-provoking construct in social sciences. The main purpose of this paper was to identify and explore the role played by primary school teachers in building up the idea of sustainable development (SD) among students. This paper was intended to identify that how a teacher can successfully execute the concept of SD by influencing students’ minds at the primary level. Quantitative survey technique were utilized for data collection. All the primary school teachers of Lahore division comprised the population of the study. Through multistage sampling technique, 352 primary school teachers were selected as participants of the study. A self-developed SD questionnaire incorporating four major factors (teachers’ awareness, pedagogy, curricular and co-curricular activities) with Cronbach’s alpha value = .93 was used to measure the role of teachers in building the sustainability concept among students at primary level. The results indicated a significant mean score difference among SD scores of teachers, sector wise (private and public). Furthermore, the results also reconnoitered the significant difference (p=.04) between the mean scores of female and male teachers in building up the SD concept in students’ minds.
